From my initial phone call to Home Instead, my concerns about having carers attend my father on a daily basis were met with compassion and understanding.


At the first home meeting we were advised on the options available. As we required help in tight deadlines, the company made arrangements for our

care to start promptly.


The carers assigned to my dad are excellent and their personalities suit my dad perfectly. All the staff we have met have been kind, considerate and understanding.


The service we have all received from Home Instead has been excellent so far and I would highly recommend them.


The carers are building a relationship with my dad now and he now appreciates and enjoys his time with them.

Home Instead's Care Team first visited for Dad, to help him with showering and personal care 3 times a week. They worked slowly and professionally with him to gain his acceptance and trust. When Mum later became unwell they were on hand, able to step in at very short notice with extra visits and tasks,
arranged efficiently in the office. They all went above and beyond, covering weekend hours and nights to make sure that the care she needed, in the limited time she had left with us, was provided. Dad's needs then increased and extra sessions again instantly met his requirements and our requests. A small, experienced, regular team visited and cared for him maintaining his acceptance of the additional help and support he now needed each day at a difficult time. I would not hesitate to recommend Home Instead and would like to say a big thank you to everyone for all the help they gave Dad, and Mum, during the last 18 months.

Neede help after hospital stay as I live alone. Service was excellent from my first phone call enquiry to saying goodbye to the lovely people who had helped me so much.I looked forward to their cheerful and friendly visits and they gave me so much support .

Home Instead have been simply wonderful from the very start. From our initial consultation to the actual care delivered to our dear mum has been outstanding.
Professional, courteous and all sensitively and compassionately managed.
The carers who have looked after mum have been simply brilliant and
provided much love, genuine and sincere care and have made a huge difference to mum and her wellbeing.

Sarah and the caress, Julia and Ian have been fantastic. Unfortunately due to Mum's dementia we have not been able to proceed with long term care.
The support Home Instead have given me and my family during this process has been so helpful and kind.
I have no reservations in recommending this company
to anyone who needs extra support and care.

Home Instead have been looking after my mum for some time now, they offer a great service, staff are very friendly and helpful. If you need to add additional time slots they will accommodate. They will do as little or as much as you need in terms of care, or just some companionship if that's all that's
required. Would recommend to any one else that has an elderly parent or relative in need of assistance.

We are delighted with the way our lovely carer is relating to us. She is capable and confident in helping my husband to wash and dress and has an excellent manner. I have been learning from her by watching how to coax him to take his medication, clean his teeth etc. Her visits are a delight and I feel
she is taking a load off my shoulders.

My mother has been a client of Home Instead for two years. The staff who visit have always been kind, considerate and professional. She can be difficult, but they treat her with care and dignity.
The other staff are always helpful and organised. Sympathetic to change in the care plan and offers helpful
advice. Again, very professional.

Good support when coming out of the hospital, guided to having reduced support gradually so that by the end of the booked service be able to manage by myself. Always cheerful and helpful. I appreciated the help when needed and all their excellent care.

The 3 carers in the team looking after my husband are all friendly, kind and efficient. Totally reliable and conscientious too. Home Instead responded quickly to my initial approach, gave clear details of their service, backed up by an introductory visit and good paperwork. Since then office response has been prompt and happy to answer queries. They also check regularly that the service I receive is what I want. My care giver
is super. She is prompt, neat and polite. She respects my personal space and my "strange" ways of doing some things, and willingly responds to any tasks I need help with.

Your care staff are simply excellent. Ever ready to help in any way they can. Please can we know who is coming - if you cannot provide a rota (even if there are gaps) please phone so at least we know their name, and if this is their first visit, we are ready to show them around and explain what is to
be done. I appreciate they have notes but it is showing where things are to be found.

After being treated poorly by another provider and let down on many occasions, I was very nervous about any new provider. However, Homestead soon put me at ease, ensuring I was happy and confident, even went above the call of duty when my old supplier just dropped my help at no notice, they stepped
in to make sure I was ok.
The introductory service was brilliant, ensuring all my needs were addressed, ensured I met all the carers first so no one was a stranger, they checked up ever day or so to make sure it was going well. First class.
The Carers I have are fantastic, I wouldn't want anyone else. The support staff are just amazing, always there to help and assist when needed.
Best thing I've done was move to Homestead.

My background is within the Hotel & Catering world, having run a Venue Finding Company for 20 years and prior to that working as a National Accounts Manager for a large chain of London Hotels. Service is in my blood and when researching the Care Industry, I felt that this is a skill that would prove very useful.


I have lived near Olney for over 20 years with my husband Matt and 2 boys, (now both young adults,) lovely Phoebe my Wheaten Terrier and 2 cats, Shadow & Mr Mugabe (he really is a dictator!) In my spare time I love reading and walking in the lovely parks around our home.


Since starting up Home Instead in 2012, we have supported so many wonderful clients to facilitate their wishes to stay at home, wherever that may be, in the place they love or where they feel most comfortable. Getting help or admitting you might need some assistance isn't always an easy decision to make but we have many years’ experience in the sector and know that choosing the right care is just so important. I do feel very proud of my team of office colleagues and CAREGivers who have embarked on this journey with me - we are always looking at ways we can improve and add another dimension to our wonderful clients' lives.

I started in Health and Social care 17 years ago, when I moved from London to Buckinghamshire. I had two small daughters and wanted something I could do as well as being a mum. Over the years I have worked as a carer and ran daycare centres for the elderly with the British Red Cross. I joined Home Instead in February 2012 when the office was first established. I have always been passionate about the good quality care that was central to each individual, and the Home Instead ethos matched this. When starting with Home Instead, I was the Registered Care Manager, as the company grew, I developed into the Operations Manager. More recently I have been promoted to the General Manager of the company. I truly believe that we are the best home care company in our area, who has a passionate team in the office and out on the field. Whenever I get free time I love to travel and embrace new experiences.

As a Care Manager, I am involved in most aspects of the daily delivery of our care services. From the moment we receive a new client enquiry, I will work together with the client and their family to put a plan in place that facilitates their individual needs.


Having over 10 years’ experience in the sector, initially supporting children before I moved into adult social care, I also deliver training to new CAREGivers, teaching them how to administer medication correctly and the principles of moving and handling.


I come from a large family having 2 sisters and a brother. This makes my home life as busy as my work, as I'm currently living with my partner JJ, mum, dad, sisters, niece and 2 dogs but I wouldn’t have it any other way.

With a background in running pubs, I am used to having to juggle priorities which is probably why I enjoy my role within the scheduling team so much. Ensuring that our clients get the right people at the right time every day takes dedication and commitment but the rewards are well worth it. I know how important it is to the people we support to be sure that they can rely on us. Just that little phone call to let them know we are on our way or that pint of milk we can get for them on our way over can make all the difference. I still get to go out and see all my clients whilst being a mentor to new CAREGivers, making sure that they feel fully supported.

My role as Deputy Care Manager sees me heavily involved in scheduling visits and liaising with clients, their families and other healthcare professionals to ensure every aspect of their care runs smoothly. Coming from an airline background, delivering great customer service is at the heart of my nature. It’s very important for me to get to know each of our clients and CAREGivers personally. By fully understanding their needs, we can ensure that we respond quickly to any changes.
