Our first experience with Home Instead have been very pleasing. We have had only kindness and support from everyone who has been involved with help for my husband.

My husband has been diagnosed with Parkinsons since 2020 and had a fairly rapid decline in his mobility which made life hard for us both. One problem was that he has always hated showers but could no longer use a bath and this caused arguments whenever I tried to shower him. A friend recommended Home Instead and life has been transformed. Both of the two ladies who sometimes alternate handle him so well that he actually looks forward to them coming. It means I can do jobs like sorting his medication, or even just reading the paper. Both of our lives have been hugely improved.

We cannot thank the team enough for the incredible care, compassion, and support they have shown my nan. From day one, the carers have been nothing short of exceptional - always kind, attentive, patient, and genuinely invested in her wellbeing. They treat her with such dignity, warmth, and respect, and it's clear they truly care about the people they look after.

The love and care they have given her is second to none, and as a family, that means everything to us. Knowing she is in such safe and caring hands gives us huge peace of mind.

I also want to recognise the amazing office team, who have been an enormous support to us as a family. They are always available to answer questions, offer guidance, and help with anything we need. Their communication, understanding, and willingness to go above and beyond has made such a difficult journey so much easier.

We feel incredibly lucky to have found such a dedicated and compassionate team. I would wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone look

Home Instead have made my life more comfortable and given me confidence and strength to preserve and improve my quality of life. All the staff are very professional and friendly. They are first class and the best of the best.

All reviews are subjective. The only comparison I can make is with all care. I prefer Home Instead because you always send two carers who genuinely give me the respect due to an old man of 92. I am treated with respect, as well, but importantly, it's always.

We have been very impressed with the service provided. We needed support for my father in a short space of time and a team has been provided are so helpful, kind and professional. The 3 carers who visit across the course of a week have been consistently excellent. We can't fault the care that is being provided. It has provided such peace of mind to know that Dad is being so well cared for.

I needed temporary care for a few weeks for my mother whilst I was on holiday. Home Instead were prompt and efficient in organising daily visits at short notice, using the same carer each day. I found them very helpful and kind and my mother was extremely happy with the care she received and was full of praise for her carers.. My mother is fairly independent but still needs some help and i found Home Instead got the balance perfectly right and the carers were very knowledgeable and supportive. I would highly recommend them and it is reassuring to me that they are there as and when I need them.

It is a really difficult and emotional experience choosing care options for a loved one, but Home Instead have been brilliant at guiding us through.

After 3 weeks, we are very happy with the care provided. Each carer brings their own personality to the role and adds companionship to the tasks that they carry out. Each is friendly and helpful in addition to demonstrating competency and professionalism.

From my initial phone call to Home Instead, my concerns about having carers attend my father on a daily basis were met with compassion and understanding.

At the first home meeting we were advised on the options available. As we required help in tight deadlines, the company made arrangements for our care to start promptly.

The carers assigned to my dad are excellent and their personalities suit my dad perfectly. All the staff we have met have been kind, considerate and understanding.

Home Instead's Care Team first visited for Dad, to help him with showering and personal care 3 times a week. They worked slowly and professionally with him to gain his acceptance and trust. When Mum later became unwell they were on hand, able to step in at very short notice with extra visits and tasks, arranged efficiently in the office. They all went above and beyond, covering weekend hours and nights to make sure that the care she needed, in the limited time she had left with us, was provided. Dad's needs then increased and extra sessions again instantly met his requirements and our requests. A small, experienced, regular team visited and cared for him maintaining his acceptance of the additional help and support he now needed each day at a difficult time. I would not hesitate to recommend Home Instead and would like to say a big thank you to everyone for all the help they gave Dad, and Mum, during the last 18 months.

Neede help after hospital stay as I live alone. Service was excellent from my first phone call enquiry to saying goodbye to the lovely people who had helped me so much.I looked forward to their cheerful and friendly visits and they gave me so much support .

It takes a lot of pressure of us as a family knowing he is well cared for.

Review was held in the living room, and felt informal and relaxed, which was good for dad as he often feels anxious now. Staff member spoke to Dad directly and encouraged him to give his opinion.
