Overall Experience

Home Instead have been a wonderful support for mum. I love the fact it's a small team and each member got to know mums personality with all the quirks associated with Alzheimer's. Every one of the care team treated mum with respect, were really friendly & lovely with her, had cups of tea and a

chat and made sure she was safe in her own home.

Overall Experience

Mum has had support from the team at home instead for a while now, but recently I wasn't able to be around as much as usual. Mum's team have been amazing. They are always super, but they really have gone above and beyond over the past couple of weeks. I cannot say how much I have appreciated their care,

compassion and support providing for mum's needs. Simply the best.

Overall Experience

We cannot speak highly enough of the exceptional care and companionship provided by Home Instead. We reached out to them after several recommendations and we haven't been disappointed.

The companionship provided by our carer is warm, attentive, and thoughtful. It was clear from the beginning that

the agency took the time to understand not just Mum's needs, but also her personality and interests. This has made all the difference - what began as a service is becoming a meaningful friendship that brings joy and reassurance to our family.

Weekly visits are filled with conversations, walks, small outings and little jobs. Our carer has patience, empathy, and a sincere desire to connect - traits that are truly invaluable in this
line of work.

Overall Experience

During the .o th my father was found on the floor of his flat when his HI care pro went for his lunchtime visit. She quickly reacted, made him comfortable and called emergency services. HI remained present throughout until I could attend and takeover, but still kept in touch during the short trip to

hospital, then arranged his care pros to visit him there during his stay.
The whole HI team in the office and on the ground seem to know Dad's circumstances and all treat his care as if he were a member of their family. I can't praise them enough, special thanks to Ka-Mun who acted so swiftly and responsibly.

Overall Experience

When the first carer arrived to help my mum, it was like an angel had come to our door. In our most difficult hours, the whole Home Instead team were a huge help to Mum and to the rest of our family. They gave her support, care and dignity and provided myself and my dad with some much-needed respite.

They couldn't have been a warmer, more comfortable presence in the house. Everyone we interacted with at Home Instead South Manchester was brilliant from our very first contact. I felt they were there to look after all of us, not just Mum. I would recommend them to anyone who needed help. Thank you so much.

Overall Experience

My mum suffered a fall on Sunday 5 May and was admitted to hospital in the early hours of Monday 6 May. The Home Instead carers were able to change their home visits to hospital visits and helping with feeding and personal care as there weren't enough NHS staff to help with this. My mum certainly appreciated

their support.
After a 12-day stay, Mum was discharged from hospital at very short notice on Friday 17 May. The Home Instead Team were able to assess Mum and get the home visits reinstated very quickly and were also instrumental in getting a hospital bed, commode and chair provided by the GP/Occupational Health.
My Mum has been a client of Home Instead for many years. She has a regular team of carers who she knows well and trusts. They provide excellent care and companionship. They've certainly made things easier for my brother who lives with my Mum.

Home Instead have been instrumental in allowing my brother to remain in his own home. He has a regular team of carers which means they have got to know and understand my brother. As a result, he feels very much happier and more confident. Communication within the team and with me is excellent, so any

I am so grateful to Home Instead for their wonderful care and kindness to my gran this last year and a half. The whole team is brilliant - we can't stress enough how much we have valued this support. My gran (who is 98 years old) has loved the companionship and the carers have helped in so many ways

- from helping her continue to get out, taking her out for coffee and trips to the park - which she has really loved. It's really kept her spirits up! My gran has vascular dementia and everyone at Home Instead has gone above and beyond to support not only my gran but me and my family too. As things got more difficult these last few months, Home Instead were able to provide extra visits at the last minute which we were so appreciative of. They're an amazing team, so kind and compassionate. We're really going to miss them and would thoroughly recommend them!

Overall Experience

After being in hospital in June 2023 my mum returned home unable to walk. Home instead came in and we’re able to support Mum in her desire to remain in her own home. They supported Mum with kindness and dignity. The staff encouraged Mum to eat and drink, sitting with her and chatting with her always

smiling. The team was consistent, on time and made sure Mum and her home were kept clean, this was very important to my mum. As mum declined and she had to be cared for in bed they continued to keep her comfortable. They listened to our needs and made an effort to find out who Mum was as person not just a patient.
They also supported me as my mum declined over the weeks until she passed away. For me communication was so important and this was excellent. I felt at times they were caring for me just as much as Mum.
Due to the support received by Home instead, my mum in her 90’s was able to die with dignity in her own home surrounded by her family.

My husband and I are so grateful for the care and attention given to my mother-in-law who has dementia, nothing is too much trouble for them her life has been transformed with the help they have given her, we would recommend them to everyone who needs that care at home we cannot thank them enough.

Overall Experience

It's been a really difficult few years for my friend. He has no real support and his family doesn't really pay much attention. He has slowly succumbed to not going anywhere and losing all interest in things that he used to love due to having dementia and absolutely no memory. The carers from Home Instead

have supported him in more ways than I can say. They help him maintain his dignity with his personal care even though this has been a struggle, keep his home tidy and manageable and they have managed to get him out and about again after four long years of being isolated. They have made a real difference and I can rest easy knowing that he has a team of dedicated professionals looking after him. I would recommend Home Instead to anyone thinking of getting carers for their loved one.

I have nothing but praise for the care workers that come into my mum's home. They all go above and beyond to help her, even though, because of her dementia she can be difficult at times. The impact of the care has made my life less stressful knowing my mum is well cared for and has given my mum the

ability to stay in her own home, living independently as possible, for as long as she can, which is what she wants. Nothing is too much trouble for the whole team - including the office - and, knowing they keep me informed of anything of concern is reassuring. Being able to access her care notes online is brilliant as I can see what has happened throughout her day and the app that links all her carers, office staff and family is a big asset keeping everyone in contact and being able to share messages. I would recommend them 100%.

Having read the reviews on this company I recommended them to my friend/neighbour. Home Instead (South Manchester/North Trafford) have now become valuable companions for my neighbour and have given her not only her independence back but have boosted her confidence too. The caregivers for my father are exceptional. I cannot speak highly enough about the love and attention they give him and the security this gives me about how safe he is and how well he is looked after. They have a really great camaraderie with him and give him fabulous friendship as well as looking

Overall Experience

It has been a godsend to find support for my mum through Home Instead. The staff have taken time to build trust with her so she is now accepting of the extra care she needs at this point. They are kind, sensitive, funny and always professional. They also make time to check in with me so we are approaching

things with consistency. I can see that we will need more input in due course and I feel confident that Home Instead will enable my mum to stay in her own home and receive the care she needs.
