You have provided us with some truly exceptional caregivers, over the many years we've been with you. We sing their praises, their job isn't easy. Always helpful on the phone, managers and schedulers have played their part excellently.

The admin team were empathetic and quick to adapt as far as possible to the changing needs of my mother. Living overseas, I often needed to pass on information or seek reassurance - both were handled quickly and efficiently.

We have been very grateful to the care and support provided by the carers as it made my father in law clean, supported and fresh. The house looked clean and organised when we were away and the carers came and supported dad to live comfortably.

My mum actually gained more confidence during the past month and looked forward to their visits.

The office staff know me well and are always very helpful and supportive if we have any challenges.

I started using Home Instead to help my mother back in October. She needed support to keep her comfortable in her own home when family were not around to help. From the very beginning, I was impressed with the Home Instead team. They came to visit us and talk about what they could do to help, how they could select the team to fit in with my mother and how the scheme could be expanded as my mother's needs changed. When I came back from working overseas in December, I was so happy to see how my mother's quality of life had improved due to the Home Instead team and their hard work. They had helped her with getting meals, keeping the house neat and tidy and looking after herself, all without it feeling like an invasion. I have had to change the care and the administration team were more than accommodating in putting in place the extra care my mother needed, despite all the implications of the pandemic. A big thank you to the carers and the people in the Home Instead Cardiff office.

Home Instead have provided my Grandfather with exceptional care over a number of years since he was widowed, guiding him through bereavement and assisting him to live independently well into his mid-nineties. When the time finally came to move my Grandfather into residential care the whole Home Instead team could not have been more empathetic, supportive, flexible and helpful. His carers went above and beyond our expectations and I cannot speak highly enough of them; they are fantastic. The management team are similarly extremely easy to deal with, responsive and kind. I would not hesitate to recommend Home Instead to anyone looking to care for a loved one at home.

I have had experience of the service Home Instead offers with 4 different clients and I have found Home Instead deliver an excellent standard of care. The Home Instead managers (Office and on-call) are keen to tailor the care to individual needs, are responsive to feedback, are keen to find solutions. The Carers are kind, efficient and responsible.

My father and I are completely satisfied with the care given. The carer who visits my father is friendly and extremely kind. She is happy to help in any way she can and my father enjoys her visits.

Home Instead have been incredible looking after my dad, even under these difficult times the ladies are incredibly caring and friendly and help Dad in every way. They try their best to keep the consistency of the same carer too which is so important to him.

The difference the Home Instead carers have made to my nan is incredible. To know that she has carers vising 3 times a day makes things much easier for the family. We know she is being well looked after. We visit every day too and have met some of the carers and they are all so lovely.

My nan's mental health and memory have improved so much by having regular conversations and interactions with the carers.

Home Instead was the first organisation to provide my mum with secure reliable companionship which was carefully thought through and individualised just for her. I had a call back within hours of my online enquiry and everything just came together. My mum had just two staff who were allocated which means she had continuity. The visits were at least an hour, so never rushed and developed to suit her over a very short time. She is visibly happier than she has been for months and we know she is safe and cared for. Thank you all at Home Instead for making my mum's life happy again.

It is only because of Home Instead that my dad’s wish to stay at home to be cared for is possible. My dad is treated as a person not a patient by the carers who arrive promptly, always with a happy and positive attitude. The health and comfort of my father is always top of their minds and they will go the extra mile. The overall service of Home Instead is very professional and understanding. They have shared concerns with me in a very sensitive way and offered potential solutions. They are very clear about their role and keep my whole family in mind during conversations.
