The care I receive from Home Instead (High Peak) is very good. The carers are respectful of my needs and are respectful of my needs and make me feel safe and comfortable. The office staff are easily accessible and amenable. They help me if I have a concern.
Staff are good, but a smaller number of regulars would be preferable.
During my husband's short, end-of-life care Home Instead were our saviours. They allowed us to be able to spend quality time with him instead of having to be his carers. Nothing was too much trouble and the care and dignity my husband received were outstanding. They supported the whole family and were always available to offer support and advice. I really don't think I could have coped without them. I cannot recommend this company enough.
It was our privilege to support your husband, the whole team of Care Professionals admired both his and your dignity in dealing with such tragedy.
My gran has a regular carer, who she and my family can't praise enough; she goes above and beyond and does all she can to make my gran's life as comfortable as possible. She treats her with the utmost respect. I just want to praise her for her exceptional work and the support from the rest of the team.
With special thanks to her regular carer.
Keep up the good work!
It's great to hear that Grandma is receiving the best support possible from our team and that she has built such a good relationship with her regular Care Professional.
The carers from Home Instead (High Peak) were brilliant. My husband was dying from Prostate Cancer; they cheered us up and provided professional support and kindness. We couldn't have coped without them. I want to thank them from the bottom of my heart. It's just a pity I didn't see them after he died.
We knew that we were in safe hands.
The care provided by Home Instead High Peak to my Mum during the last seven months of her life when she moved in with me, was first class. Physically, the standard of her care was provided to a very professional level. On a personal level she was always treated with compassion, dignity and respect but she also enjoyed her chats and a laugh with too. Mum often accompanied her goodbyes with the phrase, You do me good! Her mood was visibly lifted by her visits from carers. It helped Mum enormously but it also helped me so much too. I could not have managed to look after her at home alone without the support of her carers.
I highly recommend Home Instead High Peak for an excellent care service. Thank you very much.
Thank you for your kind comments which will be passed on to the team who supported Dad.
We as a family cannot thank Home Instead enough as individual carers and as an organisation for all they did practically and emotionally to support my mum during her final weeks. they respected her dignity, spent time with her as a person and completed a wide range of domestic duties with compassion and care. When other organisations could not even sort a "slip sheet" Home Instead sent in the cavalry, we are truly grateful! The app was so useful when I was not on-site to monitor and support.
Been clients of Home Instead for three years. All contact has been friendly and very professional. Have very few complaints and would use the service again if needed.
Very helpful and great with my mother.
Home Instead are fabulous caregivers. My father appears to be satisfied with the support he gets. If I need any extra days' support for my father Home Instead accommodate this. I would highly recommend them.
Just a word of thanks for your kind feedback for the care support for dad. I'll make sure the carers who see him are given the feedback.
My only complaint: please send bills to me, and not my husband. I have requested this lots of times.
Thank you for your kind comments, noted regarding the bills which have now been actioned.
Home Instead provided super support over the last few months in helping care for my elderly mum-in-law. They helped to assess her needs, advised us and put us in touch with occupational therapists. Their staff were always caring and professional in their relationship with us and Mum. I would recommend them to anyone with no hesitation.
The care provided to my aunt has been second-to-none for a very long time now. Long may it continue. The carer has formed a strong bond with my elderly aunt who looks forward to her every visit. Thanks so much!
Carers come at scheduled times.
Some carers are better than others - carers will stay on, or arrange cover if there is a health issue.
Would be better if fewer carers provided the care as my mother's memory isn't as good as it was and she finds it difficult with all the changes.
The team at HQ and those supporting my mum every day are fantastic. The entire team are totally committed to ensuring her very best well being, security and safety. Thank you.
My carers have been invariable on time, polite and generally competent to provide the services required. They are also willing to learn and have assisted in my regaining confidence in my own mobility. I hope to soon to be able to resume independent living but would certainly use Home Instead again if I need help in the future.
At the moment I am not in need of much help - so far able to manage by myself. Once a week, I have a visit from a carer. She and I sometimes walk to the local shop if the weather is good if not, she will take me down in her care, most helpful with the shopping back we come all is put away, pots dried and put into the cupboard. A pot of coffee for both of us and if time, a chat. How lovely.
I am quite satisfied with the care.

Meet the Team (1)
Often, when I visit someone or their family to perform a Care Assessment, I am told that they have found themselves “…lying awake at night worrying about who will care for them or their loved one.” At Home Instead High Peak we want to eliminate those niggling late night worries. When I meet you to structure your Care Plan, I listen carefully to what you need, what you want, what you worry about, and how you identify your desire to remain in your own home. My job, my goal, and my challenge, is to make certain that all the uncertainties are cleared up so you can make the right informed choices. It’s important that you never lose sleep over worries about how you are going to live and enjoy day to day routines and pleasures.
