From our first meeting with Home Instead we knew that they were right for our family. We had previously used the services of, and had been disappointed with, another local care company. Home Instead carefully matched their carers to mum. They were professional, likeable and caring. We were informed of any changes and were given access to an app that allowed us to keep track of each visit. I would wholeheartedly recommend Home Instead. Their customer service is exceptional and their staff are excellent.

Staff are very efficient, friendly and helpful. In most cases, they go 'above and beyond what is expected of them. Management could, on occasion be more efficient in communication with customers. Overall pleased with the service I receive.

The carer my mother currently has is excellent and is doing a brilliant job in difficult circumstances. However, during most of the 3 months I have been using Home Instead I have had a number of diassapointing experiences with the administration and managment. I have raised this with the appropriate person and and I hope these have now been resolved. Ask me again in another 3 months.

Very happy with the companionship service Home Instead are providing, now twice a week, for my old mum - who has always been determined to stay in her own home. The team have been very supportive of mum, in particular taking her out for her weekly shopping & out for lunches. The staff cope admirably with her idiosyncrasies & demands :) The management team are attentive & responsive - adjusting & adding sessions to suit mum as she has got used to the service. Changeover of staff has been seamless & reviews held regularly. Online access to notes help keep the family aware of how visits & trips out have gone. Thank you so much for providing this service.

I am very pleased with the care provided. My care professional was matched to my personality and needs and the lady is very kind and considerate and nothing is too much trouble for her. We have a great laugh. I am also pleased that I have the same carer since the beginning of the service and the time of the visits are suited to me not the company. The care is also for a minimum of 1 hours so nothing feels like a rush and we get a chance to chat and laugh together.The company is very professional and caring and the communications are outstanding.

Dad has been assisted by Home Instead staff in his own home since March 2023 I just wanted to express my heartfelt gratitude for the incredible care and kindness shown to my dad. Living so far away in Australia, it means the world to me to know that he has been in such compassionate and capable hands. Caring for someone with Alzheimer's is not easy, and I truly admire the patience, empathy, and professionalism you brought to his daily life. Your support gave me peace of mind and comfort, knowing he was surrounded by people who genuinely care. Home Instead were also very supportive through a difficult family situation with great communication by emails and the care plan access app updating me with all necessary information related to dads needs and care. They were also supportive of his transition and move to a care home making sure it was a positive experience Thank you from the bottom of my heart for everything you have done for dad and for our family.

I was looking for someone to come into our home to be a companion for my husband when I am going out . He has been living with cancer plus other health issues for sometime and more recently dementia has started to join in as well . It gives me assurance when I go out to know he has someone there and gives him another person in his life to chat to. Homeinstead try to match up with his interests and most importantly treat him as a person with respect and empathy. They are a very caring company providing whatever kind of support your loved one requires .

Home Instead were engaged to provide one to one support for our daughter. Our overall experience with Home Instead was very positive. Their planning of the support delivery was thorough and fully reflected our views on what was required to support our daughter. Their communication with us was very effective. Home Instead provide care and companionship to my parents twice weekly. The management are excellent, coming out to do a comprehensive assessment and really getting to know the service users. The carers who have visited my parents have all been professional, polite and courteous and most importantly caring and friendly. Communication between the company and the family is excellent and there are regular reviews which is really helpful. The process of looking for carers was very daunting, but Home Instead really made it so much easier for us. I highly recommend their service.

A company that continually adapts its service with the changing needs of its clients and family. We have been working with Home Instead for two years and they have gone from providing simple companionship for our mother to providing a more comprehensive 24/7 live-in/supportive service as her disease (Alzheimer's) has progressed. This has meant recruiting different types of employees over the course of the two years - employees who are always helpful, engaged with my mother and always seeking ways to keep her stimulated, happy and safe. Home Instead has even managed to hire staff who speak my mother's languages, look after her pet, cook the food she loves and understand the culture she grew up in. With the progression of the disease, this has been critical as she regresses to her childhood self. I cannot express how much of the heavy lifting that Home Instead has done for us as a family; not just providing peace of mind but also tips and tricks for dealing with this disease.

Home Instead have been providing care to my mum for a few months now. I couldn’t be happier with the service they provide, they keep in touch and are very quick to let me know if they have any concerns about my mum's wellbeing. I love the app which details what happened during each visit. Most importantly my mum has built up an excellent rapport with her carers and really looks forward to their visits, they certainly brighten up her day!

My dad had always been very independent and prided himself on this, however, he was finding some household tasks more and more challenging. Fortunately, we found Home Instead (Inverclyde and North Ayrshire) who professionally worked with us to put together the ideal care support tailored for Dad’s needs. The carers are just lovely and most importantly care - they take time to get to know Dad and what makes him happy. Dad has not only put on weight, he looks forward to his daily visits and this has developed into outings for coffee, shopping and even a haircut. It has been such a positive experience not only for my dad but also for myself. Living at a distance I was only able to visit a couple of times a week. I was worried and uptight about how he was coping on his own. Now it is a delight to see him so happy, fit and positive. If I hadn’t seen it with my own eyes I wouldn’t have believed it. We couldn’t recommend Home Instead (Inverclyde and North Ayrshire) more highly or be more pleased with the care.

Following hip-replacement surgery in September 2022, I decided to use Home Instead as my care provider. A member of the management team visited me at home to discuss my needs. He was flexible and helpful. A care plan was drawn up and a time agreed for them to come every morning from ten to eleven, which suited me. They supported me getting up, dressed, making my breakfast and dealing with all my medication. They were always punctual and treated me with kindness, care and dignity. This personalised care enabled me to live at home while recovering from my operation. I would definitely recommend Home Instead for anyone who needs help in their own home as it is good quality, value for money and much cheaper than a placement in a care home.

This service was an absolute lifesaver for myself and my mother. It gave me a much needed day off as her full-time carer and my mum the company of a competent and warm carer. I was reassured by the professional attitude and high standards of care. I would recommend this service to anyone.

The service received from Home Instead has been second to none. We receive regular updates and the app gives us any information we need. The communication is outstanding between the care manager and the family and our relative is extremely happy overall with the service of the 'befrienders'.

Home Instead provide a first-class service, staff members are very nice, polite and friendly. Regular contact is made with their clients, someone is always at hand either in person or on the phone should any problems, questions or queries arise.
