Both the caregivers have been a joy to have around and they have aided my recovery no end from a major orthopaedic operation. Neither can be faulted and both are exemplary.
They went beyond the call of duty to care for my cousin, who had no relatives nearby and was not in close touch with her neighbours. They put in extra hours and provided extra carers at very short notice when emergency extra hours were needed.
I am happy with all aspects of my dealings with the organisation.
Home Instead started looking after my parents last year on a part-time basis. The carers are very good and are like friends of my parents. I am told about any problems by the agency. The carers that come are mostly the same people so they get to know my parents. Home Instead also introduce the carer before they start.
Dad's visits from Home Instead carers give us peace of mind that he has company and a chat with someone kind every day. For now, the care plan is mainly for companionship, but we know we can increase to a higher level of care at any time. Very good service and well organised agency.
No complaints at any time.
When using Care Professionals for my mum I was looking for professional support, kindness, personality, promptness, flexibility, understanding and just being able to exceed the client's expectations. Home Instead Norwich have met all these criteria and been extremely flexible all the time especially during my mum's recent falls and illness. Outstanding team and huge thanks for your ongoing support and understanding.
Carers are excellent, meet our needs, friendly, polite and respectful to our needs. Is a clear continuity of personnel and advised if a change or if running late. Office staff courteous and can alter days/times if notice with no problem.
The carers and office staff were first class, friendly, helpful and compassionate. The front line carers provided an excellent service and I would highly recommend them to others.
Home Instead have provided reliable and thoughtful carers for my husband. The carers were always on time and were polite and very capable.
I could not have wished for anyone better to look after my friend (now deceased unfortunately). All staff were always professional, understanding and kind and excellent care.
Care is about good service, administration and compliance but most importantly, it's about employing caring staff and giving them enough time to deliver not only domestic help but REAL care - conversation and companionship and renumerating them properly so that they can feel valued.
My father's main carer became a family friend and will remain so following his death. THAT is care.
I was very happy with the service provided. All carers were courteous, honest and caring. They helped my Mother to get out and about. They were always reliable and I was kept informed about her wellbeing.
Firstly we can never thank the Norwich Home Instead care team enough for all of their incredible help provided over & above the call of duty to our Aunt. They enabled her to live out her last months comfortably in her own home, which had been her dying wish. Our Aunt referred to all of her lovely lady carers as her friends & that’s the wonderful relationship that they all shared. As a very proud lady, the team showed great dignity in ensuring both our Aunt & her home were kept spotless at all times - priceless angels, thank you.
Excellent service provided to my Mother for four months - agency was most accommodating and adaptable as her needs changed. Caregivers were reliable cheerful, caring and understanding with excellent interpersonal skill.s Admin team was efficient, courteous and thorough. My Mother felt totally confident in all her carers who consistently satisfied all her needs in a professional yet friendly manner.
We were delighted with the care provided for my mother as it enabled her to remain living alone in her home for the last 18 months of her life and to die at home with family around. The company's insistence on visits of at least one-hour meant that care never felt rushed. We were always notified of a new caregiver and new carers were always introduced by a caregiver my mother trusted so that she felt confident about the ladies coming into her home. This also ensured that new ladies were aware of the routine and where to find things in the house.
All the ladies were lovely and by the time my mother died, felt like part of the family. They were truly kind and caring, willing to assist in any way. The reviews and care plans are conducted as required, reflecting my mother's changing needs and her dignity was a prime concern with the ladies and the office, all of whom worked with the family to deliver the best possible outcome. We have no hesitation in recommending Home Instead.
The caregiver was wonderful, patient, willing, obliging, sympathetic and warm she is a truly compassionate person and I really miss her.
My mum is very happy with the girls who pop in to look after her every morning. They check her taking her tablets and her insulin, do her breakfast, get her dinner and veg out of the freezer and make her a sandwich for her tea, also make sure she has a bottle of juice to drink. If she is happy, so am I and that's what matters.
Home Instead have been the most amazing agency ever. Their carers have carried out all their duties to mum and dad with the greatest love and care imaginable. They have become part of our family for the last 2 years and I cannot recommend them highly enough.
I enjoy their company and appreciate everything they do for me.
