View Full Details of Home Instead (Wirral)All ok. The staff member was a a calm and friendly character who was happy to sit quietly with my husband as he worked on his computer. He served drinks and meals at appropriate times. He did have a number of interests that connected with my husbands, but my husband found in exhausting to hold conversations so he preferred to be quiet and the staff member respected that.
From the initial consultation, Home Instead were fantastic to deal with. The registered care manager reassured mum and I and answered all of our questions. When Mum's care visits began, Mum quickly came to know and trust the care professionals who were always so attentive and kind. When mum had hospital stays, the scheduling team were always so flexible and understanding. Home Instead were always contactable and able to change arrangements often despite short notice. They were recommended to us and I understand why. To another elderly mum and daughter in a similar situation, I would wholeheartedly recommend Home Instead. They enabled mum to stay for longer in the home she loved.
The carer who comes to sit with my husband is excellent. He engages my husband on a range of topics with knowledge, humour and kindness. Knowing that he is in safe hands whilst I am able to go out for a few hours makes so much difference. Also, when I come home, so many little jobs have been done. It helps me a lot.
We received exactly what we were promised. Very professional and caring, catering to the individuals need and paying attention to the information given. Felt very relaxed when away knowing that relative was in safe and good hands. No complaint from relative, who was not keen to have people call initially. We have booked again with confidence. Would highly recommend.
My Dad has had a live-in carer since his return from hospital following a small stroke. He is also virtually blind and has poor hearing which, together, mean he can easily become isolated and scared. He has one main carer with others available to cover holidays. This provides a good level of consistency and routine. When other carers have attended they have provided variety and different conversation. My Dad's needs have changed slightly over the past 3 months and this has been immediately recognized by the carer and adjusted as appropriate. The experience and training of the care professionals mean that nothing is unexpected and is always handled without fuss. The carers are well supported by their line managers who also support the family, which is much appreciated. Home Instead have removed the stress and worry of trying to care for my Dad. I know that he is being well-cared for and is happy, secure in the knowledge that he is never on his own and enjoying their company.
From the first contact with management, everything has been excellent. I have been given a marvellous worker who does all she is asked and more. I am very happy with the service.
I have had carers for one hour each morning to help me to wash and dress as I am not allowed to bend right down. They have all been very helpful and kind and friendly and I would recommend people to use this company if they need assistance.
A huge thank you to a particular member of staff at Home Instead for supporting Mum and Dad this year. The care shown to my parents has been exemplary. Mum and Dad relate to the care pros as friends. I too feel the care team are an extension of the family. Home Instead have enabled us to support Mum and Dad at home through tricky period. I highly recommend.
Each carer has proved to be extremely helpful and has made my life that much easier.
I was recommended Home Instead by a friend, and to date, I'm more than satisfied. From the carers to the management they are friendly and helpful.
I have three girls looking after me and I find all of them very helpful. They are very pleasant and willing and not daunted by anything I ask them. They attend me on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays for two hours each morning. I can honestly say that I look forward to their visits. Even their holiday replacements are first class.
My mum has been supported to remain in her own home by the fabulous Home Instead carers for the last 18 months since we lost Dad. It would not be possible for her to be here without this support. They are all warm, kind and caring to Mum and keep her lovingly and safely at home.
Travelling up from the city to support siblings whilst away, I found Home Instead had been engaged in helping care for my mother. Morning visits to help with getting out of bed/washing/feeding followed up with evening visits to reverse the process to ensure she's safely helped to bed. I have met 4 staff in the course of over a week and can say without reservation that their level of training/support/knowledge/professionalism is absolutely first-class. Contact with Office for me was seamless. If you are considering seeking support for family, I strongly recommend you consider this company. Awesome service. Thanks!
The overall standard was good, I paid for night time carers and most were excellent but some were not. One male carer was excellent, always willing to clear up the kitchen and noticed he did things that needed doing! One female didn't notice things that needed doing and constantly had to be asked to help out. There are too many different carers.
We absolutely love Home Instead. All the carers are kind, funny, moving and eventually become part of the family. One of the staff is amazing, so approachable and caring. Home Instead has been an absolute lifeline to us all. Many thanks all.
Everything is very satisfactory.
Very caring team. Always a great support.
My mother is treated with the utmost respect by her care pros. They all approach their work with professionalism and empathy towards my mother.
Everybody is very friendly and helpful.
Always pleasant, respectful and works well. Adaptful to the situation.
