Home Instead has been supporting my mother, who is 92 and suffers from dementia, for over a year now, and we are delighted with the care and help they provide, with regular carers who are reliable and really do care. Helps put my mind at rest that she is receiving top-quality care.
Thank you, team.

We started using Home Instead for my 90-year-old mother in September 2022 and have been delighted with the service ever since. The carers are outstanding and have made a real difference to my mum's quality of life, not to mention mine. Over the summer, Mum was quite poorly and mostly bedridden, but
today she is up and about, even venturing outside for short walks in her patio garden. Everyone has commented on how much better and brighter she looks, and this is all down to the encouragement, friendship, care and support Home Instead staff offer. Whilst some of the Home Instead infrastructure, IT systems and regulations can be a bit confusing at times, you know you're in capable hands, and the whole organisation is very efficient and well-run. I would have no hesitation in recommending Home Instead to anyone looking for an alternative to residential care; it really is a gold-standard service.

My mother is 92 years and fairly frail but really switched on most of the time. Four different Carers support her with three visits a day and they have proved to be amazing people. We could not be happier with their dedication to supporting Mum in a super friendly manner. They are bright bubbly and
Mum basically perceives them as friends who help her! Nothing seems to be too much trouble, and this is really appreciated. In addition, the office staff are tops to deal with and any request is acted on in a speedy manner, thanks ladies! This is a life changing experience for Mum!

My parents began their journey with Home Instead when both in their late 80s. My mother's mobility problems meant she needed help with household tasks, some of which my father struggled with. Although very proud and private individuals, my parents accepted the carers who soon put them at ease, and over
time became like members of an extended family. Especially as my parents' health and strength slowly declined over seven years, and they relied on the carers more and more for personal care too. The company take the trouble to match clients and caregivers, and even through Covid introduced any new carer before they joined the team, and reviewed the provision regularly. I can't praise the team highly enough for their flexible approach as my parents each approached the end of their lives - and how much positive difference they made to all of us. I was able to be a daughter not a carer. The care was of the very highest standard and was care in all senses of the word. Recommended unreservedly.

Home Instead provided care for my wife two mornings a week from December 2019. The Carers quickly established a good rapport with my wife and she regarded them as friends. Carers arrived on time always gave my wife the time needed to provide for her needs. A wellbeing check was carried out at each visit
and any causes for concern were immediately communicated to me. Home Instead carried out regular reviews to ensure that the care provided was appropriate to my wife's needs. The administration team were helpful at all times. I would recommend Home Instead to anyone looking for a professional yet friendly care team to support their needs.

Mum has had carers with Home Instead [Milton Keynes] since well before Covid, taking her shopping for food, taking her to hospital appointments, light cleaning but so much more. They have been kind, caring, reliable, proactive, and helpful in so many ways, and have meant that Mum could live independently.
We have changed the pattern of calls quite often to suit Mum, and each time the office has been happy to consider and adjust, with no problems.
Over the years, Mum has made some really good friends with the carers, and we are sad to leave but she now needs residential care.
Thank you so much for your help, can highly recommend.

We engaged Home Instead to help Mum after she came out from hospital and needed help with independent living. The staff have been 100% helpful at all times and we are very pleased at how well the service is working. Mum enjoys the company and we feel Mum has lovely staff looking out for her. It’s been
the best decision to have Home Instead.

I didn't want to get carers in for Mum; I thought I could do it all. But as Mum's needs increased, we decided to look around. I found Home Instead and another company; I contacted both, and Home Instead stood out by a mile as a professional, caring company that I felt was right for my mum. They started
in February 2022, and we've never looked back. They are a God send. My mum loves them; she has amazing carers who she has built a lovely relationship with. I get respite while they are there, and it totally feels like we care for my mum as a team. Home Instead do regular checks to make sure all is going well and that the care package is still suitable for Mum's needs. There's always a lovely response if you phone the office, and nothing is too much for them. I would wholeheartedly recommend Home Instead. Oh, did I mention the app? Amazing. I can see everything about the visit on the app, which makes my time away from Mum worry-free.

I first had Home Instead in December 2021. I was very unwell at that time. I moved house and carers from March 2022. I have always appreciated the care and understanding I have been given. The carers have always been cheerful, always on time been very helpful as I have recovered. They have become friends
as we got to know each other.

The Milton Keynes Home Instead are a wonderful caring team. I never had any worries regarding the care that was supplied and their reliability was even there during a pandemic. Problems were sorted and acted upon very quickly. You won't regret using Home Instead to care for someone you love.

Very professional and very caring. Really impressed with the level of care my mother formed very positive relationships with the carers who gave her the support she needed in order to allow her to continue living a semi-independent life. Home instead kept us informed of developments and issues surrounding
my mother's deteriorating health. When my mother eventually required 24-hour residential care, such was the friendship bond with her carers, that she was visited by them in her care home.

