My husband was very apprehensive about having a carer but the carer had a good attitude and treated him well, showing humour and understanding. She instinctively knew when T needed space but equally encouraged him to engage. Thanks so much!
Thank you so much for your kind words! We completely understand that welcoming a carer into your home is a big step, so we are thrilled to hear that your husband felt comfortable so quickly. It's wonderful to know that her sense of humour and intuition made such a positive impact. We will be sure to share your lovely feedback with her. We wish you both all the best.
Reluctant at first I could very quickly see the change in Mum and would hear stories of the chats she had with her support workers.
I think she was very happy to meet new people and get to exchange stories about each others lives.
She enjoyed sharing meals with people more.
I would say a big thankyou to the team and say that it was more than we hoped for and helped to make ..what turned out unexpectedly to be Mums last few months....happier for her and her family.
Thanks

Your compliments mean a great deal to our team, and we're honoured to support your loved one.
Home Instead Gloucester provided care services for my mother for six months. The standard of care and the supporting administrative services were excellent. The careers provided the care service we wanted but also took time to chat to Mum, which was very important in terms of her general wellbeing. Would certainly recommend Home Instead.

We're so glad to hear that the connection between your dad and his Care Professional has been such a positive one. Your kind feedback is a powerful reminder...
The team of carers looking after him have been absolutely wonderful, really working with my family to support my father in any way they could both physically and emotionally, during his changing health conditions.
The managers/ admin staff communicated very well and were very flexible as my father's needs changed.
Thank you so much for your kind and heartfelt words. It means a great deal to our entire team to know that we were able to support your father, and your family, through such an important time in his life. We're truly honoured to have been part of his care journey, both while your mother was with him and in the more recent months. We wish him all the best in his new home.
Professional, compassionate and accommodating. My mother was able to continue living in her own home for a year longer than anticipated, before moving into care, thanks to the support and companionship provided by the small team of carers specifically allocated to her. I was particularly grateful to them for continuously appraising me of all her care and health needs and for coming to her rescue out of hours on more than one occasion in the event of minor "emergencies".
Thank you for your kind words; they mean so much to the team. We wish your mother all the best in her new environment, and it has been a pleasure supporting her.
She was patient and kind, explaining what could be provided and all with care and also a sense of humour.
What an incredible team of people you are and we are so thankful that you came into our lives when we needed you the most. We will forever sing your praises to those who now need you and what you can do to help those who need you now.
We have had a very good experience with Home Instead in dealing with the carers who came to help my uncle. From the start, they were warm, friendly and caring. My uncle felt comfortable with them and we were very happy with the help they gave him.
All carers bring friendly, professional and outstanding service, always with a smile and really bond with the client. They arrive when scheduled and make sure that all medication is taken and daily food is prepared.
The whole team were excellent from the admin staff right through to the carers. Response times were good, I felt that they worked hard to get to know Mum as a person, and they were proactive in all areas. I would thoroughly recommend them.
Thank you for your kind words. It has been an absolute pleasure supporting Mum and getting to know her. We hope she is settled and comfortable in her new environment. Best wishes from the team.
Mum and her partner were very well looked after daily whilst he was still alive, coping with mum's reluctance to have them in the house with tact and compassion. Once mum was left alone Home Instead provided a wonderful live-in carer to look after her every need. Communication between all the carers and myself was excellent and their regular reports provided real peace of mind. They sorted various issues, including collecting missing prescriptions which should have been delivered. I would have no hesitation in recommending Home Instead to anyone considering either daily help or live-in care.
Thank you for your kind words, they mean a lot to the team who have found it a pleasure to support your mum and her partner.
My father was initially very reluctant to agree to carers supporting him in his home when our step-mum had to be admitted to hospital for end-of-life care. However, he was soon singing the praises of his wonderful carers and the family gained tremendous peace of mind knowing that he was being regularly looked on and that his care needs were being met. On several occasions, staff from Home Instead went over and above their contractual obligations (for example, staying with him for several hours before paramedics arrived after a fall). I have no hesitation in recommending the team at Home Instead.
I feel I got to know each member of my team well and they got to know my routine and the way I wished tasks to be undertaken.
The carers and staff are excellent all very helpful and very caring always there to listen if any problems occur. I would definitely recommend Home Instead.
All of the team at Home Instead Gloucester and The Forest of Dean are professional, caring, supportive and just make a huge difference to our lives. I am the full-time carer for my husband living with Alzheimer's disease and they enable me to keep going in that role by facilitating the breaks I need. The carers are wonderful with my husband, always making him laugh but also supporting him in his needs - Companionship and practical skills. In addition, they see and do jobs to help me in the home. The team in the office are always available and communicates well with me and each other so there's always clarity. Basically, they're brilliant, I can't recommend them highly enough!
Everyone from Home Instead Gloucester and The Forest of Dean has been kind, professional and efficient. They have become friends and we are very fond of them. They take the trouble to walk with my husband and to engage him in conversation either with the newspapers or photograph albums.
Thank you for your personal and highly professional service. All the carers were confident, caring and good-natured. This service provided a valuable addition to my mother's care during this time. With warm thanks.
