Overall Experience
I arranged for temporary care following knee replacement surgery to manage the stockings you have to wear post operation. I booked an hour a day for personal care and light household duties. The ladies/girls who came were knd, helpful and nothing was too much trouble.
They did all the jobs I asked them to and gave me their full attention .
They arrived at the arranged time most of the time, however on the few occasions that there were issues,
the office kept me fully informed when carers were running late due to unforseen circumstances. They wre also flexible when I reduced my needs from an hour to 30 minutes a day.

Overall I wiuld not hesitate to recommend them to anyone needing help at home. .

Outstanding service from really friendly staff.
Engaging Home Instead to care for my Mom has given me my life back and I can breathe again.
Nothing is too much trouble and Mom really looks forward to their visits.

Overall Experience
Mum had morning carers from Home Instead for around seven weeks before going into hospital and onwards to residential care. The team allocated to mum was small so mum was quickly able to build a relationship with the ladies who came and got her up daily. Everyone allocated to care for my mum was super friendly and very patient and caring, mum was very slow with everything and she never felt rushed. There was quite a lot to do every morning with mum and all the carers completed the daily task list which was a great relief for me. I found the App very useful as mum's health was declining and I had a concrete record to speak to the GP about the changes.

If mum ever comes home I shall use Home Instead again and would have no hesitation recommending.

Cannot fault the care given to my father by Home Instead. I believe that he genuinely looks forward to the visits and myself and my brother are grateful for the attention and care provided.
Communication is good and we are always made aware of any delays or changes as soon as possible.

I would not hesitate in recommending Home Instead to anyone looking for good care for a loved one.

The carer was a lovely lady and got on massively with my wife - and they had a great time together but equally as important the carer was super professional in her carer duties, she looked after my wife superbly and did all of the household duties

Home instead are fantastic with my gran.
We originally started using them for my grandad but when be went in to a care home we kept them on for my gran.
She loves the girls who visit. Nothing is too much trouble and the office staff always keep me well informed of changes and concerns.
As a fellow care worker I know how much of a difficult job this can be but i know that my gran is safe and looked after by her caregivers.
I sometimes need emergency visits putting in place and they always manage to accommodate them and even manage to keep the same ladies who usually go.

Thanks so much home instead. I'm forever grateful for all you do!

Overall Experience
Provides peace of mind that mom is seeing someone each day, is taking her medication and is being provided with assistance with personal care. Enabling her to go out into the community, shopping and a daycare centre is much appreciated.

Mom responds well to a number of the carers but can be resistant to others. It would be worthwhile exploring the reasons for the differences and identifying any learning points and/or training opportunities.

A superb service. Very friendly and helpful in all communication with the office

who provided whatever care I needed following an accident and also cared for my husband who has dementia. They matched a lovely very friendly caring person with the same interests as my husband which has helped enormously in her befriending role.

Mom really looks forward to the visits and the company the visits provide. Using Home Instead means she can keep some of her independence. All the carers are lovely and we now don't have any worry that she is not eating her lunch.

Mom now visits the dementia club run by home instead and this has become one of her highlights once a fortnight.

Mainly excellent but it would be even better if Mum’s regular group of carers attended to her. I know they have been available on occasions when not ‘picked’ to do the visit. Mum is really happy to see each of them. They know Mum well and also work well together. Mum likes everyone who has attended to her needs but the regular ones know that she’ll always opt out of things without jollying along, they know what food she’ll eat, they know to get food out of the freezer for next time, taking her to and from the cafe, etc.

So I’d ask that she has these carers all the time. I know that this might not always be possible but would ask that this is the exception rather than the rule.

Mom has been having two carer's visit from Home Instead (Walsall & Great Barr) each week for a couple of months. My family and I couldn't praise the individuals or the company highly enough. They have made my Mom's and our lives so much easier and fulfilled. The time, thought and care put in each week with Mom is phenomenal. They have really added value to our family. Absolutely outstanding!

We are really happy with the service, and the carers are always kind and considerate of her needs.
We have had some challenges with her condition and her reluctance to accept help.

Communication is excellent, and the girls are always helpful at the office and when on call.

You know when you have made the right choice in a care giving company, after many years of family members waiting for carers to arrive then wondering just what their role was or simply not turning up at all. I decided that my wife deserved better and if there was a company that delivered then that is the best I can provide.

From initial contact and setting up of a care plan for my wife as well as tweaking to fit with our family needs and my wife's preferences, I made the right choice in Home Instead, flexible, understanding, always a friendly voice on the other end of the phone, hard-working and empathy for their clients is just a few praises I can provide as a way of thank you.

Upon chatting with Home Instead from the very first point, I can’t express just how professional the staff were on helping us compile a care plan for my 84-year-old father in law. He has been very reluctant to agree to assistance. However, the lovely ladies that see to him have put him at ease and made him feel comfortable in his own surroundings. The standard of care provided is to the absolute maximum level and any concerns either way are dealt with immediately. The open communication and reliability has been amazing. My father in law is clean, dry, fed, and comfortable. The carers interact with Dad and put him at ease. To the point where he wants them to now helping him. If you need professional hands-on brilliant care. Home Instead would definitely be the people I’d be calling again and again. Thank you for putting our family at ease and helping care for the most important person in our lives.

Home Instead Walsall has been absolutely brilliant in caring for my mom and dad. The caregivers have always been punctual and have undertaken any jobs asked of them. They have gone above and beyond to interest my mom with a variety of activities including baking, craft and trips out. They have also been extremely flexible in increasing the amount of care given as needed. The office staff have always been friendly and efficient and have responded quickly to any queries. Overall Experience

Home Instead, Walsall have been helping my mom to continue living independently at home since July 2021. The carers are always helpful, thoughtful and flexible regarding what they do. Mom looks forward to their visit twice a day as in addition to providing help they are like friends and she enjoys a chat. Mom agrees she is happier in herself since the visits commenced. The office staff have also been very helpful.

Flexible and supportive. I wouldn't be able to cope without them. Staff are always friendly and treat Dad well. He always looks forward to seeing them. I know he is well cared for if I have to travel or go away.

All the staff were very friendly and efficient. Care was put in place at very short notice. My mom and dad's primary carer was kind, thoughtful, thorough and a genuinely lovely lady. We would definitely use them again.
