HomeInstead have been an absolute God send for my Father and myself. The standard of care is exceptional and the support is genuine as they really care for my Father and go above and beyond to look after him. The understand his needs and always put his wellbeing first and foremost. They have provided myself with advice and I have the peace of mind to know my Father is looked after as I live 250 miles away. Thank you all so much
Thanks so much for this review, we appreciate it.
The carers really do care about mum and she is treated with dignity and respect.
They are happy to do extras as well such as putting a wash on and caring for the cat.
Mum is looked after by a small team so she gets to know her carers.
The whole team are always helpful and do their best to help with any queries.
Thanks so much for the feedback - I know the team love helping mum and her cat too! I'll make sure the team see your comments.
Have been using Home Instead for nearly a year and the carers are lovely - respectful considerate and all bring something different to mum' day. She has been able to establish relationships with her regular carers and enjoys their visits enormously.
I'm so delighted that our care professionals are brightening your mum's day. Thanks for this super review, I'll share it with mum's team.
The daily update on the app is invaluable as I am reassured that mums care needs are addressed and we can chage or add tasks easily when required. The care coordinators regularly check in with us in case there are any issues that need addressing.
Mum has an hours visit daily and this has made a real difference to her staying at home and supporting her tokeep as independent as possible.
Thank you to everyone involved - you are really doing a fantastic job!
I'm delighted that you and mum are enjoying our support and that we are helping to keep her living as independently as possible - I'll share this with our whole team - thanks very much! Phil
The staff, both in the office and out visiting, are kind, helpful, patient and professional. They are flexible treating the client with sensitivity giving the family confidence.
I'm delighted that you and your Dad are finding our service beneficial - thanks so much for this lovely review!
I have used Home Instead for seven years, firstly to care for my wife (who eventually died from Alzheimer's) then for myself. The support has been nothing short of marvellous. They manage to recruit excellent staff and control timetables so there is always someone at hand when needed. The care is personal, with the exception of holidays or sickness, the same carer will attend at each regular appointed time. The fees are high but the quality of care justifies it. I would recommend them to anyone seeking support.
Thanks very much for this super review, it was a privilege to care for your late wife and we are lucky to have you as a client! With all best wishes, Phil
Auntie Sue's companions have been lovely, especially Linda. Auntie Sue can get abit confused & it gives me peace of mind to know that somebody is keeping an eye on her, as unfortunately I cannot give her that as I have other commitments.
It's a privilege supporting your Auntie Sue - thanks for the lovely review, we really appreciate it.
In November 2024 Home Instead stepped in at the last minute, to put a care package in place for our mother. Following a short illness, it became apparent our mother needed a daily oversight visit, which we could not provide as my brother and I do not live locally. While anything like this takes time to settle on both sides, Home Instead have been tireless in helping to get things right and listening to feedback. The carers are great and now have a good routine with our mother. The daily updates on the app are invaluable. They enable us to follow up on things with our mother as necessary, from a distance. Our mother's quality of life has improved with Home Instead. We are so grateful she can maintain her much valued independence.
Thanks for your lovely review - it's a real pleasure supporting your mother and to be part of the team helping to promote her independence.
We found the level of care provided was excellent. All staff we dealt with were pleasant and friendly and queries were dealt with very speedily and efficiently. My sister was happy with the service and was very fond of the carers, they became like friends. We would highly recommend Home Instead to anyone seeking care for a loved one. My sister needed to move on with her care as her cognitive condition deteriorated but had this not been the case, I'm confident we would have continued with Home Instead for longer.
Thanks for your review we are very grateful, it was a privilege caring for your sister. Best wishes to you all.
Very good service. Have only used one staff member for a year, but she is excellent. The only criticism is in communicating dates for cancellations seems poor.
Thanks for the lovely "5 star" review - we really appreciate it. We are always looking to communicate as well as possible with clients, so will keep a close eye on this.
They get to know their clients and understand their needs and lifestyles.
We really appreciate this feedback - thank you so much! We will make sure we share it with our team.
We are completely happy with the service you provide and would recommend your firm.
I find all the carers that come to me are brilliant with the helo they give me always on time, they are excellent with anything they do for me.
Home Instead is simply the best care agency I have come across. Due to our circumstances, we had to try several agencies for my elderly mother before we found out about Home Instead. With this agency, my mother feels cared for by the staff who attend to her needs as they spend every minute of the call helping and interacting with her. I'm very impressed.
This review means a great deal to us all at Home Instead, thank you so much, our staff really enjoy interacting and assisting your mother.
Very professional, friendly and supportive service from the first approach through to the implementation of the care plan. Very responsive to the changing needs of my mother, including during an unexpected hospital stay. The care team were all flexible and responsive to requests. Inevitably there are different strengths and knowledge levels amongst the individual carers but with a willingness to learn and provide the best care, we felt my mother was in safe, secure hands and that any communication difficulties could be resolved promptly. We learnt from carers as a family and they listened to us!
Thanks so much for the review - it's great to hear that you found the support flexible, responsive and collaborative.
Very satisfied with the help I am receiving. Very helpful carers.
Thank you for the kind review, I'm delighted that you find your care team very helpful.
There have been times when I’ve required a couple of extra hours of support from them and this has been managed very quickly by the team, without any issues. I can highly recommend them.
Thanks so much for the lovely review, we really enjoy helping your mum and it's great fun to help walk her super dog too. Thanks for your support!
I am very comfortable with the care I receive from my weekly visit. I have the same lady with time who is like one of the family.
Thanks so much for your lovely review, we pride ourselves on offering continuity and it's lovely to hear that your care professional feels like part of your family!
Generally very good - a couple of problems when a carer we had asked not to be sent appeared and another when the carer was late arriving, which the company knew would be happening but I didn't know.
Thanks very much for your review - I have checked with my team and we have rectified the point that you raised. We appreciate your feedback and use it to improve our service. Best wishes to you and your family.
We couldn’t be without this service and it means that my mum can carry on living in her own home for as long as possible.
Best wishes,
Phil Batchelor
