Hello,

My name is Kirstie, and I am delighted to introduce myself as the Mobilisation Manager for Alcedo Care North Yorkshire. I joined Alcedo Care in 2022 and, during my time here, I have gained invaluable experience working within a forward-thinking and people-focused organisation that truly values quality care and community support.

I hold a Level 5 Diploma in Health and Social Care, which has given me a strong foundation in care delivery, management, and best practice standards. In my role as Mobilisation Manager, I am passionate about ensuring that new services are set up smoothly, efficiently, and with the needs of both our clients and staff at the heart of the process. I am particularly excited about supporting the Yorkshire team to expand and develop services across North Yorkshire, ensuring that individuals and families in our communities receive the exceptional care and support that Alcedo Care is known for.

Job Title: Deputy Manager Joined: 2025

Hello, my name is Kirstie,

I am a dedicated and compassionate social care professional with over 22 years of experience in the sector. I began my career delivering care to the elderly before moving into residential support for adults with learning disabilities and complex needs, a field I’ve grown deeply passionate about.

Starting as a Support Worker, I thrived in a hands-on role and quickly progressed through senior positions to Deputy Manager, including a six-month period acting as the Registered Manager. I bring a wealth of frontline and leadership experience, underpinned by a strong commitment to quality care and team development.

I hold NVQ Levels 2, 3, and 4 in Adult Social Care, along with a Level 3 qualification in First Line Management and two advanced apprenticeships — one in adult social care and one in management.

Outside of work, I’m a proud and devoted mum. My daughter is the heart of my life, and I cherish spending my free time with her, especially enjoying beach trips, zoo visits, and her favourite — arts and crafts.
