After my knee replacement operation Home Instead carers came twice a day and stayed with me overnight for several days. As I live alone my only other option would have been nursing home recovery/convalescence. The hospital would not operate until they knew what care arrangements were in place. I really
did not want to go to a nursing home. With Home Instead, I was able to stay in my own home. The care provided was exemplary. The carers were delightful and caring, without being intrusive. Their presence gave me reassurance, particularly overnight and they played a great part in my early recovery from surgery.
I would not hesitate to recommend Home Instead for post-operative support at home.

We would highly recommend using Home Instead East Cheshire. They have cared for my Mum for the last year and a half. All the staff do a fabulous job and she looks forward to them coming. They are more than happy to adapt to her ever-changing needs which enables her to carry on living in her own home.

Thanks to everyone at Home Instead for their support.
Our circumstances are that my mother needs assistance with every aspect of daily life, suffering from Alzheimer's and Vascular dementia and the other ailments of old age. Desperate to keep her at home I live with and care for her full time, while
still trying to earn a living. Ladies from Home Instead visit a couple of times each week to provide companionship and practical help to Mum, and to enable me to leave the house for errands etc. They are as much a support to me as they are for my mother and that's an important factor to consider when choosing care.
The manager at Home Instead works very hard to make sure carers fit my Mum's personality. I often need to add care to fit my business commitments and one of the staff always finds a solution, sometimes at very short notice, to alter the schedule. Carers are really kind and supportive to me and most importantly Mum, and very conscientious and reliable.

Home Instead was recommended to me by a couple of people and has lived up to my expectations. Currently, just an hour morning and evening gives me the peace of mind that my mother, who is a type one diabetic and suffers from dementia, is in safe hands when we are away. I can rest assured that her injections
have been done correctly, she has taken her medication and has eaten well. Mum's carer is a perfect match for Mum, very gentle and calm, loves Mum's dog and nothing is too much trouble. Her notes on the portal are detailed giving me reassurance that all is well. Home instead is professional and thorough, and all my queries have been dealt with efficiently. The service is flexible, and consistent, which gives me reassurance that should Mum require more support in the future they will be able to meet her needs as and when required.

My elderly Mum is just two weeks into her return from respite care in a care home back to living alone. Home Instead have been excellent at helping to make it a smooth transition back to her own home and this has been a great help as I live a considerable distance away.
Communication with staff has
been great. She's listened to my concerns and responded to any queries I have had promptly. She has been proactive in helping to get the help and support my Mum needs and nothing has been too much trouble for her and the team.
Despite only just starting to have daily help, my Mum seems to be settling into the new routine and happy. Home instead have given me peace of mind that my Mum is safe and able to continue living in her own home as she wishes.
We would be happy to recommend Home Instead.

Home Instead (East Cheshire) has been providing caregiver and companion services for my mum for 3+ years. The team are all super, they are very caring and considerate with my mum engaging her in lively conversation and taking the time to build their own relationship with her. The entire Home Instead
team is very accommodating, responding to our questions and requests in a timely manner. I find the Home Instead portal particularly helpful, it lets family members get a view into how each home visit has gone. I live far away from my mum so the daily updates give me confidence that she is getting the home care she needs. Home Instead is there when family cannot be and I would highly recommend them.

The team have been extremely good with the care offered to my Dad. They were very helpful when I had to go into hospital, nothing was too much trouble to make sure not only that he was cared for but that I was supported too.

Home Instead has been providing an absolutely exceptional service for my mum. The staff are all wonderful, so kind and caring and my mum loves her daily morning visits. Right from the start they have been so professional, listening carefully to our requests and going out of their way to fulfil them.
I would 100% recommend Home Instead and it's such a relief for myself knowing that my mum is in good hands. The ladies who care for my mum are so friendly, she completely feels at home with them and they work really hard to complete their tasks. Both my mum and myself couldn't be happier. Thank you.

Home Instead has always been well-organized and prompt to reply to communications. The initial interview was thorough and conducted in a friendly manner. The carer allocated to my Mum was a really good match and my Mother looked forward to and enjoyed the companion visits, doing the shopping and laundry
together. New carers were always introduced by someone that my Mother had already met. Although my Mum only used the Home Instead services for about 6 months this did extend the time that she was able to live in her own house before deciding to move into a care home and this greatly improved her quality of life during this time. Many thanks to the staff at Home Instead for running such a professional and personal care service.

Faced with a hip replacement and realising that I would need some assistance and reassurance in the first couple of weeks I investigated local agencies. It was on the advice of a personal connection that I talked to a care professional and was recommended Home Instead.
I was impressed with the extremely
comprehensive first interview and I can only say that all my concerns were addressed in full. The compatibility of the staff sent was excellent and the service efficient from start to finish. In addition, the agency has mostly long-term clients and yet a great effort was made for someone who was only requiring a short service to ensure continuity of staff wherever possible.
I would have no hesitation to recommend Home Instead and should I require help in the future it will be my go-to agency.

We have now used Home Instead East Cheshire for over six months and found their service to be top-rate.
Looking after both my elderly parents-in-law. One with dementia and incontinence issues.
The carers provided tend to be provided from a small pool of about 5/6 carers meaning there is continuity
and relationships built between carer and patient.
The manager and her team have been very flexible when required with hospital stays, changes in needs etc, requiring changes in visit times and quantity of visits.
We have confidence that our parents are getting all the care and requirements they need and have helped relieve the pressure and burdens on us.

Home Instead has been extremely supportive to me, as I live far away from my dad and it’s been a great comfort knowing that he is in the caring hands of such a wonderful team. The communication is excellent and I never feel rushed on the phone, there is always time to sort out any worries I may have.
My dad is having two calls a day and I know he looks forward to the banter and companionship from the carers, alongside the personal care they provide. Always a smile and a joke, when he’s a bit down and they always make sure he’s settled and comfortable before leaving, even if that means going over time a bit. They make sure that Dad is offered a variety of foods and if he refuses his meal, or doesn’t eat much, they double up on deserts and endless cups of coffee/tea /juice etc. He never goes hungry and is well-hydrated. They sit with him and discuss the morning newspaper or chat about past hobbies and interests or watch a bit of morning TV together. Home instead is an extended family, when family can’t be there.

My husband has frontotemporal dementia benefits so much from having a companion service from Home Instead every week. He goes for a walk and coffee and a good chat with his companion, and it really helps us both that he is able to chat with someone different. His companion is really nice, patient, friendly
and caring, and she supports what he wants to do during the time he is with her - she has become his friend, which is lovely. We have found the Home Instead team very helpful and flexible to our needs. They always respond very quickly to any changes we need to our schedule of care. This fills us with confidence for the future if and when we need to access more care in the home for my husband. We would recommend them very highly.

From the moment my mum and I had our initial meeting with the manager from Home Instead, we felt confident we were in good hands. The staff and care provided are exceptional. The business is very well managed and organised but never loses the personal touch. Any queries are dealt with swiftly and effectively.
The staff provide wonderful personal care for my mum in her own home. Since we have had the carers from Home Instead, my mum's life and mine have been enriched. Huge thanks to all the staff.

So far I am very satisfied with the quality of care received. I have felt comfortable with all the careers that have come to give me support. Communication between myself and the staff in the office is very good indeed. I feel comfortable knowing that I could ring up with any queries or concerns and
be listened to and respected. The carers all engage in meaningful conversation and take an effort to get to know me and my family and my likes and dislikes.
