Nothing was too much trouble for the carers looking after my mum. They washed and dressed her, gave breakfast and medication. The bed was changed if needed and everything was done with a smile. The carers gave advice when asked, which was very helpful.

Contacting Home Instead was one of the best decisions we made when looking for care for my Dad. It's clear that everyone on the team is extremely professional and passionate about their work and they have always been very helpful with any queries we've had.

Dad's carer has formed a great connection with him and really understands what things he needs particular help with or direction. He has told me he enjoys her visits and looks forward to the meals she prepares for him.

We are especially happy that she has gained his trust and is able to assist him with changing his clothes more often so he feels fresher.

While Dad has only been in receipt of help from Home Instead for a few weeks, I cannot fault the care and assistance provided so far. The carers arrive promptly every day and help with dressing, personal care and catheter management leaving Mum time to get herself ready for the day. After spending a long period of time in hospital and then respite care we weren't sure whether Dad would be able to come home and Mum would be able to cope - with the help of Home Instead our worries have been put aside, Dad is so much happier and enjoying life again, Mum is reassured that she has the help she needs and as a daughter living many miles away I have been able to relax a little and cut down on the trips up and down the M1. It is good to know that we can step up his care plan as and when this is needed. Thank you to all the carers who look after Dad with such kindness and respect.

My mum has been having carers for over a year now. The help and support they give my mum has been invaluable. She has become very fond of all the carers, and always looks forward to them coming. They have taken on a lot of the roles I had been trying to fulfil, but with living over 80 miles away it was becoming increasingly difficult. She has daily visits apart from a Sunday. They are so lovely to her, and both the carers and mum are in a good routine now. Mum's eyesight is rapidly deteriorating and with the help of the carers we are still able to keep her safely at home. Thank you team, you will never realise how appreciative we, her family are!!

The kindness that I have been shown, the help and support I have received has been phenomenal. I can't recommend these services more highly. This includes the team in the office and all the lovely ladies that come to see and look after me.

We are so lucky to have been connected with Home Instead at Pocklington. From the initial phone call and fact finding visit by Rebecca, the Client Manager, through to every single care provider who calls on our aunt, we cannot praise them enough. They are all so caring, considerate and reliable. Our aunt calls them her ladies. We were nervous of letting people into her home as we didn't know how she would react, but she really looks forward to their visit each day.

My mother and myself have been delighted with Home Instead. The carers have been excellent. So caring and kind. They always carry out all tasks thoroughly and are respectful of my mothers needs and adapt to her wishes on the day. From my point of view I find the app so reassuring, being able to read how my mum is each day. The staff always reply promptly to my e mails and inform me if there are any issues that I need to be made aware of. She provides regular reviews where my mum is able to say how she wants any tasks etc added or changed. At last I feel reassured that my mum is able to remain at home with a great team who care for her so well. I would recommend them to anyone who wants to stay in their own home and for family members it is so lovely to know they are in safe hands. Thank you so so much.

We have ben very pleased with the service we have had from Home Instead. All the care staff are very professional and caring. They are very well trained before they start. They always come at the same time and it is a pleasure to see them arrive every morning to help my husband, who has Huntington's Disease, shower and dress. They involve him in decisions and encourage him to talk. I particularly like that we have the same staff as consistency and routine are important to my husband. I enjoy the conversations with them too.

From the moment we contacted Rebecca to talk to her about moving in my sister in law to our home , she and her team have been there every step of the way to guide and advise us on all aspects of care , equipment needed etc. The care package is truly tailormade for every individual , it also takes into account how other family members are feeling , and what steps the care team can take to assist us all in the very difficult transition period to looking after a poorly family member in the home environment. The team are usually are the same on Rota every week thus allowing us to build a relationship with them, they are allows cheerful and speak very highly about the company they work for, that is a huge comfort to know they are happy and looked after by their employers.

I have been pleased with all the carers involved in my husband's care. They have been kind, friendly, respectful, encouraging and engaging him in conversation. It always puts a smile on his face when they arrive. I also appreciate the kindness and consideration towards me.

Decided on Home Instead as they were highly recommended, to provide a couple of hours care a week . In order to give a bit of respite care for the main care giver and myself . The whole process is friendly and very professional . All questions were answered thoroughly . The initial meeting at home was great . Home Instead were very careful to match their Carers to the person needing care . We have found this a excellent service, their Carer matched is amazing, always finding new ways to interact . Fantastic match . I cant recommend Home Instead enough . All staff are highly trained, and the care given is amazing .
