Service received from a few of the staff, Jane and Michelle, has been very good for Anne. Kirsty, who arranges the schedule, is also very supportive.
Good continuity received for calls, and Anne is getting out regularly.

My sister is cared for in the best way possible at all times by the team.

Overall Experience

Service has been very good. Staff have all lovely and have got to know my husband well, and his routine is maintained. Andrew and Ian are especially good; they engage with my husband well and have a great interaction with my husband. Kirsty, Andrea and the office team are great help. I am now able to get out to my art class each Friday, and knowing Rod is well looked after gives me peace of mind and I am able to relax. From beginning to care, starting everything has been explained and any changes accommodated swiftly.

Overall Experience

All ok. The staff member was a a calm and friendly character who was happy to sit quietly with my husband as he worked on his computer. He served drinks and meals at appropriate times. He did have a number of interests that connected with my husbands, but my husband found in exhausting to hold conversations so he preferred to be quiet and the staff member respected that.

Overall Experience

From the initial consultation, Home Instead were fantastic to deal with. The registered care manager reassured mum and I and answered all of our questions. When Mum's care visits began, Mum quickly came to know and trust the care professionals who were always so attentive and kind. When mum had hospital stays, the scheduling team were always so flexible and understanding. Home Instead were always contactable and able to change arrangements often despite short notice. They were recommended to us and I understand why. To another elderly mum and daughter in a similar situation, I would wholeheartedly recommend Home Instead. They enabled mum to stay for longer in the home she loved.

Overall Experience

The carer who comes to sit with my husband is excellent. He engages my husband on a range of topics with knowledge, humour and kindness. Knowing that he is in safe hands whilst I am able to go out for a few hours makes so much difference. Also, when I come home, so many little jobs have been done. It helps me a lot.

We received exactly what we were promised.
Very professional and caring, catering to the individuals need and paying attention to the information given. Felt very relaxed when away knowing that relative was in safe and good hands. No complaint from relative, who was not keen to have people call initially.

Overall Experience
My Dad has had a live-in carer since his return from hospital following a small stroke. He is also virtually blind and has poor hearing which, together, mean he can easily become isolated and scared.
He has one main carer with others available to cover holidays. This provides a good level of consistency and routine. When other carers have attended they have provided variety and different conversation.
My Dad's needs have changed slightly over the past 3 months and this has been immediately recognized by the carer and adjusted as appropriate.
The experience and training of the care professionals mean that nothing is unexpected and is always handled without fuss.
The carers are well supported by their line managers who also support the family, which is much appreciated.

Home Instead have removed the stress and worry of trying to care for my Dad. I know that he is being well-cared for and is happy, secure in the knowledge that he is never on his own and enjoying their company.

I have had carers for one hour each morning to help me to wash and dress as I am not allowed to bend right down. They have all been very helpful and kind and friendly and I would recommend people to use this company if they need assistance.

A huge thank you to a particular member of staff at Home Instead for supporting Mum and Dad this year. The care shown to my parents has been exemplary. Mum and Dad relate to the care pros as friends. Overall Experience

I have three girls looking after me and I find all of them very helpful. They are very pleasant and willing and not daunted by anything I ask them. They attend me on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays for two hours each morning. I can honestly say that I look forward to their visits. Even their holiday replacements are first class.

My mum has been supported to remain in her own home by the fabulous Home Instead carers for the last 18 months since we lost Dad. It would not be possible for her to be here without this support.

Rebecca Bradley

Rebecca began her career with Home Instead as a Care Professional in Wetherby in 2012, after graduating from University. Since then she has developed her knowledge, skills and experience across all aspects of the business, working at a number of Home Instead franchises, before arriving at our Chester office as General Manager in 2022.

Rebecca is now Group General Manager for our enterprise group, comprising Home Instead Wirral, Home Instead Chester and Home Instead Liverpool South.