We would thoroughly recommend Home Instead. From the very first meeting with Home Instead, we would tell that this was the right company for us. Their professionalism and caring approach to us and our Mum was just wonderful. The caring team were excellent and very adaptable to our ongoing needs. Sadly
we had to terminate our contract as our Mum had a fall and is now in a care home. The cancellation process was also handled with sympathy and care - we can't thank you all enough for all your support.

The carers are always punctual and polite. They treat my partner with dignity and persuade him to get out of bed and shower. Which he will not do for me.
I would highly recommend Home Instead.

My Mum who is 98 is very independent and stays in her own home, at her age assistance and companionship is a key thing, two years ago at the start of the pandemic and after taking advice from her medical centre we chose Home Instead to provide this care. It has been a great success for her with the
carers she has coming to her home very reliable and sensitive to her needs. The issues with the pandemic continue for her but dialogue with her carers and their supervisor allows us to tweak the care as required.

I can thoroughly recommend the service that Home Instead provided for my mum. Thanks to the work of these professionals mum was able to stay independent and in her own home for as long as she possibly could. I knew that when the caregivers called in to visit Mum, I could relax and it eased the worry
of would Mum be lonely that day or has she eaten, got up okay etc. The little walks they used to take Mum on also meant she was getting some fresh air and building up her mobility again. I am really thankful to the team for supporting Mum and if you are in need of a little support I can't recommend Home Instead enough.

I have been a full-time carer for my mum since February 2021 following her suddenly becoming very ill and subsequently being diagnosed with late-stage ovarian cancer. I moved in with Mum straight away and by June 2021. I was really struggling with my mental health, having had no real respite during
that time. That's when I contacted Home Instead (Milton Keynes). From the beginning, Mum and I felt comfortable with the team. We just needed someone to pop in for a few hours every other weekend so I could have a proper break. The caregivers that have dealt with Mum since June 2021 have all been so lovely and kind. Home Instead also took care to limit the number of caregivers so Mum was seeing familiar faces each fortnight. The care provided has been a lifesaver to Mum and me during this incredibly difficult time for us and our family. I highly recommend Home Instead (Milton Keynes).

My husband has young-onset Alzheimer’s. Home Instead (Milton Keynes) provided companionship visits, initially one afternoon a week for two hours. The caregivers are carefully matched and share similar interests to him. They are well trained, calm and professional. Over 13 months, the visits increased
to five afternoons a week. They were the highlight of his day, and he came back from outings happy and excited by what he had seen and done.
Home Instead (Milton Keynes) supported us both. They were flexible and responsive and I always felt that both the office team and the caregivers ‘had my back’. Unfortunately, my husband now needs 24-hour residential care but has settled well.
This has been the most intense and difficult period of my life, and Home Instead (Milton Keynes) got me through it. I highly recommend them.

My background is within the Hotel & Catering world, having run a Venue Finding Company for 20 years and prior to that working as a National Accounts Manager for a large chain of London Hotels. Service is in my blood and when researching the Care Industry, I felt that this is a skill that would prove very useful.

I have lived near Olney for over 20 years with my husband Matt and 2 boys, (now both young adults,) lovely Phoebe my Wheaten Terrier and 2 cats, Shadow & Mr Mugabe (he really is a dictator!) In my spare time I love reading and walking in the lovely parks around our home.

Since starting up Home Instead in 2012, we have supported so many wonderful clients to facilitate their wishes to stay at home, wherever that may be, in the place they love or where they feel most comfortable. Getting help or admitting you might need some assistance isn't always an easy decision to make but we have many years’ experience in the sector and know that choosing the right care is just so important. I do feel very proud of my team of office colleagues and CAREGivers who have embarked on this journey with me - we are always looking at ways we can improve and add another dimension to our wonderful clients' lives.

I started in Health and Social care 17 years ago, when I moved from London to Buckinghamshire. I had two small daughters and wanted something I could do as well as being a mum. Over the years I have worked as a carer and ran daycare centres for the elderly with the British Red Cross. I joined Home Instead in February 2012 when the office was first established. I have always been passionate about the good quality care that was central to each individual, and the Home Instead ethos matched this. When starting with Home Instead, I was the Registered Care Manager, as the company grew, I developed into the Operations Manager. More recently I have been promoted to the General Manager of the company. I truly believe that we are the best home care company in our area, who has a passionate team in the office and out on the field. Whenever I get free time I love to travel and embrace new experiences.

Ensuring that our clients get the right people at the right time every day takes dedication and commitment but the rewards are well worth it. I know how important it is to the people we support to be sure that they can rely on us. Just that little phone call to let them know we are on our way or that pint of milk we can get for them on our way over can make all the difference. I still get to go out and see all my clients whilst being a mentor to new CAREGivers, making sure that they feel fully supported.
