I had a great experience with respite care on a short break in Lytham St Anne's. The support was centred around my wants and needs and Connor was friendly, helpful and made me feel comfortable. I will definitely use Home Instead next time I come to Lytham St Anne's.
Thank you so much for your amazing review. I am happy that we could help you with your recent respite needs and would be happy to help with any future requirements you may have. This positive feedback is essential to help those looking for care decide which care service to trust with their care...
Very happy with the carers that came to help my parents at home. They were all very kind and my parents remember them fondly. The app was useful for keeping updated as I live at a distance. When my parents moved into a care home they visited to clean and tidy the house to a very high standard.
Thank you for your feedback, I am glad that you were very happy with your parents care professionals, we pride ourselves on providing great care by the most amazing people that fit perfectly with each of our clients individual needs. Good, caring support and help. I enjoy the company of the carers and the ability to go out shopping, and their support with my activities. I have, through time, built up friendships and trust with several carers, which is good for my wellbeing. Showing me empathy and respect, and I love to have a fun time with fun carers who have the same sense of humour as I do.
Thank you for your positive feedback, it is heart warming to know that we have had a positive impact on your wellbeing by helping you build long lasting friendships, by matching you with like minded fun, caring and supportive care professionals. Empathy and respect are at the heart of everything we do and it is clear that this shines in your experiences. Kind Regards.
It was a great help being taken to a medical appointment, especially with shopping for another important item. The housework enables me to live in tidiness.
Thank you so much for your thoughtful feedback. We're really pleased to hear that your care professional has been such a great support, and that their help with shopping and appointments and housework has made daily life a bit easier and more comfortable for you. It is always our aim to provide...
It is annoying when the timing of the visits keep changing. The quality of care given by different carers is very variable. I was really unhappy that I was charged double at Christmas for care I did not receive as I had gone into a home for a fortnight.
I am very sorry that you have some concerns around the care that you have received from us here at Home Instead Lytham, Fylde & Wyre. This is not a true reflection of how we operate as a business. We always aim high and how our clients feel about our service is really important to us. I will...
From my first telephone call, I was made to feel that nothing wasn't achievable. Professional, polite, very accommodating. The staff were brilliant with my husband, caring and understanding giving reassurance throughout.

The caregivers not only look after all her practical needs but also support her emotionally. They have without a doubt kept her going and have been fantastic support to me by giving me peace of mind knowing she is well cared for when I'm not there.
She loves telling them her life stories and they genuinely are interested in listening to her making her feel valued at the grand age of 100. They show compassion and really do care about her whilst also doing all the practical tasks required.
Equally the office team are always helpful, efficient and friendly resolving any problems or changes required straight away.
Thank you so much for the lovely review. This kind of feedback really shows us how our care professionals truly help to make a difference to each and every client that we care for and enable people to live independently in their own homes and showcase our person-centred care. Our office team are...
Home Instead are a valued support. Much appreciate the flexibility of tasks, e.g. help in home, going shopping, and particularly visits for health care. My sister enjoys the companionship of all the carers. It helps me as the next of kin to have the Birdie App to receive updates of visits etc. Thank you!
Thank you for the lovely feedback, companionship really does make a difference in our client's lives and is one of the reasons that our care professionals love their job so much. Our app allows all of our care professionals, clients and families to see a snapshot into the care visit, giving essential peace of mind.
The care manager met Mum and I at Mum's house to go through her care plan. All care given is good except the carers never help her put in her hearing aids as requested. The care manager promised this would be addressed.
Thank you for your review, I am sorry to hear that our carers are not attending to your mums hearing aids and this will be addressed with the relevant care team. Any problems at all, please do not hesitate to contact our office team, where we will be happy to help you with any queries as we strive to keep up the high care standards that Home Instead Lytham maintain continuously.
My mum has been very pleased with the service. Other than some initial admin challenges everything has been very good. The carers are all kind and reliable and provide exactly what my mum needs. It makes all the difference and gives Mum the opportunity to live an independent life in her own home. Many Thanks.

Our experienced office team are on hand to solve any queries and with an on-call service, there is always someone available to speak to for any worries or concerns.
Care manager has an excellent understanding of my sister's needs and ensures that her team of carers meet these needs. There is excellent communication between us especially if there are any immediate concerns about her health and well being.

Home Instead really care about their service users they became a part of our lives when our nan needed care at home. They would go above and beyond to help and my nan loved them all. They were there right until the end of my nan's life and I wouldn’t have chosen anyone else.
Thank you for the lovely review. I'm glad we made a difference to your nan and yourself. It was a privilege to be with her through all stages and give her the best possible quality of life.
On the first visit, my nan was so worried about it and nervous about meeting new people so when Home Instead arrived to meet Nan they were very pleasant and within about 15 minutes my nan was so comfortable about having them in her home and was happy to get them to take care of all her needs. Home Instead have been a blessing to my whole family.
Receiving care can be such a daunting thought to anyone so we are pleased that your nan was comfortable quickly and that we have been able to help with all her needs.
Extremely helpful and very professional with everything they do, the amount of time and effort put in is absolutely astounding. Nothing is ever a problem for these guys. Big thanks to the manager who always goes above and beyond.
Thank you, we always strive to do everything we possibly can throughout the whole team. It's lovely when the effort is recognised.
The knowledge and understanding they all brought to using the right methods and techniques to ensure her nutrition and hygiene needs were met, despite quite often, stubborn resistance, kept her as healthy and comfortable as possible.
They also knew exactly when to request medical expertise be brought in and how to get their interactions with her at just the right level to ensure she was included and fully engaged during their visits.
Support and communication for us was also invaluable and I can’t praise this care firm enough.
Thank you for your lovely review. We love hearing how the training we provide is put into practice in real situations and the benefits it brings to clients and families. I am glad we could help during such a difficult time.
I can only thank each of them for the great care they provide for my mum. She is very happy with the care she receives, and that’s what is most important of all.
Thank you very much for your review, we are glad to hear that your Mum is happy with the service and that your mind is at ease. This is the service we strive to provide.
Very happy with the carers. Not so happy with notice period to temporarily suspend - too long notice has to be given.
Thank you for your review, we will take your thoughts on the notice into consideration. Glad you are happy with your carers.
There is a good standard of care and Mum is happy and feels looked after. She enjoys chatting to the staff and feels that they genuinely want to support her needs. When there have been problems they have been quickly addressed by the staff.
Thank you for your lovely review, we're glad your mum is enjoying time with the staff.
She did not wish to go into a residential home so we decided to look at getting her some regular care at home.
At first, she was reluctant with this idea but she is now happy with the caregiving she receives, usually by the same lady who really has become a friend to Mum.
It is a relief and reassuring to us that Mum is having contact with a kind, caring and reliable caregiver who sees her 4 days each week for an hour in the afternoon. When the weather is nice, Mum can ask to go out in the car to enjoy some fresh air on the promenade in a local park or go to the shop. Alternatively, at the moment, she prefers to stay indoors and the caregiver will help her tidy up, read to her or just have a nice chat.
Mum is now 96 years old and continues to want to live at home. So the caregiving services which Home Instead provide are increasingly important.
Amazing service, the care felt really personal and caring but also professional and above and beyond just a job to the carers. Always polite and inclusive to the rest of the family.
Thank you for your lovely review, that is how we strive for family to feel. I will feedback to the team.
