Brought in this service around one year ago to provide increasing support for an elderly gentleman. The flexibility of Home Instead is its strength - very important in this situation. The vast majority of the carers' overall professionalism was superb and the many individuals managed to bond very well with the client. Would recommend.

Our close friend received both personal care and day-to-day living support with Home Instead for over 6 months. The team of carers has been excellent, with all carers responding positively to our friend's personal needs and interests. Home Instead provided an excellent service and the carers who came to support and look after my mum were absolutely lovely. They were punctual, efficient and caring and provided companionship for my mum, which she very much enjoyed. We will both miss their visits.

All these have helped my husband and I to remain engaged with normal social activities and avoid some of the isolation and anxiety dementia can bring, More recently we have used Home Instead's companionship service. My husband very much misses male company and the ability to go out and about in the car. His companion is a lovely man who provides these and my husband has begun to engage in conversation much more than previously. I benefit from his companion's visit too by having a break from our usual daily routines.
I particularly like Home Instead's flexibility and the very personal nature of their services which surpasses that of the other care agency used when I was in hospital for a short while.

My carer listens and responds to me and she is good-humoured. I look forward to her visits. She is extremely helpful and caring. She seems to be genuinely interested in me. She gets on well with other members of my family.
From initial telephone enquiries in early July 2023 to an assessment visit, followed by a 2 weekly visit to introduce staff who have helped me 3 times per week on a rota basis was handled admirably and a friendly, reassuring procedure. 'Home Instead' started with helpful visits on the 12th of August 2023 and continues. I look forward to the help I get including showering, hair washing, bed changing (including mattress turning) various household tasks and help with an exercise programme supplied by a 'falls clinic'. Which I find so reassuring, particularly for balance exercises. In total a good experience.

A lovely team of carers have been supporting my 92-year-old Mum after she came out of a care home in April. The care given has been excellent. The carers always arrive on time and have supported my mum with all her needs and any concerns have been addressed quickly. The care may seem a little expensive but in my opinion value for money given the quality and continuity of care received. They have helped Mum with her confidence to a point where we have been able to reduce the care she now requires so Mum can continue with her independence where possible in her own home. Communication has always been good with the team and myself.

We started using Home Instead Lichfield, Tamworth and North Warwickshire in May 2022 for our mother who has dementia. From our first meeting with the field care supervisor, we were delighted with the care and service she received. The ladies that went to my mother all had their own different way to reach out to her which has been wonderful. They all do things without having to be asked eg. washing, light housework and prompting her to undertake small tasks within her abilities. She has now moved into residential care a new chapter in her life story. We can't recommend Home Instead enough for enabling her to stay independent as long as she did. The staff are well trained and on time. They adapt to my mother's conversation well. They are good at bringing out the conversation rather than just sitting and watching tv. They are well-trained and tidy. All seems to be overall good.

We've engaged the services of Home Instead (Tamworth & Lichfield) for the past 2plus years, and are delighted with the support and care given. The team go above and beyond in support of Mum and our family. Communication is easy and always friendly and efficient. The ladies who support Mum are more like family friends than care professionals (they are always professional). My brother and I can't be with Mum as much as we'd like, and knowing there will be a daily visit for company for Mum is priceless.

The care package we have in place is covering early evenings. However, recently we have requested two evenings - Tuesday and Saturday (late evening). Very accommodating and flexible with their package which helps cover all our needs. Cares about the person they are caring for and also very understanding and knowledgable of that person. I cannot thank all the carers enough for all that they do in making my mom happy and comfortable in her home environment.

The Home Instead team have provided tremendous support for my wife and myself for over the past 18 months. The Care Givers have always been on time, smiling and unstinting in their concern for both our welfare. They remembered my wife's personal needs and routines and socialised with her. If time permitted they assisted with household chores.

My husband has been receiving weekly visits from Home Instead for 12 months. He was at first reluctant to accept these visits but he now looks forward to them. Each of the three carers from whom he has had support have been friendly and caring. He was sorry when the first one moved away, but he soon realised that her replacement was equally as good. When she moved elsewhere, he adapted well to the current person. He remembers each of them fondly - he even remembers their names, which is unusual for him and he often recalls the conversations he has had with them. We are both impressed by the fact that Home Instead will not send anyone new without first introducing that person to us. If I need to contact the office, I invariably get a quick and friendly response on the phone and, should the person I need to speak to not be available, they can be relied upon to contact me as soon as they are able. The quarterly reviews are always helpful and are much more than a mere formality.

Home Instead caregivers have been very supportive in helping to care for our elderly mother who has dementia and mobility problems. We are able to access Home Instead's online portal on a daily basis to read the caregivers' reports following their visits. This, together with regular review meetings, has given us much reassurance and peace of mind. The caregivers provide a range of services such as helping our mother with personal care, cleaning, laundry, shopping, and escorting her to appointments, whilst also providing companionship. They act professionally and treat Mom with dignity. I would thoroughly recommend Home Instead and the service they provide.

Sally has worked within care for 15 years and is very passionate about delivering the highest of standards, giving clients choice and control and creating an aspirational role for Care Professionals.
Carol has over 40 years of experience in finance and administration and her role is to support the business, manage the office team and ensure that efficient and effective systems are in place on a day-to-day basis.
Charlotte has 17 years of experience in the care profession. Her passion and speciality are supporting clients experiencing Dementia.
Charlotte was promoted to Care Manager in September 2025, after several years as a Field Care Supervisor.
Her role is to work with clients and their families, providing tailored care around their needs and wishes, enabling them to remain at home.
Sam has worked within care since the age of 18, she supports clients during their initial enquiry and will visit families in their homes to discuss and facilitate an individual's requirements ensuring that we provide a person-centred bespoke care package for all our clients.
Carrie is responsible for marketing-related activities by supporting the development and execution of the company's marketing and branding strategies.
Esther is a qualified accountant, and following many years of working in business, she decided to move to the care sector. She is also a qualified Love to Move instructor and helps with community projects.
Jacquie is responsible for supporting and engaging our care professionals through their Home Instead journey. She does this by ensuring compliance, and that they are happy in their role.
Gill is our senior care professional, and part of her role involves completing support visits to ensure compliance. She also helps to support Jacquie with the facilitation of Fab Friday Friends.
Donna brings a wealth of experience to our team. She is a qualified Primary School teacher, and decided to make a change in her career by getting into recruitment in 2018. Working in this sector at Avon Cosmetics, Donna was a top recruiter for 3 years running.
Janis works out in the community to help build relationships and engage with those organisations that may benefit from the services we provide.
