Home instead provided excellent one to one care for mum. Carers were selected to meet mums needs. Mum was not aware they were carers she thought they were friends. From setup to closing of the care due to mums care needs increasing Home instead were excellent. Mum enjoyed her trips out for food or staying in and having a good chat.

We have a carer each day for mam to make sure she takes her medication and has dinner. The ladies are always cheerful and chat to mam as they go about the tasks.

Overall the care and attention I receive each week is wonderful, I really look forward to my Tuesday mornings. I'm treated, and look upon my carer as a friend, rather than just someone who comes in to help me. We chat about all sorts and really have a lovely time together.

Care visits are received twice daily & have been the ideal option to help Mum maintain her independence, privacy & the ability to remain at home with dignity. The staff are caring & engaging with her, chatting, encouraging memory & recollections & share jokes with her. They are also good at keeping me ahead of anything she may need - extra shopping etc. All in all, they help both of us to live our lives.

My husband has two companions during the week. He goes to the memory cafe with one who spends two hours with him and brings him back home afterwards. The second takes him out one afternoon a week so he can see the world, get his brain stimulated and ends up with a coffee in one of Lichfield's many cafes. He is always happy and bright when he comes home from both outings.

Home Instead have been providing morning and evening care for our Mum for several months now and it has given us a great deal of peace of mind. Although the carers are there to tend to her needs, they always find time to chat with her and Mum enjoys this additional company. Over the last month in particular, my brother and I have been unavailable to help with some of Mum's appointments and Home Instead have been able to step in to help at short notice. This obviously helped Mum but was an enormous help to us as well.

Homestead took time to match the perfect carer for Mum. Excellent service every time - professional, kind and reliable. Visits are not rushed and Mum now looks forward to her carer's visit. I would highly recommend the company for the high quality service provided from all.

Very happy with girl who comes we use the nail cutting service, she always asks what we want doing and Im happy with what she's done.

The carers are friendly and warm and have liaised well with the family. When we have raised any changes we would like to the care, these have been implemented smoothly. It is a weight off our minds to know Mum is receiving care from ladies who look after her as we would.

I was very doubtful at first about asking for help, but my fears were unfounded and all my carers have been a great help to me and i look forward to their visits.

I first contacted the company with regards to having home help for my father enabling him to still retain some independence at home without the worry of completing everyday household tasks. The initial contact was prompt and informative and this has continued to be the case throughout the process of setting up visits. The carers are very good and reliable and the office staff answer queries promptly. There are no hidden costs. All is explained clearly.

The team have helped me and my husband care for my mum and dad in our home. They seemed to know what we needed after our first visit and matched us with a fantastic care professional who really clicked with my mum and dad. She understood what we were all going through emotionally as well as the support needed: personal care and outings. As we needed more support, a second care professional came to help us. My mum and dad especially appreciated her massaging skills on their dry skin. Both are incredibly caring and gentle. During a particularly difficult time, the supervisor and care professional really understood our feelings and helped us all. We have appreciated all the people who made up the team: the care professionals, supervisors and administration staff. They have always been efficient as well as sharing their individual talents and skills to provide support. Thank you so much to the team, I would highly recommend them.

I am very happy with the service provided by Home Instead but even more important is that Dad is also happy and looks forward to his weekly visit from his carer. It gives me great peace of mind knowing that he is in good hands.

The two ladies who visit me are very helpful. They take me for walks and sometimes we go around the arboretum or to the local canal junction.

Every team member was introduced and we had a personable care plan, a great team of carers and a management team who checked in and all supported a family-centered care approach which we really valued. From the good morning smile to the friendly check in how are you and talking of life experiences and adventures with Grandad showed his life was valued. You got to know us and that meant we felt included, sharing and delivering best care at home together. Towards the end of Grandad's care journey when we moved into end-of-life care and NHS care teams stepped in to support us too, you still showed up with a friendly face, a known voice, you comforted all of us, held hands and was present and for this, we are forever grateful and I know grandad would have known you were there, thank you, so highly recommended for anyone.
