Dad became a widower after a long and happy marriage. Home Instead helped him to remain in his marital home, by assisting with household jobs, which included cooking for and with him, a little bit of planting and weeding in the garden, washing and ironing, dusting and hoovering. Ultimately whatever Dad wanted assistance within his home, the lovely Home Instead carers would be very happy to help. As time went on and Dementia became part of Dad's life, he needed to be reminded to eat, drink and shower. Home Instead continued to help Dad to enjoy his home life as much as possible and the carers became a lovely team that both Dad and I came to rely on.
If you are considering care for someone you love, I recommend Home Instead without question.
Thank you for such a wonderful review. It has been nothing but a pleasure to care for your dad and his carers look forward to their visit with Dad just as much as he does. He is such a wonderful man.
We had a number of care agencies before we came across Home Instead, who were awful. We were constantly on the phone sorting out problems. When Home Instead took over my Mum's care I was very cynical, worried that the same would happen. I needn't have worried, the care was great, the carers were well trained and for the first time since my mum had care I could relax.
They were so good we took out a loan on the house, just to keep her with them because we wanted the best care for her and wanted to keep her with them to the end which we managed to achieve.
I cannot thank Home Instead enough for looking after my mum as well as they did. They may be a little more expensive than others, but it is money well spent.
Thank you Paula for this lovely review. We have enjoyed supporting your mum and making her laugh. Your mum was a great character who lit up the room with her great sense of humour and caring nature. I will pass your comments on to the Care Professionals that have supported your mum.
My mum has been using them for several years. With one particular carer coming to do her washing and housework etc but in the last six months she needed more personal care with carers coming in twice a day. They have been very caring and professional in looking after my mum’s needs.
Thank you for taking the time to leave such a lovely review. It is a pleasure to look after your mum and to support her daily.
The bond between my mum and her carer is lovely, they get on so well and Mum really enjoys her visits.
It definitely puts my mind at ease knowing she is very well looked after.
Thank you again.
Thank you for your kind review. It is an absolute pleasure to care for your mum.
Very happy with all care and attention shown to my 92 year old aunt.

The overall service provided by Home Instead (Norwich) is excellent. Staff are professional and helpful at all times. Carers are generally on time. One carer that stands out for me us, he is so respectful, caring and kind to both Dad and Mum. He is an outstanding carer that goes above and beyond. We can highly recommend this company to anyone needing care.
Thank you for taking the time to write this review. I'm delighted you're so positive about the service and that we're able to help your family in this way. I will make sure I give the Care Professional you have higlighted a personal "pat on the back"! Thank you for giving us the opportunity to care for your family.
Good service, do what they say. Come when they promise. Flexible, do what is needed.
Thanks for your review and the opportunity to support your family. I'm pleased the service is working well for you. Your Mom's team are certainly fond of her.
The management are also in regular communication, and the care app is updated immediately after every visit so I know exactly how the visit went, and how Mum is doing at the touch of a button - It really is genius.
My mum is one of the most important people in the world to me and home instead have given me real peace of mind that she is in the best hands, she has got to know her carers, and looks forward to their visits.
Thank you for taking the time to leave such a lovely review. We are happy that we have been able to support you and mum who we know our Care Professionals love visiting.
I have been much impressed by the care I have received since I came here. It is an experience which has increased my personal confidence, and I look forward to seeing my carers each week. I would miss their visits if they were not to come.

All the visiting staff have been very friendly, helpful and efficient and our contacts at the office have been outstanding in helping with arranging support. The care staff also took Mum out for trips and went out of their way to be helpful.
Without your support Mum could not have lived independently for as long as she has.
Thank you for your review. It's been a pleasure to get to know your family and support you. Our purpose is to enable our clients to remain independent in their own homes and remain engaged in their local community as long as it is safe to do so. The trips out have been enjoyed by your mother and...
The team are all delightful and make such a difference to her daily life.
We are also impressed by the efficient admin keeping us all informed of any changes. (These are very few and far between)
Thanks for posting this review and choosing Home Instead to help. Our Care Professional's enjoy spending time with your Mum and we're all pleased to see how she benefits from their visits and the peace of mind this gives your family.
My wife had a knee replacement on July 4th and I myself have limited physical mobility normally being in a wheelchair when out. We have had two sessions a week, one for 2 hours and one for 3 hours. During those times the carers undertook clothes washing and bed changing and washing bed linen. Other tasks done included, vacuuming, dusting and sorting out cupboards, fridge/freezer and utility room, collecting and putting out rubbish etc. In all cases they were particularly efficient. Rarely was I able to see the carers as on the days in question I also had to attend 4-5 hour dialysis sessions at the renal clinic, but I had very positive reports from my wife who is usually quite critical on matters associated with the home. After 4 weeks of care my wife has recovered significantly that we shall still continue with care for a further 2 weeks. I strongly recommend the service provided.
Thank you for your review and for choosing Home Instead to support you. We've enjoyed being able to help and glad that your wife has made a good recovery.
It's good to know that Mum has company and someone to take her out and help out with meals etc. She likes being in her own home and being independent and Home Instead helps her to continue to do this.
Thanks for the review Jennifer. We’re delighted to be able to help continue your mum’s independence in her own home as we know how important this is for her. Your Mum’s Care Professionals really enjoy her company and the trips out for a coffee and a chat.
I contacted Home Instead Norwich after being let down by another provider. The care for my mother, 1 hour in the morning and night and 2 lunchtimes a week, was soon set up and Mum soon realised the huge value that the carers bring to her. Getting her up, making breakfast for her and reading the paper to her made a huge difference to her life. She soon chose her favourite carers, not all worked out but these were soon replaced, and they kept to her routine morning and night. I can say that the carers soon became real friends for which no job was too much trouble. There is always going to be issues with this type of support and, while there was the odd phone call to the office to sort out issues, the office were very supportive while doing a very difficult job, especially during the Covid. Mum had carers from this company for over 20 months in total and what a difference they made; thank you all.
Home instead provide a carer who comes once a week and really goes the extra mile to help us keep Dad’s quality of life as good as possible.
The service provided for my father was true care, rather than just a service. When he had a medical problem whilst we were away and unable to return until the next day, somebody went in on her day off to sort him out and provide support. I would recommend them wholeheartedly.
I continue to be pleased and satisfied with the care given by Home Instead caregivers. They are interesting and thoughtful people who add a great deal to my day. There was a short period a little while ago when the office staff seemed to be going through a difficult time which caused a feeling of insecurity. Fortunately, this seems to have been sorted. Thank you for your help and availability.
I am satisfied with the service provided.
I only recently contacted Home Instead to help out with my elderly mother and so far have had excellent service. I have a set day each week and her carer is very helpful and friendly, she even offered to do some overtime on her days off to help care for Mum so I could have a break away for one night which I am very grateful for.
