Home Instead provided me with an hour's personal care every morning to help me get washed and dressed. This was arranged through the social work departments. The care was excellent. The staff were efficient and kind. They always offered to do more within the house eg change sheets, prepare a sandwich, sort and put away washing. I would recommend this service.
Thanks for taking the time to write us a review. The team enjoyed visiting you, and helping with whatever extra support you needed at the time. We all hope that the new arrangements work out for you.
The girl that comes to me is very pleasant and helpful. She is very chatty and kind and breaks my day up.
Thanks for taking the time out to provide us with a review. We're happy to help you, and will listen carefully to your specific requests so we can continue to be helpful.
I have a feeling of enormous relief that I now have consistent help at a time that suits our life. Everyone in the Home Instead Senior Care team is friendly, practical, shown care and compassion towards my husband who needs total care and has the same concern for me. All come in time and seem in no hurry to rush things. We are receiving the best care we could wish for.
Thanks for taking the time to write us such a wonderful review. With pride, we'll share your feedback with our team of people. We all feel privileged to be able to support both your husband and the household.
Ab fab! Ever since the initial contact we have been very impressed with the professionalism and approach of ALL the staff at Home Instead. The senior staff who made the initial visit to meet our aunt have ensured that she has been allocated carers with whom she has bonded and who are now welcomed on each visit. The carers themselves have also taken account of her needs and on their visits, apart from preparing meals, they spend time chatting to her and taking part in activities that she enjoys. Because of vascular dementia, our aunt's comprehension and ability to communicate are severely impaired but the carers patiently work with her and regularly try out new games and activities. They are very proactive and will deal with laundry if required as well as shopping for items such as bread, milk etc. We also appreciate the regular off-site reviews with both carers and managers where we can assess and review the care package that is in place and suggest changes that will make it even better.
