I would just like to say a huge thank you to the lovely carers that have been involved in looking after my mum and dad over the last year. They have both shown great empathy and care towards my mum who suffers with advanced dementia and they have also been so supportive of my dad as he has struggled
to cope with the worsening situation of his wife of 65 years. They have been truly amazing and I couldn't have managed without them!

Home Instead have provided a wonderful live-in carer for my father and stepmother for the past six weeks. Although having someone living in the house was a new concept for them, she quickly won their trust with her warmth and empathy. I have been especially impressed with her ability to provide the
necessary assistance sensitively and respectfully. Her experience and professionalism put everyone at ease, creating a sense of security and comfort. The staff at the Home Instead office bent over backwards to accommodate our needs at short notice. We can't thank you enough.

Home Instead stepped in for the last week or so of my mother's life to help the care company we were using. All of the Home Instead ladies were just great and very helpful in quite tricky circumstances at times. They always did more than was expected of them.

Home Instead have been caring for my father for 18 months now. The staff and caregivers are always friendly and efficient and make an effort to engage my Dad in a conversation around a subject they know he enjoys. At a very difficult and emotional time we found Home Instead to be incredibly supportive. They always acted swiftly, professionally and with good humour and it was always made clear that our Dad's wishes were of the utmost importance. During the early part of this year and with being a key worker it was impossible to get to see mum. Home Instead really stepped in to make sure that mum didn't feel alone. Mum told me over the phone that lovely people that came to help really made her days pleasant and bearable. I think she almost
looks forward to their visits more than mine.

Home Instead was assisting my mother, who is 92, once a day to help with cooking hot meal. My mother was able to look after herself in all other respects. Dementia was her issue, and its progression was slow, fortunately. Her second vaccination came along, and well the shock to the system had my mother
hospitalised 8-hours later. They could not find anything wrong, but clearly, there was as my mother was incapable of walking any longer, let alone being able to care for herself. So immediately, there was a need for a lot more care. Home Instead (Godalming) moved heaven and earth, and the next day, they had carers coming in 3 times a day with myself and my sister assisting them wherever possible. The ladies that then started to come along were all exceptional, as of course, was the original carer when it was care needing to be administered just once a day. Fortunately, we able to find a home for a mother to go to quite quickly. Thank you, Home Instead.

I have been delighted with the quality of care offered by Home Instead, Godalming. The carer has been kind, caring and extremely sensitive to my mother’s needs, and a great encourager to my father too. I can not praise the professionalism of this company enough - from the management to individual carers
who go above and beyond every time. The difference of just having one carer over the week has been very positive and vital for my mother who has mixed type dementia. My thanks to Home Instead!
