Home Instead (Norwich)

After more than 2 1/2 years with Home Instead, Norwich, we have nothing but praise for the service received from them. The carers are efficient, considerate and caring. We have been fortunate to have the same carers during this time and hope we will be able to continue to do so. We have gradually increased the hours as our needs changed and cooperation from the office staff has been excellent. If any problem arises we know just a phone call from us will get the help we need. Very high standard of care- highly recommend.

My partner has dementia and has been receiving care from Home Instead for several years now. As his needs have grown Home Instead has adapted and increased their care service. We now have a wonderful team of care professionals who provide the kindest and most expert personal care and above all relate to him. as a person, giving friendship and companionship. I recently needed to be away from home and Home Instead was able to provide 24 hour care for him at home,his familiar team giving him seamlessly all the care needed. I was able to relax away from home, but able to check on his progress through Home Insteads special app.

I have been very pleased with Home Instead. It was used by my mother-in-law, who was pleased with their care. My mother was looked after by another group who came at all sorts of times which was not good at all.

We have received excellent service as a family from Home Instead. We will recommend to all out friends and family. Thank you!

I have found this service to be the perfect addition to my quality of life. The staff are super flexible, they complete all tasks to the highest quality. They are friendly and make me feel extremely comfortable in my home. I could not recommend them highly enough. Thank you.

Ashleigh was very friendly homely and willing she could do anything for you and good company. Mamon is a lovely person who is good company whom I enjoy talking to an having a laugh with.

On the whole service we receive is good. However some of our carers are more diligent in their use of time than others if their caring duties are complete they ask if they can help me in any way. The carers we have are always polite and treat my partner, who suffers from dementia, with respect and kindness.

I enjoy my visits the girls are good girls.

I would definitely recommend Home Instead

My husbands carer works efficiently and sensitively. She is a pleasure to have in our home. Just like a friend she chats away to my husband while washing him.

At present we only require one hour a week but I am confident that when our needs change and we need more time, this will be provided in the same professional manner which will enable us to remain together in our own home.

My relationships with my carers is a very large part of my life in care and one which I enjoy. Everyone treats my property respectfully, and I in turn try to be a good and generous client in return. Sometimes I think the carers could be treated to a little more consideration from the office staff in the distances they have to drive, otherwise I consider myself to be very fortunate to be within the care of Home Instead.

The app was very good to keep in touch and we had piece of mind how he was.

The only negative comments I have are it was frustrating to have to give 2 full weeks notice to cancel a visit or be charged regardless. So plans always had to be done in advance. Also It would have been nice to have the option of a shorter visit ie 30 minutes.

I congratulate you on your choice of staff. I have found them to be both cheerful and helpful and a pleasure to be with.

My support helped me hoover and dust. We had a nice chat, and I will see her in a week.

It's been great watching my mother develop a friendly relationship with her carer; she looks forward to the visits which include assistance bathing, dressing, grooming and also some light housework. However the most important part has been the conversation she shares with both my parents, and assistance in activities like crossword puzzling etc. The highly personalised care plan and regular review from a care coordinator is extremely reassuring.

I have been having Home Instead care since November 2024. I had been in hospital, then a care home, since June of that year. The carers who come, in my case twice a week, are without exception capable, kind and a pleasure to have as helpers. They are willing to undertake whatever needs to be done, whether in the home or even the garden. I always look forward to their visit.

Thank you for the excellent service. It is a relief to be assured that my mother is cared for kindly and efficiently.

Lovely friendly staff. Nothing too much trouble. Always lifts my father's mood. Good value for money.
