Home Instead Kirklees

Our family found the Kirklees Home Instead team very helpful and friendly. My 84 year old Dad enjoyed the initial home visit from the manager. She took her time to listen to his needs and was very positive and motivating. He had one hour per week as extra support and company on top of visits from family and his regular cleaner. This relieved the mounting pressure and worry for family members. I found the office staff very professional and informative, during our phone calls. The invoices were sent by e-mail and I paid by bank transfer, which was very straightforward. Dad was visited by the same support worker every time and said she was a hard worker and he enjoyed chatting with her. When he went into hospital, the team were supportive and explained how the service would be paused and then resumed when he was discharged. Our family is very grateful to the team.

From my first call to Home Instead, Huddersfield, they were friendly and professional and after a visit to meet me and mum they soon recruited a team of carers to meet her needs. The care professionals quickly formed warm yet professional relationships with mum and were kind, skilled and supportive during their visits. We knew we were in safe hands. Mum's needs changed very rapidly from the beginning of March, when Home Instead started providing her care, until her death in May. During that time the managers were incredibly responsive to her needs, and to mine, and the changes that needed to be made, were done so efficiently and effectively. The team of care professionals who looked after mum during this time were equally impressive and I was very glad that it was them who cared for mum in her final days. Mum died at home in her own bed which is what she wanted. I feel sure this would not have been possible without the excellent care and support we received from Home Instead.

Home Instead Kirklees have been exceptional in the care provided, easily accessible should the need arise. They took time to ensure the carer was a good fit for the needs of my brother. They have gone above and beyond to ensure exceptional care is provided which gives him and us as a family the peace of mind that the right care package is in place and that delivering this is their priority. We cannot thank the team enough for their genuine commitment and care. Amaara and the team provide a first class service.

I found the care provided was very efficient, caring and understanding of my husband needs. The person who cared for my husband was lovely very helpful and my husband enjoyed been looked after by her. I would certainly use Homecare again, and would recommend the service
