The carers are all very pleasant and helpful and also very flexible in being willing to undertake a variety of requests such as dog walking, hospital appointments, occasional shopping and assistance with online shopping and purchases. punctuality good.

Home Instead provided care and support for my mother when it became apparent that she was struggling to manage with her previous arrangements.
Despite being over 100 years old she had lived at home with limited support until spring of this year. An infection left her weak and after a period of respite
care in a care home she was keen to return home.
This was made possible by the care provided and despite this being a difficult period as her strength declined the carers were both capable and positive in their support, we were pleasantly surprised that despite there being a number of different carers all made an immediately favourable impression and showed great empathy and concern.
My only regret is that my mother's decline became rapid and we were forced to have her readmitted to the care home.
If we had had a little more time it would have been possible to arrange more comprehensive support with the necessary equipment.
I have nothing but praise for the carers who looked her.

Home Instead Northwich have been helping my mum for about 18 months now and her current care professional is great. Mum looks forward to her visits, she really helps with small jobs mum now struggles to do and the notes she writes up for us to read are really helpful. A big thanks to three members of

I was going travelling for a few months and suggested to mum she had some help whilst I was away. She initially didn't want any care/help, and now after a couple of months she couldn't be happier with Home Instead and looks forward to the visits where she has help with the household chores. She also
enjoys going out with the care professional to do some shopping or for just a coffee and a chat. She loves to read the notes from the visits on the App which is very user friendly. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

Home Instead provide care mornings and teatimes for three and a half days a week for my Mum, who is in her 90s. They are a very friendly team and, as well as doing a few jobs, they also provide company for Mum.
Mum was very resistant initially to having carers in her home, but overtime the ladies have
won her over and she now welcomes their visits.
The carers are very reliable and extremely helpful, for example, when Mum didn't feel well and needed to contact the Drs our carer assisted her. The office staff are also extremely helpful and friendly.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Home Instead for themselves or a family member.

Home Instead have provided care and support to my father who has mild dementia for about 16 months starting when my mother was hospitalised. The carers provide a flexible service to my parents and their visits are much appreciated by all.

We have been using Home Instead for 4 months for my husband's care. Initially, 2 visits a day, but following a time in hospital now increased to 4 visits a day. Excellent service from the office based team. Always helpful and supportive. Quality of skills shown by care pro's is quite varied, most are
excellent, but a few not so. All care pro's are friendly and on time for visits. We used a different provider before Home Instead, and the difference in service is remarkable. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Home Instead to anyone looking for care provision for themselves or a family member.

I needed help at home following a hip replacement and Home Instead provided me with carers for the first 4 weeks following my surgery. They provided me with all the help I needed in the preparation of meals, housework, application of surgical stockings etc. In fact there was nothing I felt they could
not help me with. Each of the carers worked to the highest of standards. They were all punctual and extremely pleasant. In fact I felt that I got to know them well in the short time they were with me.
Should I be in a similar situation in the future, I would not hesitate to use Home Instead. They are very a very professional organisation.

In November my parents had a failed experience of respite care. Whilst making plans for them to return home, Home Instead provided an outstanding level of support to enable us to increase carers visits.
I can't understate how much their professional and understanding approach helped with a very difficult
situation and this is ongoing.
I feel confident with the whole service and the attitude and support given is inclusive of both admin and care staff as they are all exceptionally helpful and definitely go above and beyond.
Home Instead are a lifeline for us as a family due to having confidence in their overall delivery of care with a professional attitude.

Home Instead have cared for my Mum and Dad for about 4 years now. Their support has adapted to Mum and Dad's changing care needs which has enabled my parents to remain in their own home with their much loved pets.
Care has been delivered with great compassion and respect for my parents' dignity but
most importantly the visits of the Care Pros have brought fun and interest into their lives.
More recently my parents needed Live In Care and the Live In Care Pros' professional yet homely input has given me a reassuring peace of mind.

Mum has been having the services of Home Instead in a morning for a couple of months now. She lives alone and has dementia. It has been a big help and has given me peace of mind that mum is being looked after and has some company while I'm at work. The ladies do a great job, and the reports say that

The manager and her team provided outstanding care to my mum when she became unwell and needed extra care.
They were always so friendly and helpful and respectful of my mum's dignity at all times.
The manager always tried to accommodate any extra time needed as Mum's condition deteriorated and would
step in herself if staff weren't available. She is an outstanding manager and very caring.

Home Instead (Northwich) have provided our Mum with care services several times a week since mid-2023. We have been very impressed by all aspects of their service. The care professionals have each formed a lovely relationship with Mum and she always looks forward to their visits. They are highly professional
in caring for Mum and let us know if they have any concerns. The office-based team are equally helpful and has shown great flexibility in adjusting schedules as Mum's needs have changed. I have been impressed by the attention to detail by the office and the training you give to the carers you employ. Most of them so quickly pick up little things like where items are stored, filling of glass of water in my bedroom, emptying of waste bins etc. i.e. they show initiative when required.
The office keeps a close check on whether carers actually arrive and makes the client aware if they expect to be late, i.e. good communication between carer and the office.

Home Instead provided support for my 82 year old mum who has Alzheimer’s. Their care professionals were so lovely patient and kind and their support enabled us to keep Mum living independently at home for 2 years before the need for 24-hour care meant she needed a care home. They accompanied Mum shopping,
helped with light cleaning and food preparation and offered friendship and companionship. As Mum’s condition progressed they tailored their care to suit her needs and most importantly Mum looked forward to the visits.

We have been using Home Instead Northwich and Knutsford since November 2020. The support they provide for my husband with dementia is invaluable for him and myself. We have gradually increased the regular hours that we have, as his needs have increased.
They have been brilliant at matching the carers
to my husband, we have the same carers on the same days and times every week. Their support has enabled me to continue supporting him at home and carry on doing the things I enjoy and maintain my own health.
The carers are amazing, very kind, calm, thoughtful, and knowledgeable.
They have also recently provided live in care to enable me to go away and visit family and friends. This has been fantastic and I really appreciate all the help they have provided. All the work they do researching what care is required before the carers visit is amazing.
I cannot recommend Home Instead enough.

I can't recommend the team at Home Instead highly enough, they are fantastic. Each person, whether that's an office member or care professional, genuinely cares about my mum. They are respectful but still manage to get difficult tasks done. They have bent over backwards to accommodate everything I've
asked of them. My mum has gone from absolutely not wanting anyone in the house, to welcoming everyone with a smile on her face. I love the fact that they don't just rush in and out, but actually sit down with my mum, giving her companionship. I'm convinced that her dementia is not progressing as quickly as I'd feared because she now has so much good company. Thoroughly recommend.

I had the pleasure of joining Home Instead Northwich & Knutsford in January 2021. I made the decision to join Home Instead after seeing first-hand through a close family member the difference they make in supporting people to remain safe and well in their own homes.


My career prior to joining was in the furniture retail industry where I held positions in area management and head of retail roles. I love working with people, so the combination of providing an excellent quality of care for the local community and being able to employ a fantastic team of local Care Professionals was the perfect match for me.


I live locally with my wife and three daughters. In my spare time I enjoy walking in the countryside and following motorcycle racing.


Through leading the team at Home Instead, I am determined to continue providing the best possible, personalised care to help people remain independent in their own homes across Northwich, Knutsford and surrounding areas.
