I cannot recommend Magic Helping Hands highly enough. I first spoke with Ruby, who I understand is a manager and care coordinator, when we were facing the loss of our previous care agency due to staff shortages. Ruby was incredibly kind, understanding and reassuring, and gave me confidence that MHH would be able to meet all of my wife's needs.
We have now been with Magic Helping Hands for just over six months, and the transition was remarkably smooth. Our full-time live-in carer, Lara, has been absolutely amazing. She has settled into our home wonderfully and has become not only a fantastic carer and a great friend to my wife, but also a tremendous support to me.
The care, compassion and understanding we have received have made such a positive difference to both of us. We are extremely grateful to Ruby, Lara and the whole team at Magic Helping Hands.

My mum has dementia and has had live-in care since March 2025. This has helped by keeping her in her own home and also someone living in her house has made it easier for me as a daughter. She now has the company she needs and the carers make sure she eats + drinks properly. I cannot fault all the carers who have been to look after mum. They have all been friendly and have mum's interests at heart. The office has been great when I have needed to email with any queries/updates. They reply promptly, or if they can't reply straight away they will say when someone will get back to me.

I wrote a review when Mum first started receiving care from Magic Helping Hands in 2021. Since her latest discharge from hospital last week, she has an enhanced care package. She is very content and well cared for and has 5 to 6 regular carers. She writes down their names so she can try and remember them. Every one of them couldn’t be kinder or more caring, helping her feel very loved which is so important for her recovery. For us, it is also very reassuring to know she is in safe hands when we are not around. We work well with the care coordinator who is also very caring, and the carers themselves contact me if they have any concerns and they are extremely helpful when an emergency arises.

My dad has been in and out of hospital since November 2021 and has had several care companies looking after him, who have let him down on many occasions, but finally, he has found Magic Helping Hands. They are caring, always turn up, not once have they let him down, every carer is very compassionate and they really have made sure my dad is safe and has everything he needs before they leave. The carer has been so good to my dad and he feels really comfortable when the carer cares for him. All the carers my dad has had are excellent, every need is taken care of.
The staff are so lovely and they keep you updated on anything that you may be worried about, it's so nice to actually talk to management, which is so rare nowadays. So a really big thank you for care and compassion. Please pass our thanks on to all the lovely staff at Magic Helping Hands, keep up your exceptional work, it is very much appreciated.
