Having now had two hours' home care and support daily for 6 weeks, we have nothing but praise for your delightful carers and the organisation itself. My father's physical health is gradually improving and the additional company provided with daily visits has definitely helped his wellbeing. He feels safe, comfortable, respected, in control and this is enormously reassuring both for himself and our family. Hi, my name is Hannah Rootes. I have worked for Home Instead Northampton since August 2020 and have recently joined the Client Experience Team. A big part of my role is that I go and meet new clients and create their Care Plans so that we and our Care Professionals can provide the best level of care possible. When I do this my focus is always, on what our clients want to achieve and what is important to them- our clients are at the centre of everything I do. I have lived in Northampton all my life and have enjoyed growing up here. In my life, I have seen all aspects of care, where before working for Home Instead I cared for the family. Due to this, I use all of my experience as a family member of a loved one needing care and as a Care Professional to ensure all of our Clients receive the best care we can provide.
When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my family, especially my daughter. I also love to read good books and go for a scenic walk where I can take some photographs with my DSLR camera.
I have been in healthcare for 18 years and have loved every minute of it. I have worked with children, young adults, and the elderly, all within Care Homes and Domiciliary settings.
