We initially contacted Home Instead to discuss providing care for Mum to allow us to go on holiday. Mum was adamant that she didn't want anyone coming into her home. The Care Manager was extremely helpful and came to discuss options with us. A dedicated carer was allocated and introduced to Mum with
days and times agreed. On returning from holiday we have continued to use this service as Mum is now happy and confident about them coming into her home.
The great benefit is that Mum has a dedicated carer allowing a good rapport to be built up and she enjoys the company and chats. All work carried out is to the highest standard and the online reviews after each visit allows us to know what has been done and how Mum was during the visit.
As sole carers this service has provided us with more freedom knowing that her needs are being well cared for.
All staff have been extremely helpful and professional meeting our needs and providing support.
Thanks to all staff. We would have no hesitation

Fabulous service for my dad who has Alzheimers. Split between 2 consistent carers they come in for 1 hour each day for evening meal preparation and some household chores. A great rapport and trust has been built up really quickly between both my dad and me. Two way easy communication with both the
carers and the office. The App is also great for knowing what had happened on each visit.

The Lanarkshire team led by the manager are wonderful. They're all friendly and always happy to help. They have been a God send. We have been using them since last July to help support our learning disabled brother after an operation. We were a bit unsure if this would work, but, we did not need to
worry - The manager and her team have been amazing. So much so, that once he had recovered from the Op, we have kept the connection with Home Instead going and they provide a wonderful companion service for him every second Sunday, which he loves. I can rest, knowing he has the company and interaction that he needs and builds his confidence as it is his friends he is going out with not "just his sister" . In March, my sister and I were able to go on holiday knowing my brother would be seeing a friendly faces while we were away.


I have recommend them to all my friends - quite a few now are finding life a lot more manageable with the help of Home Instead.

In general, over the last year, the service provided has been satisfactory and with the friendly caring staff.
I would comment that due to the schedules involved, the time committed to the customer can be curtailed because of the need to get from one client to the next in general.

The Home Instead team have been a fantastic support to my mum who has Alzheimers. Her carer visits two times each week to help with shopping, cleaning and companionship. The same carer comes on a regular basis and this consistency has been really important for mum to build trust and confidence. She
is very comfortable with the team and we have been delighted with the standard of service and care. Communication with the office is excellent and there are regular reviews of performance. I would highly recommend Home Instead.

We have had care support from Home Instead for the past year. Our requirement was someone to provide companionship for my wife, who has dementia, giving me the chance to leave the house to deal with family business. Their website says that a carer will be chosen "to ensure a meaningful bond is created"
and this objective has been fully met by the young lady who has visited us two or three times each week.
The team at our local franchise is not large and it has been easy for me to get to know, and be known by, the office staff as well as the carers.

I recently discussed the need to increase mums visits. Within 2 weeks mum had a package that meets her needs.
She has 2 carers who provide an hour in the morning to help with personal care and one in the evening to help with meal preparation and ensure the house is safe and secure.
Both carers are
considerate of mums values They are friendly, confident, supportive and mum looks forward to their visits.
Mum is stronger and coping well at home following a recent hospital admission.

Home Instead have been supporting my Mother now for 10 months and it has all worked very well. Largely companionship and support and a short walk all as agreed in her support plan. The staff have all been excellent and all communication and handovers have been well organised. My Mother now looks forward
to the visits and to the various chats she gets with the staff.
Thank you to all of the team for helping me to continue to care for and support my Mother at home.

It's almost 1yr since we have been using Home Instead to assist my father with his day to day living in Hamilton Lanarkshire.
I can honestly say, since the initial visit of the care team to assess his needs and care required, the Lanarkshire team have been fantastic (certain individuals outstanding)
in their overall approach and application to the care and companionship they provide. Everyone seems to be very professional and friendly, so any Issues, concerns or tweaks to the care provided are easily discussed and implemented.
The help and reassurance they provide for my father and extended family is worth every penny.

The staff from Home Instead South Lanarkshire have been supporting my dad for about 10 months now and their input has been invaluable. The carers now feel part of the family and how they interact with my dad is lovely to see. We have found them caring and supportive of him and us. The staff are professional,

Started last Sept to use this Care provider to help with care for my Dad - very pleased with the care and support provided, in particular the details added to the app which puts my mind at ease when I can't be there. Have piece of mind when the cares are attending on mum all of the staff have been very caring and attentive to her and have been very aware off her needs and what is needed on a daily basis. They always complete the file and let me know how the visit went, how Mum was on the visit what they have done
or left for her.

The level of care my mum receives is excellent and I can always call if I need any advice or if anything changes.

I'm pleased with the care provided by the staff are all lovely. Communication could be better when there are changes in carers coming to my home. Also, as I have the carers in for companionship it would be better if they were more compatible with my interests and slightly older. Overall, I am very pleased

Professional service from the first call, initial meeting and now weekly visits for befriending reasons. Staff are always on time, polite and offer a personal touch.
