Very quickly we saw a decline in his mobility and ability to function as he did. Home Instead Care Pros and service leads were amazing in adapting to his needs whilst still giving him choices and maintaining as much independence as he was able to manage.
Right up to the day he was given the safety of a care home, they worked out the notice period by each day spending the routine 2-3hrs taking him out, settling him into the home and letting the home care staff know his likes and needs.
This was a massive help to me, the peace of mind that Dad still had a continuity of faces he knew and got on with.
Communication between the Care Pros, the office staff and myself was good.
I would not hesitate to recommend Home Instead to anyone needing assistance for a loved one.
I cannot thank Home Instead and all the Care Professionals working there enough, for supporting my father to stay in his own home, for as long as possible. The care and support they gave him and us as a family was immense. We could not have coped in such difficult situations without them. My heartfelt thanks.
I'm delighted we were able to help and wish you all the best.
We used Home Instead after the death of my mother-in-law in January 2024 and my father-in-law was left on his own. The care pros were fantastic in their support and adapting to the rapid increase in my father-in-law's care needs. All the carepros were kind, caring and supportive.
I'm delighted that we were able to help your father, the team were very fond of him.
Home instead were 100% reliable with compassionate, personable carers. They responded to ad hoc requests speedily and kept me informed of any concerns regarding my mother. They provided a schedule of carers and informed us of any changes.
Thank you very much for your review. It was an honour and a pleasure to care for your mother over the past few years.
We have gone from my mother never wanting care to looking forward to her visits.
The Caregiver is wonderful.
Would highly recommend.

Meet the Team (1)
Before opening Home Instead Andover & East Wiltshire, I spent 17 years in the Royal Army Medical Corps. This gave me a passion for serving others and a love for leading people.
The experience I gained delivering medical care in the most challenging environments taught me both that the highest possible standards are achievable in any circumstances and that delivery depends on a workforce that is trained, nurtured and supported.
