Following hip-replacement surgery in September 2022, I decided to use Home Instead as my care provider. A member of the management team visited me at home to discuss my needs. He was flexible and helpful. A care plan was drawn up and a time agreed for them to come every morning from ten to eleven, which suited me. They supported me getting up, dressed, making my breakfast and dealing with all my medication. They were always punctual and treated me with kindness, care and dignity. This personalised care enabled me to live at home while recovering from my operation. I would definitely recommend Home Instead for anyone who needs help in their own home as it is good quality, value for money and much cheaper than a placement in a care home.
Thanks for spending time proving this feedback. The staff loved spending time with you and I'm personally delighted that we were able to support you through your recovery and back to living independently.
This service was an absolute lifesaver for myself and my mother. It gave me a much needed day off as her full-time carer and my mum the company of a competent and warm carer. I was reassured by the professional attitude and high standards of care. I would recommend this service to anyone.
Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback on the care we provided to your Mum. It was a pleasure to support you both and hopefully your Mum is doing well in her new home.
The service received from Home Instead has been second to none. We receive regular updates and the app gives us any information we need. The communication is outstanding between the care manager and the family and our relative is extremely happy overall with the service of the 'befrienders'.
Thanks for providing feedback, the Care Professionals have really enjoyed working with your dad and we are delighted it's making a difference.
Home Instead provide a first-class service, staff members are very nice, polite and friendly. Regular contact is made with their clients, someone is always at hand either in person or on the phone should any problems, questions or queries arise.
Thanks for taking the time to review the services we are providing for your mum.
Even though my dad's time with 'Home Instead' was short, as he is now in a nursing home, he enjoyed the companionship and friendship that our carer provided. I have been around a couple of times recently and heard them both laughing away in the living room. They got on really well and it's reassuring to know he's with someone who he gets along with and is in good hands. Very good communication with the company throughout and would highly recommend.
Many thanks for taking the time to provide feedback. While it was only a short time our staff enjoyed the visits with your Dad and I'm pleased to hear that your Dad has moved on into a setting more suitable to his current needs.
I cannot recommend Home Instead enough. From my initial enquiry to their involvement with my relative, their service has been second to none. From the management team to the staff who have been working with my relative are exactly what I was looking for. Home Instead have matched the carers very well to us. Home Instead listened to what our requirements were and have totally met the brief. My relative is much more contented on the days Home Instead are involved which gives me a huge sense of relief. Home Instead’s contact has been excellent, they contact me to enquire how things are working out and are always on hand to assist and will endeavour to help with any additional needs we may have, especially as our situation is fluid. Do not look any further for another care company. I score Home Instead 1000/10.
Many thanks for taking the time to review our service, our staff love working with your relative and its been fantastic to hear about the benefits our visits have given.
It wasn’t really for personal care, more of a ‘back up’ which allowed my parents to continue living in their own home. My mother has cognitive impairment and my dad currently has mobility issues.
They were matched with two carers who are fantastic. They quickly got to know my parents and became part of our lives!
My parents look forward to them coming to visit and are now very comfortable with them in the home. They’re both more than happy to do any tasks required, hairdresser visits, shopping, short walks, housework and most importantly, companionship.
I get peace of mind when I’m working a 12 hour shift knowing someone has seen my parents that day. Then I can log into the app and read the notes on how the visit went. This service is fantastic and helps me through those days.
I love the personalised service and the continuity it brings.
Many thanks for taking the time to review our team, our Care Professionals have really enjoyed building a relationship with your mum and dad and supporting them on a weekly basis.
