Home Instead provide professional, caring, carers with a service that is very person centred. H. I's communication with family members is excellent. I especially appreciate the Care Planning App where I can see updates on every visit. Also, I have been able to contact the Care Team supervisor easily, when required, with enquiries/queries dealt with straight away.

It is quite expensive but I do trust everything they do.

Strong communication and duty of care. I am pleased to say that my mother feels at ease and comfortable around her carer and the companionship does help her to stay grounded and alert. The service takes time to understand the individual needs of service users and that also gives relatives reassurance.

We have two regular carers who help Mum get washed and dressed in the morning and chat with her. Mum's got middle stage Alzheimers and a range of other health conditions. The carers are super at helping her to come out of being anxious or down and by the time they're leaving she's happy and smiling despite often having been in the depths of depression just an hour earlier. She enjoys their company and having them to talk to has improved her quality of life. They've also improved my quality of life because I know Mum's being looked well so I don't worry about her and I get some very welcome respite from caring.

All the staff, have been very responsive and the 6 month reviews are really useful to ensure mum is continuing to get the care she needs.

The care professionals with Home Instead are like family. They are willing, friendly, kind and efficient and always professional. If I had any doubts before they have certainly calmed my nerves and have made me at ease with the care provided. Nothing is too much trouble. Not forgetting the talented team in the office who are always at the end of the phone.

The family feel comfortable and assured that the level of service meets our current needs and if there were changes to the level of care required or concerns these would be discussed in a timely fashion.

My dad receives care twice a week, and I am genuinely delighted with the service. He enjoys attending and gets exactly what he needs. The care team demonstrates real compassion and commitment. What has impressed me most is how they have adapted to his evolving needs. Rather than maintaining a fixed approach, they have genuinely responded to feedback and service preferences, adjusting their delivery accordingly. My mum was recently diagnosed with early dementia at 88,you know things are changing but don't want to admit as her daughter you can't cope. I was at mums every day doing all the things she couldn't do but I knew I needed a day off .Home instead west Fife and Kinross were recommended to me by a care home making that call was one of the hardest things I have ever done , the care manager was so lovely and understanding and made an appointment to come out and see us.The meeting went well and the team were so supportive and helpful I knew I had made the right decision. We set up a care plan for 1day a week to have carer come to give mum some companionship and make her a hot meal. Mum was a bit tearful at first and insisted she could manage herself but we are now 4month on and she has got to know the carers and looks forward to her "day off". What I like is new carers are introduced by the care manager, every one of the team have been excellent with mum she is well looked after thank you.

The service is expensive but the service reflects the cost.

My mum at 89 was very reluctant to receive any additional support despite significant and deteriorating mobility issues. The Home Instead West Fife team have been extremely patient and understanding in giving her the confidence to accept their help whilst allowing her to maintain a feeling of independence which is so important to her. They are an amazing team who not only listen but genuinely understand the fears and anxieties of their clients. They also truly understand the difficulties of elderly care from the family's perspective. I would not hesitate to recommend Rachel and her team and feel very lucky to have them in our area.

We use Home Instead on a regular basis for a couple of hours a week but occasionally for longer. The staff are always professional and courteous. They have tried to provide interesting activities for my husband. Senior staff always come along to introduce new staff members and find replacements where needed.

All of the staff at Home Instead have made a huge difference to the lives of my parents. Initially we were looking for care for my Dad who had Dementia and was becoming more of a worry for my mum to manage on her own. The carers not only supported my Dad but were also there to help my Mum who was his main carer. They supported with medication, housework, meals and companionship. Since my Dad was taken into hospital as his condition worsened, they have continued to provide valuable support to my Mum who enjoys their visits every day, their help with her own medication and jobs around the house that she now finds difficult herself. All staff take this role very seriously and thorough checks are in place to ensure medication is administered appropriately. The girls who visit always have time to chat and are genuinely interested in supporting Mum. I would highly recommend this company and their carers if you are looking for support for yourself or a family member in their own home.

Mum's wish is to stay at home so having had Home Instead recommended to us, we met up to discuss mum's needs. Wow! From the first meeting we have been blown away by the level of care that is provided for mum - started within a week of meeting. It's very clear that Every Single Person at Home Instead West Fife & Kinross cares. Mum's team are incredible - just completely lovely in the way they talk to mum and look after her every need, with kindness, compassion, empathy and fun. Each member of mum's team has been matched with her and when we meet them at mum's, it's like having a friend round - we can't believe how lucky we are! It's so reassuring for us, as we don't live near mum so can't be there everyday. Knowing that she is clean, safe, comfortable and has stimulating company a few hours every day has been a weight off our shoulders. We cannot recommend Home Instead West Fife & Kinross highly enough.They really do go above and beyond the call of duty, thank you so much.

The staff in the office have all been amazing, incredibly supportive, friendly, compassionate and nothing is too much trouble for them, even at short notice. Communication is excellent. I live a distance from dad, so Home Instead have provided peace of mind that dad is being well looked after. I can't thank Home Instead enough! I would definitely recommend Home Instead 100%! Home Instead (West Fife and Kinross) have been absolutely wonderful in the care and support they have consistently provided my mum (and therefore also me!) over the last few years. Their input and services have allowed my mum to continue to live, happily and safely, in her own home. The care givers have been fantastic, providing excellent personal care, as well as fun and stimulating companionship. The consistency has allowed my mum and I to get to know them and build great relationships. The team in the office have also been absolutely fantastic - lovely, friendly and supportive, and in my experience they always go the extra mile to provide help and support. Overall the whole Home Instead team have provided an extremely high level of service and care. They have always been very reliable and communicative, which is so important. Would 100% recommend!
