A good quality service. The carer is reliable and always arrives at the specified time. She has built up a very good rapport with my husband who is pleased to see her each time. As he has dementia it is extremely helpful to have the consistency of the same carer apart from days off when he is cared for by a familiar face. he is cared for patiently, kindly and is showered and dressed extremely well. The carer always goes the extra mile to ensure he is comfortable and not used in any way. Communication with management is good. Messages are responded to promptly and resolution is found for any concerns.

Meet the Team (2)

As an owner of Home Instead Burnley, it is my passion to support and provide our local community with the highest standards of person-centred, relationship-led home support, which will enable individuals to live a high-quality life in their homes for as long as possible.
I have worked in Health & Social Care since 2014 and have gained qualifications in the following: NVQ Level 3 Health & Social Care, FdA Health & Social Care and in my final semester of BA (Hons) Health & Applied Social Studies
I live with my Partner, my amazing little girl who is just a bundle of joy and our hamster Poppy. In my spare time, I love to go on family trips and read when I get the chance. I also love to cook and most importantly eat, which is the most exciting part!

As one of the owners of Home Instead Burnley, my primary focus will be to lead the team to provide quality, nurturing and empowering services that will enable people to live in their own homes for as long as they wish.
I have worked in Health & Social Care since 2007 and have gained qualifications in the following: NVQ Level 2 Health & Social Care, NVQ Level 3 Health & Social Care, FdA Health & Social Care, BA (Hons) Health & applied Social Studies.
At home, I live with my husband David and between us, we have five children as well as our cat, Hetty. I love to cook, read, watch Football and Formula 1, spend time with my family and I am passionate about travelling. We’ve had some lovely holidays but one of my favourites to date was travelling the length of Vietnam from Ho Chi Minh in the South to Hanoi in the North.
