I have been delighted with the quality of care offered by Home Instead, Godalming. The carer has been kind, caring and extremely sensitive to my mother’s needs, and a great encourager to my father too. I can not praise the professionalism of this company enough - from the management to individual carers who go above and beyond every time. The difference of just having one carer over the week has been very positive and vital for my mother who has mixed type dementia. My thanks to Home Instead!

Amazing company and carers. Home Instead (Godalming) looked after my mum after she had a stroke and needed help with her personal care. She was always treated with dignity, respect and the carers were matched perfectly as there was plenty of talk about during their visits.

Our experience with Home Instead has been extremely positive. The manager met me and took a lot of time and care in understanding my mother's needs before then meeting my mum. I felt reassured by the level of due diligence undertaken. The ladies looking after Mum were caring, friendly, punctual and professional.

Home Instead Godalming provided care for my father while he was with us over the Christmas holiday - another branch of Home Instead provide his care when he is in his own home. I couldn't fault the quality of care and professionalism. The carers were exceptional. Nothing was too much trouble and they did everything with a smile, fitting in perfectly. My father was delighted and really enjoyed them helping him. It made Christmas that bit more special as we didn't have to worry.

The carers have been excellent with Mum, taking her out each day to National Trust properties, singing classes, indoor cricket and general visits to the shops, which she has thoroughly enjoyed.

The quality of care and the sensitive manner in which it has been provided has exceeded our expectations and we would give a 10+ rating if possible. My elderly parents-in-law (85 and 90) have been using Home Instead for regular daily support; cooking a hot meal and general household support very successfully. Unfortunately, my father-in-law had a fall and needed immediate full-time care. I telephoned the office to see if they could help and a carer whom they knew was with them in 30 minutes. They then provided care for the next 48 hours until we had a more permanent solution in place. This was done with no fuss and was achieved in a seamless fashion and within a very short time I could hand over to professional carers who I was very confident to leave in charge. They really were fantastic; from all the office staff to the carers. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone in need of help.

At first, I must admit that I was rather reluctant to participate in companionship from Home Instead, as I consider myself very independent - even at 92. I was persuaded by my daughter! However, I have really enjoyed our conversations and outings locally - to my surprise!
