Home Instead have been exceptional, professional, efficient and very caring. This theme of care and excellent service runs across the team, the carers, the managers and the administrators. Thank you for enabling dad to stay in his own home for so long, with visits increasing from one a day to three a day. I cannot recommend Home Instead highly enough.

Mum and Dad have been so pleased with the care and support that Home Instead have given over the last 2 years. Iona is their primary carer 4 days a week, with Gill as her cover when she's on holiday, and everything works perfectly. Nothing is too much trouble and they are really flexible in what they do, as Mum needs a bit of extra help with house work etc now. Totally professional. So..... thank you very much for everything you're doing to make their lives better.

Great service and care for my mother who came down from the North to stay with me. I work full time so they came over during the day to provide a couple of hours support and take mum out somewhere nice. The manager Angela was lovely as were the other staff.

We use Home Instead in the North for mums care so it was the obvious choice to contact them here in the South to help out whilst mum was down here. They were very patient to understand mums care needs and how her dementia affects her every day.

Our Dad lived in his home for over 65 years, raised us with our late Mum, welcomed grandchildren and friends for decades. His home and garden were his beloved 'haven'; when faced with physical decline, we had a decision to make. He wished to hold on to his quiet life, as independent as possible, with little disruption. This is exactly what the team at Home Instead sensitively set about helping with. The office team met him in his home, gauged his needs, character, likes / dislikes. They developed the care plan with us closely, in the loop at all times; a phone call was never too much trouble, ever. Every point was discussed, as the service expanded and any tweaks to the provision was handled with true understanding. I would like to highly praise carers Mustafa, Sue and Louise - their smiles, sensitivity, thoughtful ideas added so much to his weekly routine. Each brought a gentle impact to brighten the days. Also, the fantastic aid escorting him to a wedding recently. Very grateful.

Communication between the carers and client and myself is excellent. The office staff are also very helpful. Updates as to change in care circumstances have run smoothly. I am happy with the overall service. My husband is happy and compliant with all carers.

Home Instead provided reliable companionship and welfare support for my father during a very difficult period. The carers attended regular welfare visits, accompanied him to hospital appointments, and were always courteous and professional. I also appreciated their proactive efforts to help identify potential council funding when his care needs increased. While the service has clearly defined boundaries on what it can provide, the support they offered within those boundaries was dependable and gave me reassurance when I was unable to be there myself. Thank you to the team for your care and support.

My husband has been cared for by Home Instead for the past week and will continue to be. Your office team in Goldaming have been endlessly calm and helpful and the carers also kind, gentle and sympathetic. Excellent.

Brilliant service provided and quality of the performance from my carers involved, it's a double thumbs up from me. It is the highlight of my week and special thanks to Taff my carer that takes me out and to the gym which I really enjoy.

Overall, my experience has been very satisfactory. The staff are very friendly and supportive in providing their services. The management are very approachable and will contact my family if they have any concerns.

It was such a relief to employ Home Instead to come to the rescue after my 89 year old Mother suddenly declined and I was overwhelmed with the responsibility of her care.

I found them to always be prompt, kind & caring, efficient and professional. My Mother was treated with dignity throughout all her visits and nothing was too much trouble. They always stayed their allotted time and sometimes when able stayed longer.

They slotted in with my Mums routine with ease helping my Mother get up, showering her, making her a cup of tea and giving her breakfast . They even put the washing on tided round and put the bin out.

They kept in close contact with me and through their app, I was updated with what they had done and how my Mother was feeling, after every call.

I went away for a short Mon to Fri break and had a live in carer from Home Instead to supervise and look after my husband, who has Alzheimer's disease.

I would recommend her and the Field Care Manager of Home Instead.

I hope to repeat the experience in the future.

Help on tasks as required, particularly dealing with 3 cats' trays and other tasks, e.g. watering plants. Helpers always on time. Jobs included emptying dishwasher and washing machine, and putting away/hanging to dry. No personal care, light house duties as I have a cleaner for those. I have no use of my right hand at the moment and stiffness of my arm and shoulder, so the tasks have been adjusted to those problems. No problems with service provided.

Homeinstead carers are reliable, consistently kind and truly caring. They take the time to get to know their clients. Dad looks forward to their visits and is very grateful for their professional delivery of care. As a family we would be lost without them!

My needs as a 96-year old with limited mobility but still fully compenent mentally are generally well met by Home Care providers. Those over 40 years of age are generally more sympathetic than younger persons. Wear and tear on equipment tends to be greater than if I were looking after myself. I seek to impres of carers that if they cannot find things, or do not know where to put things away, not to hesitate to ask me whatever I might be doing. Most carers automatically attend to matters even when not asked.

I am so pleased with the care and support given to my mum by Home Instead. The efficiency from the very start has been amazing both from the administration, management and carers alike. I would highly recommend them.
