Home Instead (Edgbaston) is an award winning company providing pro-active companionship-led care to people in their own homes in Central, East and South Birmingham covering areas Edgbaston, Harborne, Selly Oak, Bournville, Kings Norton, Yardley, Moseley, Kings Heath, Wthyall, Acocks Green and Hall Green, Hodge Hill, Ward End etc

In January 2019, the care element of their service was rated as 'Outstanding' by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) at their routine inspection. This puts them in the very top tier of UK home care companies that have been inspected by the CQC.

The company individually matches Caregivers to the people that they support based on personality, interests and skills required. Their experience is that continuity of Caregiver makes a huge difference to the quality of support that they are able to provide. All of the people that work for them live locally and are car drivers insured to take people out into the community if that is required.

The company looks to add some colour into people’s lives that they go to as well as providing the practical support required that help them to continue living independently in their own homes.

Excellent service. I had contining carer which was really important. The carer was extremely reliable, punctual and flexible. Nothing was too much trouble. Home Instead takes personal care. Easy to get through to the office and book appointments.

Due to bad snow, I didn't think carers would of been able to make it to mom's visit. I had a call from Home Instead office and was told the carer was stuck in snow, but not to worry, she will be there. I was informed by the carer, the managing director and owner had picked up the carers in his own vehicle
and transported the carers to their clients! This is above and beyond. I couldn't ask for a better provider. These are excellent!

Home Instead have been perfect from day one. All the carers are very thoughtful and skilled in what they do. Consistency of care has been great. My husband and I look forward to seeing them every week. They support me as much as him. I like the fact that they use their initiative and also that they
do any bits of housework needed in any spare time at the end of the visits. Would highly recommend.

Home Instead have been caring for my severly disbaled wife for the past 3 years. She has now died peacefully at home under their care. They are now providing live-in care for me. I have always found the carers efficient, cheerful and kind. They are incredibly reliable in providing support whenever it
is needed. My own current carer is a real joy. I congratulate them all and find the care just what I needed.

I would like to congratulate Home Instead for providing such an attending service to myself, especially when taking me to do shopping and my fortnightly hair salon.
