The staff at Home Instead are excellent and they do a very good job at looking after mum. They make her lunch for her and will do any jobs she asks them to do. The service is particularly useful when im on holiday because I know there will be someone calling in to check on mum at least twice a week.

I now have the ladies from Home Instead coming in once a week to help with showering and some light housework. This gives my daughter a break but she knows I'm in safe, friendly hands. The ladies are all helpful and thoughtful, willing to help and good fun. Best idea I have had to ask them to return on a regular basis.

I have nothing but praise for Home Instead (Mid Cornwall). As Dad's sole carer, when I had an accident and broke my ankle, I was so worried about how we would manage. I completed the enquiry form on the Home Instead web site on a Saturday afternoon and Patrick called me straight back despite being on holiday himself! A care package was put in place the following week and it was such a relief all round. The team were all reliable, efficient and caring. Dad was introduced to each new carer in turn which was very reassuring. Each individual carer brought a breath of fresh air into the house with their cheerful manner. The care plan was tailored to Dad's changing needs. When he was admitted into a hospital, a 40 minute drive away from his home, arrangements were made for his familiar carers to visit him. I highly recommend Home Instead (Mid Cornwall), they truly provide outstanding care in every way.

My only disappointment was that on the morning of our return, we were advised that medication had not been given that morning. Although this was caused by an error on our side (medication was left in sleeve but removed from prescription box), it was still given on the other days, causing us confusion about the policy.

Home Instead have been wonderful in the first few weeks of their service. The team in the office are friendly and responsive, they have made working with them easy. The Care Professionals who work in our service are a credit to themselves and to Home Instead. We have quickly established a small team who visit, and they are so kind, respectful and patient. They get to know their clients, and engage them so brilliantly. I honestly cannot praise the carers highly enough.

Sam is predominantly the Home carer for my mum who has nothing but glowing reports about her. It's very reassuring to know that my mum is settled and looks forward to Sam's visits. Excellent care package, mam treated with dignity and respect, carers are very attentive and willing to spend time with mam giving her companionship. Mam was initially very resistant to having carers and I am very impressed at how the carers have overcome this. Great everyday communication via an app. Carers proactive at suggesting improvements to the care package and supporting the family at a difficult time. I am personally so grateful that we chose Home Instead.
