The 3 carers in the team looking after my husband are all friendly, kind and efficient. Totally reliable and conscientious too. Home Instead organisers and office staff are helpful and cheerful, always willing to arrange additional help and visits if we need them. We are very glad we chose 'Home Instead'.

Home Instead responded quickly to my initial approach, gave clear details of their service, backed up by an introductory visit and good paperwork. Since then office response has been prompt and happy to answer queries. They also check regularly that the service I receive is what I want. My care giver is super. She is prompt, neat and polite. She respects my personal space and my "strange" ways of doing some things, and willingly responds to any tasks I need help with.

Your care staff are simply excellent. Ever ready to help in any way they can. Please can we know who is coming - if you cannot provide a rota (even if there are gaps) please phone so at least we know their name, and if this is their first visit, we are ready to show them around and explain what is to be done. I appreciate they have notes but it is showing where things are to be found.

Best thing I've done was move to Homestead.

The ladies who have been coming to me over the past several months have been superb. They do everything cheerfully and efficiently.

Both ladies that cared for my dad were really good and so kind to my Dad who is suffering from dementia and can be quite difficult at times. I would highly recommend them to anyone thinking about care in the home.

We are both very happy with the service and the staff we talk to in the office and see at our home.

As daughters, we can relax knowing his needs are being met and he is much happier now. We can be his daughters again.

Home Instead were brought in to look after an elderly friend who was struggling to cope with some aspects of living alone, having recently lost his wife. They have been outstanding from the outset. All of the carers come across as friendly and patient and the staff behind the scene are excellent at updating me with any issues as they arise. The on-line app is easy to use and very useful in allowing me to monitor the visits, should I not have time to visit. I would certainly recommend their services without hesitation.

The weekly reports are so useful in keeping me up to date.

This is the first time we've had to care for someone with dementia. Home Instead have helped us navigate this and support us. The carers that attend to my father-in-law are understanding of his attempts to keep his independence and respect that. They help us as a family knowing that he is supported every day.

Very happy with the care provided to my mother. The carers come in every day and are always friendly and helpful. They help with dressing and washing and making cups of tea as well as any ad-hoc jobs. Everyone in the office is also helpful with any admin queries.

I can relax when I am away from the house, knowing that she is being looked after.

On coming out of hospital and needing help myself, I was relieved to have people who coped with support stockings brilliantly and were willing to wash my legs and feet, being unable to do so myself. Each member of the team has impressed me: they are thoughtful, see what needs doing and do it, are willing to do anything I ask of them - and giving mealworms to the birds is not very pleasant! They arrive on time. They are interested in us but not intrusive. They are cheerful, and so quick around the house that I blink and a job is done. I hadn't realised how slow I'd got until I saw the care team sprint up and down the stairs.

I have been completely satisfied with Home Instead's approach to caring. Initially, taking time to find out about Mum, her family, her needs, likes and dislikes, past and present interests etc. Most importantly she is treated with dignity and has helped to get her used to someone else helping her as she was becoming very dependent on me.

Excellent service that centres on what my mum needs, pairing Mum up with people of similar interests and outlook on life has given my mum back her confidence to go out and engage with the world again. We have both felt fully supported when deciding what works best for us and am immensely grateful for the kindness and compassion shown at each meeting.

I cannot speak highly enough about Home Instead and the service that they provide. Visiting carers are an absolute credit to the company. Personal, compassionate, understanding. A visit from the carer for my mother is comparable to a visit by a family member. Keep up the good work.

Home Instead provide a wonderful service. My father has recently become virtually bedridden. We have carers in the morning and they have been wonderful, providing a great support for both Mum and Dad. They are friendly, professional and extremely capable.
