Overall Experience

Mum has had carers for the past 18 months. She has a small regular team of carers who have are always punctual, friendly, kind and take their time to chat with her whilst completing their tasks. They are alert to any changes or concerns and keep us informed. We also have access to a Portal where each

member of the family can view the notes of each visit.
The administration team are very efficient, keeping us updated of any care changes and are approachable for any queries we may have..
We would definitely recommend Home Instead.

Overall Experience

I approached Home Instead to provide assistance to my father following his dementia diagnosis in 2024. Initially just 2 days week Home Instead helped with daily chores, shopping and company, assisting my father to continue going out for walks etc. We gradually increased the service as the months passed

and his condition deteriorated to 6 days per week. Home Instead never missed a visit or let us down. They were also very agile at crisis points to support us with additional care at short notice.
Our Care Manager and her team were great with communications both in and outside normal working hours, providing us with the reassurance that all requests were listened to and actioned.
The minimum 2 hr service window means that the carers are consistent and enabled my father to trust, know and recognise who was making the home visits. An essential requirement when dealing with dementia and releasing him from the worry of the unknown.
I highly recommend Home Instead!

Overall Experience

Excellant friendly and caring local service, arranged at short notice, I instructed when recovering from a shoulder operation. A well managed service and spport team I have used in the past and would use happily again if required and recommend them.

Overall Experience

Very professional company who have been efficient and helpful from day one. The app has been vey useful, I am able to follow visits made to my father - which is reassuring. His carer has remained the same which has resulted in a kind and trusting friendship for him. Also helping my mother with small

domestic tasks as needed. Any queries which have arisen are quickly communicated and dealt with promptly.

All the staff at Home Instead have been exceptional. They have all gone the extra mile to provide consistent, reliable, friendly care for my father. Over the Summer his care needs increased rapidly and Home Instead were always at the end of the phone providing advice and support. The carers were so

Overall Experience

I found Home Instead via an Alzheimer's Dementia Adviser's list of local service providers. The Care Manager came to visit my twin sister and myself to explain about the services provided. He was very easy to talk to, thorough and professional. He answered any questions in a friendly manner.
My

sister felt she didn't need any support and was very apprehensive about having a stranger come to her home. However, from the first time she met Lucy, she felt at ease and pleased that they had similar interests. In the past six weeks they have been for walks, been to the local cemetery to visit our parents' grave, been shopping, collected medication from the pharmacy, sat doing a jigsaw, chatted and laughed together. Before leaving Lucy ensures my sister has her lunch ready.
I have found it easy contacting the Care Manager if I request something to be added to my sister's Care Plan or have a query.
My sister now looks forward to the weekly visits and sees Lucy as a friend.

Overall Experience

We first involved Home Instead when my dad had early stages of vascular dementia. It was too much for my mum to get my dad up everyday, so we arranged for a carer from Home Instead to visit for an hour on Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 10.30am.
The carers were so friendly but also professional in

helping my dad get up, showered and dressed. They would make him some toast and a cup of coffee and chat to my mum too.
This set up was great for my dad and a massive relief for my mum.
Where possible my dad had the same carers each time however any changes were advised in advance and to be honest it was nice to have a variety of people call by to help. Bianca, Sam, Janet and Aaron were my dad's regular team and were all great with him.
Claire (team manager) checked in regularly with us.
For situations where your parents are not ready to go into a care home but need some interim support allowing them to remain at home and enjoy home comforts, I strongly recommend Home Instead.

Home Instead have been fantastic, with carers providing companionship to my partner for about four years. I liked and trusted the staff and carers completely. I completely relaxed during my respite hours, confident in their attentive engagement and care of my partner, whose dementia has made different

demands. They formed relationships with him, and made him feel valued and safe. The admin staff were responsive and extremely helpful. Highly recommended.

Overall Experience

Home Instead provided excellent care for my parents when they were alive. After a hip operation, I spent time in respite but was overwhelmed living at home on my own. My son contacted Home Instead immediately and they were able to help even during a weekend.
My support has been excellent. I need physical

help and I enjoy the variety of different carers. They are all supportive, empathetic, thorough and entertaining. I appreciate the office support that is availabe too.

Home Instead had supported our family over a number of years, enabling our father to remain at home, and now caring for our mother. The quality of care is excellent, with carers matched to fit with the client and family. They can be relied upon for support and advice when circumstances change.

Communication works well, and the app helps to see how care is being delivered. Dad's companion is always very caring and provides excellent support for him; all current needs are well provided for and delivered.

Overall Experience

Brilliant care and service provided by Home Instead in Reigate. A particular member of staff was very reassuring and helpful when he visited and the ladies that came to help my mum were lovely. Just wish I found them earlier as their help with mum was wonderful and she enjoyed seeing them each day.
