The carers provide an excellent service for my dad. They cover lunchtimes and tea times and ensure he has a meal and drinks at these times. They also ensure dad has his medication, empty kitchen bins, washing dad's clothes and provide general companionship. Dad enjoys playing droughts and dominoes with carers. The carers make written notes on a notebook if there is anything I need to know concerning dad. Overall, we're very happy.

I know we will be using them for as long as we need them - thank you all .

What a fantastic team Home Instead are! My Mum had had a fall and broken her hip and pelvis and when she was recovering in hospital she said she wanted to return home with care. We were so lucky to find Home Instead who come every day to Mum and she looks forward to seeing them. She is still quite active so enjoys baking and socialising. She needs help with showering, washing and drying her hair and Homs Instead are so kind and caring with her. They help with washing clothes and light cleaning in the house which is a great help. Mum is delighted she can stay in her own home with their help and they have become great friends too. We highly recommend them!

Home Instead have provided care for my wife for last two years. She has dementia and is immobile. Sometimes, she can be difficult to deal with. I have the greatest respect for all the carers who have dealt with my wife and for the management and administrative support. They are extremely competent, compassionate, friendly, patient and professional. I have been very satisfied with the services provided throughout Home Instead's involvement. I would recommend them to anybody who is seeking a first class.and reliable service.

Home Instead has been providing daily care visits for my father for several years now and without them he would not be able to remain living comfortably in his own home. The carers have become more like family to us and are friendly and efficient. They provide personal care needs, administer medication, prepare meals and ensure household jobs like laundry, making beds and emptying bins are completed. Communication with management is easy and enables us to adjust to ever changing care requirements, such as helping with showering and transport to and from health appointments. The minimum one hour visit allows for interactions between my father and carers to be unrushed and meaningful. My father's mobility is poor and he rarely leaves the house, so he really values seeing a friendly face (who isn't family!) and chatting about topics of interest.

Home Instead helped care for my mother after a serious accident that left her depressed and a shadow of her former self. The team of lovely ladies helped her to regain her confidence and cheeky personality; she always looked forward to their visits. We couldn't have managed without them in what was an extremely difficult year. Their ability to step in and help at short notice was invaluable. Sadly, mum is no longer with us but thanks to their help, our lasting memories of her are ones filled with laughter.

For over two years we have used Home Instead to give me respite due to my wife's dementia. The carers were all most considerate when dealing with my wife. As the dementia worsened my wife began to see some of the females (especially the youngest ones) as a threat and became abusive to one of them. On contacting Home Instead to discuss this they immediately sent males only. This worked well. I, as her husband and main carer was very impressed by the kindness and professionalism shown by all staff.

Over the past five months, my dad's dementia has accelerated quickly and Home Instead have provided exceptional, responsive care at each stage, supporting my dad to live safely at home prior to admission to a care home. The communication with the manager has been excellent throughout and the ability to adapt to the changes in my dad's behaviour (eg arranging a sleep-in carer at short notice) has been a lifesaver. The carers have been extremely professional and caring towards my dad even when his behaviour has deteriorated and I couldn't recommend Home Instead highly enough for providing an outstanding service.

Home Instead have been providing care for my mum for four months now. They visit three times a day to help with personal care, meals and household tasks. All of the carers matched to Mum are lovely and always go above and beyond to make sure she is happy. I like that Mum has a small team around her and it's the same carriers who visit each week, I feel this makes such a big difference in the quality of care delivered. I would fully recommend a care package from Home Instead.

Really impressed with the professional service from Home Instead. My dad has been struggling over the past couple of months with his morning routine like making his bed and setting a healthy breakfast. I made contact and Home Instead arranged to come and see us to discuss some care for my dad in the mornings. We were both put at ease with their approach of providing a regular carer who Dad would get to know and build a relationship with. I just wanted to say what a fantastic job Home Instead has done looking after my mum. The carers came 4 times a day to support with personal care, home help and meals. Absolutely over the moon with Home Instead Lancaster and Morecambe. Arranging the care we needed was seamless, office staff were amazing and very understanding of our needs. On a daily basis the care givers are punctual and go about the visits in a very friendly and professional manner. I just wish we had found Home Instead sooner. Thank you for everything you do.

Not the cheapest option, but an hour was a full hour rather than 45 minutes of care and 15 minutes of travel time.

My mum has a visit in the morning to help with getting ready and to prepare breakfast. The carers are all fantastic and nothing is too much trouble. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Home Instead, a huge weight has been lifted off my shoulders. Thank you.

I contacted Home Instead in August to provide care for my mother who needs support to shower in the morning. They explained would match a small team of their carers to my mother who would come on the same schedule on a weekly basis. All the regular staff who came are great and always willing to do any extra bits Mum needs. Most importantly Mum enjoys their company and looks forward to them visiting. if there are any changes that need to be made due to sickness or holidays the office always gets in touch in advance. Great service would recommend.

I commissioned Home Instead (Lancaster & Morecambe) services to provide care for my Dad who needs help getting up and ready in the morning as well as support with general housework and medication. Excellent service was received right from the initial consultation. The professional approach put Dad at ease with the situation as he was initially very resistant. The staff always turn up at the scheduled time and Dad has got to build up a bond with everybody that visits which is great to see.
