Home Instead High Peak specialise in the provision of quality care support at home for adults. Services are extremely flexible and range from support for a few hours a day to 24 hour care. Also providing specialist services, which include Alzheimer’s and Dementia care. Through regular reviews and close contact with clients and their families care can adapt to the changing needs of the individual. Continuity of care is paramount, to ensure strong relationships are established.

All Care Professionals are carefully selected and have a enhanced DBS check. Home Instead Care Professionals receive specialist ongoing training. Care Professionals do not wear uniform as this can create a barrier, particularly when a Care Professional accompanies a client out into the community.

Carers are not always very good at cleaning, for example, removing bin bag but never washing the bin out and even when asked, somehow manage to avoid ironing.

We have been really grateful for and impressed with the care provided to our 95-year-old dad at home. The whole process of assessment all the way through to an agreed care plan and service agreement was smooth and uncomplicated. The daily care received was all that we hoped for, the carers who treated
him with kindness, dignity and concern. Always punctual and extremely hard working, the management team have also been very understanding with his extended stay in hospital and flexible and accommodating of arrangments at short notice. Many thanks.

Home Instead cared for my mum for almost 3 years, the carers were always reliable with their timings. Having the rota meant we knew when and who would be visiting. The carers were always thoughtful and sensitive. Communication was always excellent. I would recommend their services to family and friends.

We needed some extra help for our father whilst he stayed with us for a few months and a member of staff from the High Peak branch arranged it quickly and at short notice.
We couldn’t have been more pleased, both with the service we received when making the arrangements and with the care and attention
given during the actual visits. He was seen by a few different carers, all of whom were lovely.

My parents used Home Instead (High Peak) branch from 2020-2023. From start to finish they were extremely good on all fronts - the management and office were approachable, flexible, available and professional. The caregivers were all very caring, gentle, considerate, respectful, resourceful and companionable.
They stayed the full amount of time they were scheduled for. I trusted Home Instead with the care of my parents and I am in no doubt that they enriched and prolonged my parents’ lives. They may perhaps be more expensive than other companies but the level of care received was excellent.

During my husband's short, end-of-life care Home Instead were our saviours. They allowed us to be able to spend quality time with him instead of having to be his carers. Nothing was too much trouble and the care and dignity my husband received were outstanding. They supported the whole family and were
always available to offer support and advice. I really don't think I could have coped without them. I cannot recommend this company enough.

My gran has a regular carer, who she and my family can't praise enough; she goes above and beyond and does all she can to make my gran's life as comfortable as possible. She treats her with the utmost respect. I just want to

The carers from Home Instead (High Peak) were brilliant. My husband was dying from Prostate Cancer; they cheered us up and provided professional support and kindness. We couldn't have coped without them. I want to thank them from the bottom of my heart. It's just a pity I didn't see them after he died.

The care provided by Home Instead High Peak to my Mum during the last seven months of her life when she moved in with me, was first class. Physically, the standard of her care was provided to a very professional level. On a personal level she was always treated with compassion, dignity and respect but
she also enjoyed her chats and a laugh with too. Mum often accompanied her goodbyes with the phrase, You do me good! Her mood was visibly lifted by her visits from carers. It helped Mum enormously but it also helped me so much too. I could not have managed to look after her at home alone without the support of her carers.

I live far from my Dad and have been very thankful for the reliable carers from Home Instead High Peak. In April 2021, we began with 4 visits (briefly also overnight care). The office was very accommodating, I was able to include fixed tasks (eg laundry, bedding change, shower, shaving, weighing) on
certain days. Carer checked off tasks and commented on care given at each visit, all visible to me via online portal. I was able to see in real time how my father was doing. Carers were also available to take him out (eg appointments), drop off samples at doctors, pick up shopping, as well as the usual meal preparation and cleaning, etc. The office had access to Dad's doctor and was able to get answers when I often couldn't. As Dad improved, we had just one morning call. The service remained excellent. Dad generally had two regular carers, one in particular was his favourite, who he particularly liked and who worked very hard.
I highly recommend Home Instead High Peak for an excellent care service. Thank you very much.
