Every care journey begins with a comprehensive consultation with the Care Manager. This provides clients and their families an opportunity to discuss their needs, routines, preferences, and expectations, enabling the team to create a personalised care plan around the individual and their preferred way of living.
Clients are carefully matched with a small team of Care Professionals, providing familiarity, continuity, and the opportunity to build genuine, trusting relationships. Care Professionals are personally introduced to clients, while the Care Manager remains closely involved, working alongside clients, families, and the care team to ensure care remains consistent, dependable, and responsive to changing needs.
Visits last at least one hour, giving Care Professionals time to provide thoughtful, unrushed care and companionship. This means they can focus on the person, not simply a list of tasks.
Support can range from companionship and help around the home to personal care and specialist dementia care, tailored to each person's circumstances.

From the outset, the service was excellent, straightforward and user friendly. Everything was clearly explained, including administration, costs and care arrangements. As this was all new to me, their professionalism and willingness to accommodate our needs at short notice following my mum's hospital discharge was particularly reassuring. Most importantly, my mum liked every carer who visited. They were all friendly, professional, compassionate and consistently went above and beyond, taking time to explain things and ensure she was comfortable and well looked after. Naturally, I had concerns about arranging care for my mum for the first time, but these were quickly put at ease. The carers and the service provided have played a significant part in her recovery.
An excellent service with genuinely wonderful carers. I would have no hesitation in recommending them.

We would like to express our sincere thanks to the Home Instead team who supported my mother-in-law twice a week over the last few months. The carers built a good rapport with her and treated her with kindness, respect and genuine warmth. They took the time to get to know her interests and preferences, listened carefully to our suggestions about places she enjoyed visiting, and also came up with some nice ideas of their own. These outings and activities made a real difference to her quality of life and gave her something to look forward to. Communication was excellent throughout. The carers kept both us well informed, and the office team were always quick to let us know about any changes or updates. Everything was organised efficiently and ran very smoothly,

On 28 November 2024 I underwent a major cancer operation and because I stay alone it was recommended that home care be in place before my discharge from hospital. I have now been tended by three ladies from HOME CARE for the past year and I am in no doubt that their care has been paramount in my recovery . When a carer left my house to start her annual leave that afternoon and I received a phone call from her from Alicante that evening to remind me to "take the fish out the fridge " ? you cant beat that! Good time keeping and conscientious in everything they do nothing was too much to ask of them. I'm on the mend now but should I have a relapse I know where I'm going. Unfortunately I have to agree with the criticism of other respondents regarding the administration . Nothing terrible but a couple of glitches that were sorted out immediately which were avoidable . Should you wish to speak to me in person then I permit the company to give you my contact details .
Overall ten out of ten.

Home Instead carefully matched their carers to mum. They were professional, likeable and caring. We were informed of any changes and were given access to an app that allowed us to keep track of each visit.

Very happy with the companionship service Home Instead are providing, now twice a week, for my old mum - who has always been determined to stay in her own home. The team have been very supportive of mum, in particular taking her out for her weekly shopping & out for lunches. The staff cope admirably with her idiosyncrasies & demands :) The management team are attentive & responsive - adjusting & adding sessions to suit mum as she has got used to the service.
Changeover of staff has been seamless & reviews held regularly. Online access to notes help keep the family aware of how visits & trips out have gone. Thank you so much for providing this service.

I am very pleased with the care provided. My care professional was matched to my personality and needs and the lady is very kind and considerate and nothing is too much trouble for her. We have a great laugh. I am also pleased that I have the same carer since the beginning of the service and the time of the visits are suited to me not the company. The care is also for a minimum of 1 hours so nothing feels like a rush and we get a chance to chat and laugh together.The company is very professional and caring and the communications are outstanding.

Dad has been assisted by Home Instead staff in his own home since March 2023 I just wanted to express my heartfelt gratitude for the incredible care and kindness shown to my dad. Living so far away in Australia, it means the world to me to know that he has been in such compassionate and capable hands. Caring for someone with Alzheimer's is not easy, and I truly admire the patience, empathy, and professionalism you brought to his daily life. Your support gave me peace of mind and comfort, knowing he was surrounded by people who genuinely care. Home Instead were also very supportive through a difficult family situation with great communication by emails and the care plan access app updating me with all necessary information related to dads needs and care. They were also supportive of his transition and move to a care home making sure it was a positive experience

Home Instead provide care and companionship to my parents twice weekly. The management are excellent, coming out to do a comprehensive assessment and really getting to know the service users. The carers who have visited my parents have all been professional, polite and courteous and most importantly caring and friendly. Communication between the company and the family is excellent and there are regular reviews which is really helpful. The process of looking for carers was very daunting, but Home Instead really made it so much easier for us. I highly recommend their service.

A company that continually adapts its service with the changing needs of its clients and family.
We have been working with Home Instead for two years and they have gone from providing simple companionship for our mother to providing a more comprehensive 24/7 live-in/supportive service as her disease (Alzheimer's) has progressed. This has meant recruiting different types of employees over the course of the two years - employees who are always helpful, engaged with my mother and always seeking ways to keep her stimulated, happy and safe. Home Instead has even managed to hire staff who speak my mother's languages, look after her pet, cook the food she loves and understand the culture she grew up in. With the progression of the disease, this has been critical as she regresses to her childhood self. I cannot express how much of the heavy lifting that Home Instead has done for us as a family; not just providing peace of mind but also tips and tricks for dealing with this disease.
