Home Instead continue to provide an excellent service to my uncle. He moved into a care home six months ago, and we decided to continue the Home Instead visits he was receiving at home. This is because of the great connection between my uncle and his Home Instead visitor, who is brilliant. They have developed a friendship which I know my uncle enjoys. Indeed I know they both enjoy their discussions and it's a strong source of companionship for my uncle. I would highly recommend Home Instead; they are very professional and their staff are superb.

Thanks for this review. The two of them found a great connection and really enjoy each others company. We've been happy to continue the visits in his new home.

I would like to thank all the carers for the excellent care and support they provided to my mum. They were always friendly, kind, and compassionate, treating her with dignity and respect at all times.
The carers regularly went above and beyond to help, taking the time to make sure Mum was comfortable, happy, and well looked after. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and their patience, professionalism, and genuine care made a real difference to both Mum and our family.

We are extremely grateful for everything they did and would highly recommend their service to anyone looking for caring and dedicated support.

Excellent service, very professional and always keep me informed of dad's care and welfare. the continuity of staff is extremely important to us especially with dad's early dementia. The office staff are always there to help with emergencies such as dad's hospital appointments and their monthly lunch meet up is a valuable addition that gets dad out meeting other people. Definitely recommend them!

Kind, caring staff. Very able to accommodate changes in schedule, ie attend appointments and arrange transport. Also very quick to respond to queries and requests, which is important as I do not live nearby. They also have an app where you can get more information about visits.

We contacted homeinstead when we needed to get care in place quickly for my mother in law. She gets two visits a day and loves spending her time with the carers. The carers are fantastic with her - providing the essential bespoke care she needs as well as much needed companionship. It gives her routine and means she can stay in her own home for longer. The office staff and managers are easy to get hold of if we need anything and are always sympathetic to our requests or worries. They have given us peace of mind in very difficult and emotional times. Can't thank or recommend the whole team enough.

Reply from Paul Armstrong, Business Director at Home Instead (Renfrewshire & Barrhead)

Thanks Beth, from the first time we spoke, we wanted to help, and put in place a support plan to allow your mother-in-law to continue to stay in her own home. My father has been a client of Home Instead for several years. They took him to see his wife in the care home and also did his shopping. The carers were all very reliable and treated my dad with the utmost respect.
My dad enjoyed the visits. My fathers health took a rapid decline and I had to increase the carers with hardly any notice. Home Instead stepped up and managed to get carers in immediately who cared for my dad through a difficult period until he went into hospital.
The app was very useful to see what was happening in real time.
All the carers were very kind to dad and always treated him with respect

I would highly recommend Home Instead.

Can't express enough the amazing care and fantastic work from a particular staff member for mum. She is making mums time feel full and interesting , always happy to do things and take her out and about to appointments , socialising and helping at home with cleaning and shopping etc. . All the things that we would be helping mum with day to day but all live too far away. As mums dementia has progressed , all of the staff have supported us and adapted the care as we've needed it Great communication from all of the office team too.

I would 100% recommend

The HomeCare team looked after my elderly mum during the final year of her life. Helping her with meal preparation and providing friendship and support. She benefited hugely from seeing the team - enjoying their company and chat. And the team were brilliant at keeping in touch with me about my mum's health particularly when they noticed she wasn't doing so well. Every single person I dealt with in the team was approachable, friendly, compassionate and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend anyone looking for help with caring for their loved ones to speak to HomeCare.

Everyone is really friendly and the contact is fantastic. Mum seems to be really happy with the girls that are coming in and it lifts her mood. They are all so helpful and are willing to help with housework when they are in attendance for meal prep. The feedback on the app is great as you can see what has happened daily. Contact by message and the app are great.. I am very happy that I have chosen Home Instead as a secondary care team for my mum

Homeinstead carers were excellent. The management at Homeinstead were very helpful. If an issue arose they dealt with it immediately. They kept a small team of carers to deal with my husband who had dementia so change was not good for him, I can't recommend this care company high enough.
