Upon chatting with Home Instead from the very first point, I can’t express just how professional the staff were on helping us compile a care plan for my 84-year-old father in law. He has been very reluctant to agree to assistance. However, the lovely ladies that see to him have put him at ease and made him feel comfortable in his own surroundings. The standard of care provided is to the absolute maximum level and any concerns either way are dealt with immediately. The open communication and reliability has been amazing. My father in law is clean, dry, fed, and comfortable. The carers interact with Dad and put him at ease. To the point where he wants them to now helping him. If you need professional hands-on brilliant care. Home Instead would definitely be the people I’d be calling again and again. Thank you for putting our family at ease and helping care for the most important person in our lives.

Home Instead Walsall has been absolutely brilliant in caring for my mom and dad. The caregivers have always been punctual and have undertaken any jobs asked of them. They have gone above and beyond to interest my mom with a variety of activities including baking, craft and trips out. They have also been extremely flexible in increasing the amount of care given as needed. The office staff have always been friendly and efficient and have responded quickly to any queries. Home Instead, Walsall have been helping my mom to continue living independently at home since July 2021. The carers are always helpful, thoughtful and flexible regarding what they do. Mom looks forward to their visit twice a day as in addition to providing help they are like friends and she enjoys a chat. Mom agrees she is happier in herself since the visits commenced. The office staff have also been very helpful.

Flexible and supportive. I wouldn't be able to cope without them. Staff are always friendly and treat Dad well. He always looks forward to seeing them. I know he is well cared for if I have to travel or go away.

All the staff were very friendly and efficient. Care was put in place at very short notice. My mom and dad's primary carer was kind, thoughtful, thorough and a genuinely lovely lady. We would definitely use them again.

My family and I have been so appreciative and impressed with the service my mother received from Home Instead. It has provided my mother with companionship and the ability to get out of the house for local walks and generally enjoy life more when her children live some distance away. The team also escorted her to medical appointments and food shopping trips. On first hearing about the organisation, she was a little unsure but from the moment she met the first member of the team she enjoyed and looked forward to the visits and formed a close bond with her new companions who became a lifeline for her and us, particularly in Covid lockdown. The team understood my mother's dementia and treated her with respect and kindness and always went the extra mile. If we had any queries or extra requests they were always at the end of the phone. I would highly recommend the organisation to anyone.

We used Home Instead from May 2020 - not only did they come out during lockdown but were very professional and helpful. My 88 year old Dad was main carer for Mom with progressive dementia - so very difficult once day centres and everything else closed during the onset of covid. Home Instead were a lifeline and the main carer was brilliant with Mom, couldn't have been more caring, professional, and reliable. Thank you for all you have done and for your eternal patience.

Best possible, it has been a breath of fresh air (already) so confident, consistent and reliable. Would not hesitate to recommend to anyone. Worth the extra penny. It has brought so much already and relieved with the service. Wonderful, so thankful and grateful.

Carer arrives on time and takes care of my personal needs ie, showering, dressing, makes the bed, including changing bedding when necessary. Gives breakfast and coffee. All provided in a friendly and happy manner.

We have been using Home Instead (Walsall & Great Barr) care for a month now to help with my dad's care. The staff are always very friendly but sometimes it can feel like they are taking over and not asking first but overall a very good service.

My mother isn't the easiest person to care for, but Home Instead has made the transition smooth, and most of all, friendly. Mom was adamant she didn't need care but now accepts it willingly.

Always friendly and happy to help with any requests.

We needed to arrange a care package for my mum who has vascular dementia. The initial consultation leading to 2 visits a day was always on time and professional often going above and beyond. The caregivers were always friendly and caring. We did encounter a few problems however these were dealt with easily. Would recommend however their services are very expensive.

I had to arrange some care initially for one hour a day to prepare meals etc. This was all sorted out and put into place at very short notice. All staff involved were professional and absolutely fantastic and went above and beyond my expectations to meet the needs of the client. They were professional in the extreme and kept me informed throughout. The care had to be increased unexpectedly due to the client having a fall and this again was implemented immediately without any issues to three calls a day. This was all done over the Christmas and New Year period.

We have used the Home Instead Senior Care Service for the past six months and appreciate the work given by the carers. They willingly do all we require of them.

We needed to establish permanent care for a parent quickly when their primary carer became long term sick. Home Instead Walsall showed genuine care, compassion and fully understood our needs finding a suitable carer quickly and efficiently. The routine the carer follows is fully sensitive to the needs of the person being cared for and established in detail such that, when the regular carer was unable to attend, a replacement carer attended and seamlessly provided the same level of support. Throughout all of our contact with the company, they have been genuine, compassionate, flexible and very efficient. Their staff are suitably trained, kind, gentle and sensitive to the daily needs of the person they are caring for, showing flexibility whilst ensuring all tasks are completed and socially engaging with them. I would not hesitate to highly recommend Home Instead Walsall to anyone looking for care at home.
