I have received the services of several carers, mainly female. My current main carer is excellent in all aspects of her work and care. She has a great personality and sense of humour. She always checks that I have everything I need before leaving my home.

The team nearly always provided transportation that meet the requirements.

The other key factor I considered when choosing a carer was timings as Mum needed routine and the fact that the agreed times were always stuck to was beneficial.

Home Instead provided outstanding care for my mum during her worsening health. Her carer went over and above to not only support my Mum, but the whole family as well. Home Instead were empathetic and flexible, adapting the care arrangements to suit my mum's changing needs. They truly are outstanding!

Home Instead (Greenwich & Bexley) provided my 91-year-old mother with carers while she was recuperating after a car accident. My mother lives alone, and my sisters and I all work and live at a distance, so we needed carers who could call in daily. The office managers (one in particular) made sure they understood Mum's needs and went to great lengths to match her with suitable carers who could visit at our preferred times. Her two carers were both superb - friendly, professional, punctual, caring and kind. Everyone at Home Instead was very supportive and reassuring throughout Mum's recuperation, and I highly recommend them.

I have been using Home Instead for a few months now and have been very pleased with the care and support of both Mum and myself throughout. Her care hadn't been easy as her needs have changed regularly. Management has always been able to put extra care in when necessary at short notice and haven't minded when I phone them loads of times a day to check things. The care is compassionate and I like the fact that where possible carers that she knows are found.

The service I receive from the carers is always excellent. They are prepared to work hard if required, ie wash floors, cook, iron clothes, put the washing out on the line, do some local shopping if needed.

My mother who had dementia looked forward to having her daily visit from a carer. They also went one step beyond to support my mother by talking to her on the telephone and always had the time to talk to her. Through Home Instead (Greenwich & Bexley) we managed to keep my mother in her home with their support until she needed twenty four hour care. I was so glad I chose them.

The care that my mother receives is fantastic, the care givers respect her preferences, are proactive in addressing any potential problems and she thinks the service is fantastic. The flexibility the service offers is amazing, they even managed an extra visit to get her ready and to a funeral that she wanted to attend. It is a relief to me that I am confident that the service will contact me if there are any concerns and we work together to address them. Excellent service. One key positive is the continuity of the carer. My father in law always knows the carer who will be looking after him. This is very important as it builds excellent relationships. The management are excellent, always easy to contact if necessary.
