Funding & Fees

  • Hourly Visiting Care Fees: £31.50 – £33.50

£31.50 per hour on weekdays, £33.50 per hour on weekends, 1.5x fee on standard bank holidays and 2x fee on primary bank holidays (eg. Christmas). Clients can opt out of bank holidays. We add a surcharge for mileage which is capped at £2 per visit.

Our first care company supplied many different carers of various abilities, so when the radio advertised care for dementia sufferers, as my wife changed. The change to having 3 primary carers working to set routines improved care dramatically.
You supply care professionals who really care, work to
sound duties, using gentle persuasion, with patience and some style.

Home Instead have provided companionship services to my Wife, who has Alzheimer's, for over two years. The service has been dependable and the team are friendly and caring. They have coped well with the progression of the disease and my Wife has benefited from the time spent with the Carers. Home
Instead gave me confidence that they meet regulatory requirements and that they are motivated by providing outstanding services in the care sector.

I have been using the services of Home Instead for over a year. The service is quite expensive but very informative.
I have the same carer every week (apart from when they are on holiday) and it's nice to see the same person each week.

I am absolutely delighted with the care I have received from Home Instead. Initially, someone from the office visited me to see what help I needed and this is passed on to the carers who follow that plan but are always willing to do any other tasks that crop up. Whenever possible the same girls come
regularly so you get to know them and likewise, they get to know you. If for any reason you have another carer they always shadow the regular one on a visit. so you never have someone you haven't met before. They are always bright and cheerful and I look forward to their visits. They mostly have a car and will take you for appointments which you inform the office about and clear it with them. Yes, I can recommend Home Instead 100%.

Having experienced a decline in the quality of care my father was receiving, we decided to move over to Home Instead. I can safely say it was the right decision. The manager and his team have delivered everything they promised from day 1, and we couldn't be more pleased.

When I was looking for high quality, professional and more than that loving and caring support for both my parents in their own home I did my research and interviewed several companies before as a family deciding that Home Instead were without a doubt the best for us. From my first meeting with one

Can't fault the quality of service provided by Home Instead to my mother.
She's not the easiest person to please but for the most part they managed it very well.
She had illness, hospital and doctors issues in the mix and the carers took it all in their stride.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

I have been with Home Instead for six months now after switching from another service provider. I experienced a stroke/bleed on the brain in 2016 which left me weak on the left-hand side of my body. Consequently, I require assistance with washing, dressing, and preparing food. I have been very impressed
with Home Instead. They began by putting together a detailed care plan which is sensitive to my dignity and needs. They have also ensured that I have a regular carer who is absolutely brilliant and is more than happy to take on extra household tasks that I am incapable of doing myself. When my regular carer takes her holidays, they ensure that I meet any substitute carer beforehand and that the temporary carer is very familiar with my care plan, thus reducing any anxiety. Home Instead responds exceptionally quickly to any queries and are very flexible in regard to changes in my schedule. I, therefore, have no hesitation in recommending their thoroughly professional service to others.

The team have been providing visits to my mum for a year now, the carers are always on time, helpful and provide Mum with the help and companionship she needs due to her anxiety and frailty. I would recommend them without hesitation.

When I first contacted the Bradford Home Instead office they were so friendly & helpful! My dad had fallen in the house and obviously needed some sort of home help but was very reluctant to accept this - after a friendly meeting with the management team at his home we convinced him that we would trial
it first and see how it goes. Within days of making contact with Home Instead, my dad had a carer coming in once a day for an hour - all the carers are great - happy to do anything for my dad and he says he loves them coming now! They take him for a walk, tidy up, prepare meals or food shopping- nothing is too much trouble! I think what he loves most is the company and having a coffee whilst sitting and chatting. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone who wants a carer for their loved ones that actually care about them!

Mum's carers are lovely people always happy to help with anything mum needs, even watering her tomato plants. They help Mum to get the experience of the wider world as she no longer gets out of the house much.

The Bradford Home Instead team are wonderful. They have been looking after my mum, who lives alone and has Alzheimer's, for a few months now. The carers are amazing, they are so patient and considerate with her staff are fantastic in their communication and organisation. They have bent over backwards
to help us and support us through this experience. Could not recommend more highly.
