It is coming up to 2 years since Home Instead have been involved in mum's care and we are extremely satisfied with all aspects. Every member of the team is professional and personable and nothing is too much trouble. Any concerns, queries or changes are always addressed promptly by the managers and regular checks ensure consistency and continuity. The app has also been a good service and provides a thorough record of daily visits- it has been helpful to refer back to for comments about health issues that have changed over time. The carer that has come to mum the longest has built up an excellent relationship and rapport and can lift mum's spirits and have a laugh. She knows how to encourage mum to eat even when she wouldn't do it for us, she is kind and considerate and has become almost part of the family. The two carers who also come from time to time are fantastic too and have their own skill set and are particularly happy and friendly people who keep mum fully engaged.
Management were so professional when we first contacted the agency and we immediately knew that we could trust them to give us the much needed support that we required.
The care/companionship staff members have all been excellent. They are always punctual, extremely polite and very efficient. The standard of care for my husband is fantastic.
On occasions, when I have required extra help, the agency have pulled out all of the stops to ensure that I have got it.
An all round superb care agency.
The carers working with my Mum are professional, friendly, caring, kind and so hard working, they wanted everything to be just right and my Mum to feel comfortable and looked after. Highly recommended care company.
Very professional, reliable and friendly, did a great job off looking after my brother becoming friends with his carer .
Would highly recommend to anybody looking for a care agency .
Home Instead started with my dad in September last year, the company has worked with myself and my dad from the start, training care pro's to suit my dad's needs, Parkinson's disease. This company really does put the clients first. Thank you.
When arranging care for my Mum, I found the Managers attentive, polite and efficient in setting up a meeting between my Mum, myself and Home Instead to discuss our exact needs. The staff have likewise been friendly and efficient, allowing Mum to maintain dignity and to take her time to accept help with tasks like showering which because of her own independence, she would normally be reluctant to accept supervision with. They are careful with safety and security issues, such as documenting medication they have been asked to supervise and always allow Mum choice with the meals and drinks being provided. We are very satisfied and would recommend Home Instead as a Care Provider.
From first contacting Home Instead Burnley, I have been impressed with their professionalism and friendly and flexible approach to caring for my brother who has early-onset Alzheimer's. The companions that they have provided are a perfect match and it is great that they have been able to cater for my brother's interests so that he can continue with his hobbies. It has given me real peace of mind knowing that he is well cared for and that he is able to pursue a range of interests. Working full time myself, the companionship service has been a real godsend and means that the logistics of getting him to and from his daily activities are taken care of by the companion team. The interaction and conversation with the companions are great for my brother and I can see that he has really benefitted.
We were recommended by a nurse who knew we were battling to keep Mum in her own home. Never did we think this level of care in such a professional manner was available. From the first meeting we have had all our expectations exceeded, for the first time in a long time, we know Mum is receiving care from the most genuine, kind, considerate people. Cannot recommend highly enough!
This was challenging as the client was unsure as to what they actually wanted regarding home care or care home.
Home Instead Burnley has been a great support for my mum since her husband died. Mum has dementia and needs help getting dressed, making meals and keeping the house clean. Home Instead is enabling her to maintain independence. Mum enjoys the consistency of the caregivers and considers them to be companions. They carry out their duties to a high standard and are always kind and considerate. If we’ve ever had any questions, concerns or requests these have been dealt with quickly. There are also regular checks from the management to ensure things are going well and as a family, we are invited to be involved in care planning. Would highly recommend them as a service.
I would highly recommend Home Instead as they have given me and my sisters peace of mind as we all live a distance away and we now get a daily report via an app. My father after being resistant now looks forward to his visitors and enjoys their chats and the care they give.
Home Instead Burnley takes pride in delivering the best care and support services to clients who need extra help around the home. I have had the best care pro's over the past year, not only to support my care needs but to be able to share my interests and have a connection with them. This is why Home Instead Burnley strives to pick the best care pros to meet clients' needs and interests.
The personal consistent care and compassion provided by the carers has been life changing for Mum. Enabling her to stay safe at home as she wishes with tailored care specific to her needs in a patient friendly and timely way. This gives me so much peace of mind as her daughter.
I would recommend Home Instead if you need any help at home on a regular or temporary basis, I have found the management team easy to deal with and very responsive, easy to contact too!
Keep up the great work!
Home Instead Burnley Rossendale and Pendle. What can I say? The best care company by far. My mum was lucky enough to be cared for by Home Instead in her own home for the final months of her life until she passed away suddenly on 14 November. You should be very proud of the company you are building. Fabulous absolutely fabulous. I cannot recommend them highly enough. My mum had two main care professionals looking after her care on a daily basis. All attempts were made to keep the same staff where possible as my mum had Alzheimer's. My mum thought the world of you both and also the rest of the team. Thank you all for helping to make my mum feel content and happy.
From the start of our conversations with Home Instead, they were totally focused on the needs and dignity and independence of the client. And throughout the time they were engaged to help this remained the case. They were very responsive to the changes that were needed and adapted to the various changes without making it in any way awkward. We felt lucky to have found you.
From our initial discussion through to the delivery of the companion service - the team were professional, compassionate and solely focused on what was best for my dad. I cannot recommend their services more highly, and would definitely use them again.
I would, if possible, change the evening visit to 8.30 pm as 9.30 pm is a bit late for our meal. You can see from the service as listed below is excellent. I am entirely satisfied.
Bespoke premium homecare dedicated to enabling my independence in my own home and giving help where it is needed. With caring and helpful staff helping me to stay in my own home giving me and my family support and quality of life. All services are tailored to my individual needs and nothing is too much trouble. My family would not have peace of mind without the support they provide. Professional and lovely staff, would highly recommend.
A good quality service. The carer is reliable and always arrives at the specified time. She has built up a very good rapport with my husband who is pleased to see her each time. As he has dementia it is extremely helpful to have the consistency of the same carer apart from days off when he is cared for by a familiar face. he is cared for patiently, kindly and is showered and dressed extremely well. The carer always goes the extra mile to ensure he is comfortable and not used in any way. Communication with management is good. Messages are responded to promptly and resolution is found for any concerns.
