Home Instead Chelmsford

Wanted to give a great review following Home Instead's taking immense trouble to cover extra care when I had a mastectomy. They coped with changing operation dates and their own staff illnesses to leave me covered at all times. Their staff too rose to the occasion, my regular carer making herself available for pre-operation appointments and even when new carers had to be substituted, they came fully briefed.

I have no hesitation in recommending Home Instead to anyone in need of care in the home.

Excellent service provided with care and compassion always used. The office are efficient and friendly. The carers are reliable, trustworthy and have the interests of my father at the heart of all they do with him.

My Mum, who wanted to stay independent and in her own home, was beginning to need assistance with personal care and preparation of meals, but was reluctant to think of help outside of her family! But when I couldn't give any more and asked Home Instead to help, 4 mornings a week at first, building up steadily over 3 amazing years to 3 carers a day, Mum's quality of living has improved so much and is kept safe and contented in the home she loves! Her carers are her friends! They care for Mum with compassion and kindness as if she were family! They also keep an eye on us, her family, working together to enable Mum to enjoy her latter years and giving us peace of mind!

Home Instead have provided twice daily visits, care, support and company to my parents since January 2O20 to present date. I have been unfailingly impressed with both the administration and the practical day to day service. Every carer has been kind, attentive and fully compliant with covid precautions when dealing with extremely vulnerable people. I turned to Home Instead after a personal recommendation from another client and am pleased to endorse that recommendation to others.

The engagement of the local manager in coming to meet my Mother and me was super - very respectful that my Mother, in fact, did NOT want any 'company' or support around the house - very attentive to my Mum, what she said and what she was interested in, forming a great impression (with my Mum, as well as me!)

The manager was able to articulate the benefits and range of services on offer - and it quickly became clear how much MORE independent my Mum could be with a visit from the Carers...

I live a long way away / overseas and so knowing the Carer is visiting gives me eyes and ears 'on the ground' - and having met the manager and senior carer, I feel very connected to the service and they keep me informed of any issues at home.

I have found Home Instead to be the best care providers I have used. They are caring and efficient. There are regular client check-ups and whenever I have needed to contact the office they are so very kind and helpful. They will always do their utmost to accommodate when a change in the schedule is needed. Really have been happy with this care.

We started using Home Instead Senior Care (Chelmsford) about 4 months ago for my mother with dementia. I cannot speak highly enough of the carers whom we have regular contact with. They have supported Mum and have given us greater peace of mind. If there is ever an issue they will always contact us to inform or chat things through with us. The office are also a great customer focused resource and their response to queries or requests are fast and we feel that they will always try to accommodate our requests no matter how last minute they are. I would not have any hesitation in recommending them if you have a loved one in need of care and support.

The company has provided care for my mother for the last two years, and she now requires additional care due to an amputation. Overall, the staff and the service they provide is excellent.

Home Instead stepped up to the request and fulfilled both her and our needs. This support enabled my aunt to gain confidence and get back on her feet. They have also shown great patience when my aunt herself takes over the reins and requests changes at short notice.

My father has been a client with Home Instead Senior Care (Chelmsford) for two years now. The care he has received has been consistently excellent. All the care givers have been professional and very accommodating to his changing needs. They have allowed him to stay in his own home which is what he still wishes to do. The management is also excellent, always helpful and happy to discuss any new request we may have and they are completely reliable, which is so important, we know that someone will always be there when they are supposed to be. We feel very fortunate that dad is in their capable hands.

Home Instead has consistently taken care to match the CareGivers to my Dad's changing needs. It has always been easy to adjust the care package so that his needs are met and all of the CareGivers we've encountered have been caring and thoughtful, thorough and efficient. My Dad, who has Alzheimer's, isn't always an easy person to care for but the CareGivers are skilled and well-able to manage him.

The care that the whole Home Instead team gave my mum and myself was exceptional. The carers treated my beloved mother with the utmost care and total respect. They listened to me with regards to how Mum liked things and the office staff always tried hard to accommodate any changes. One of the best features for me is that you knew they would spend a minimum of an hour with the client, ensuring that they didn't need to rush in and out when on a care visit. That feature is invaluable especially when it comes to people with Alzheimer's. The carers were also insured to take Mum to her clubs and weekly shopping trip. This is very rare, but absolutely brilliant as it enabled Mum to continue to be active and have a good social life. I cannot thank them enough for all of their hard work. I would definitely highly recommend them. Can't praise them enough. Many thanks indeed.

Would recommend Home Instead Senior Care (Chelmsford) as the care is of the utmost. They take the time to listen. Not only to my mother who is the client but to me as her next of kin. Good value for money and extremely professional.

Having unsuccessfully used two agencies previously for my 90-year-old father with dementia, I contacted Home Instead and have been so pleased with their service. The carers are punctual, reliable and very professional. My father is well looked after and although he can be very difficult at times they have all been very patient and understanding. I recommend this organisation to anyone looking for carers.
