We have found home instead so super friendly and helpful. The 2 carers that have been allocated to care for my Mother are really lovely and balance being both a great help in practical terms but also offering warm company to both my Mother and Father. It is such a comfort to know they go in to help. Would highly recommend them!
I cannot speak highly enough of the care my mum has received from this home care provider. Living with Alzheimer's can be incredibly challenging, but the team has made a genuine difference to her quality. Every member of staff is consistently caring, professional, and thoughtful in their approach. They treat my mum with real dignity and kindness, always taking the time to understand her needs and ensure she feels safe and comfortable. Communication has been excellent throughout. I am always kept informed, and any concerns are handled promptly and with genuine care. It's clear they value transparency and collaboration with families, which makes a huge difference. What stands out most is the strong relationship they've built with my mum. Despite the challenges of Alzheimer's, they have taken the time to connect with her on a personal level, bringing warmth and familiarity into her daily routine. I would recommend this provider to anyone looking for compassionate, reliable, homecare
I used Home Instead after my recent hip surgery as my husband is unable to help now. The team were all extremely helpful and friendly right from the first consultation to my final session. I was kept up to date with a rota of who was coming and any new carers were always introduced. The carers were always on time, treated me well and always willing to do anything required . I was very well looked after and would certainly use them again.
From the very first meeting with Home Instead staff, I knew I could trust them to care for my mum. Carers were extremely kind and attentive to mum's individual needs. They worked out what sort of food and drink she liked and went specifically to shops on the way to see mum to buy what she would eat. They also added special touches of care, always respecting aspects such as mum's appearance, so she felt cared for and could maintain her self esteem. Every time they left her, mum looked happy, clean and comfortable, with nice food and drinks by her side. Thank you to all of you.
I would recommend Home Instead to anyone with care needs. They have supported my family since 2018. Firstly with my father who had Parkinson's disease and dementia, and then more recently with my mother. Initially they supported my mother with companionship, and were always friendly, supportive and kind. She looked forward to the visits. However, they became a vital lifeline to me and my mother, when my mother became seriously ill and needed full time live in care. The support I got was amazing, they helped me access the correct services and equipment needed to support my mother, and all the caregivers cared for her with compassion and respect. I can not praise them enough. It is only because of them that my mother was able to stay at home where she wanted to be. (Her live in carers were amazing). Although she sadly passed away, I know her last few weeks were as peaceful and happy as they could be, and I was able to be with her at the end. All due to the support of Home Instead.
Home Instead have helped with my elderly parents' care, first as visiting carers and then as live in carers for over 18 months now. I have found each individual carers to be personable, exceptionally kind, and very resourceful. They have been utterly invaluable in helping our family through difficult times. Their kindness to, and support of, my mother after my father passed will stay with me forever. I would strongly recommend the carers, the team and the service that is provided by them all.
Home Instead have provided daily care support to my elderly mother for a number of years. Throughout, they have provided an exceptional level of service and support. The individual carers are professional, friendly and compassionate, helping my mother to maintain her independence and dignity. The service provided by the administration and support team is efficient, flexible and responsive, with great communication. I'd have no hesitation in recommending Home Instead to any future client.
Delightful team providing intelligent, thoughtful and adaptable care for my Dad who is in his 90s. Home Instead North Oxfordshire have been helping my Dad for over two years - we have gradually increased the support as his needs have changed. Their now daily visits have enabled him to continue living in his own home. I would strongly recommend the whole team and the service they provide.
What makes HomeInstead so unqiue and precious to clients isn't just the practical care they provide, it's the friendship they offer to them. My Mum's life had become so isolated, and they gave her kindness and friendship that meant the world to us all.
When I finally came to terms with having to find some extra support with Mum's care, I had no idea where to start in determining where to go to find the right fit, it's a very daunting process! Confronted with multiple options online, I decided to start with the reviews, Home Instead North Oxfordshire looked very good. With trepidation I rang the number and Graham answered, from that moment his calm reassuring guidance gave me the confidence to take the next step. Mum wasn't initially looking forward to having new people in the house and what that change meant, but when Supervisor Lauren visited, who was so lovely, Mum was put at ease. Everyone in the team has been fantastic, communication is excellent and I feel a massive amount of relief that those reviews brought me to Home Instead North Oxfordshire team.
Home Instead stepped in to support us when Mum needed short term care and support. Graham, Adina and the team were amazing, caring, respectful and considerate. We really appreciate the support you gave Mum at very little notice and all you did for her. I hope you continue to offer the short term care Mum received, as our community needs a service like this. Would highly recommend.
My Mum, formally diagnosed with mixed dementia in 2023, had been supported by her husband and my siblings until he died in January 2025 after a fall. We continued to provide live-in care but planned to engage a live-in carer for her as soon as possible. Home Instead were by far the most careful (and care-full, understanding) team in allowing us to interview prospective live-in carers with my Mum joining in at the end of each video call session. We ended up with an excellent carer who felt as though she was as close to being another sister in terms of her way of caring for our Mum. We felt very supported by the Home Instead team and they supported the carer very well, too, during the very stressful times when Mum's dementia meant that she was less amenable. Mum went into a specialist dementia nursing home in early October 2025 as her needs increased, but Home Instead gave her an extra few months living in her own home, for which we are very grateful.
I contacted Home Instead when we realised my mum could not live alone because of Alzheimer's . The team were extremely responsive to our idea of a shared package with us to care for mum in her own flat and worked extremely hard to come up with a bespoke solution. At all times we felt listened to, valued and there was a straight forward and honest appraisal of each stage of the journey. Eventually we settled on a full-time live-in carer who proved to be an extremely caring, dedicated and creative carepro. She and Mum had many lovely times together and her ability to work with both my sister and myself was remarkable. She became part of our family. I would have no hesitation in recommending Home Instead to other families who are supporting their relative at home; it's a first class service.
My Mum always looks forward to her visits and has got to know and trust the Carers, meaning she has become much more independent and has recovered well from a bad run of health. The support team are very friendly and quick to respond to any questions or issues. Mum has also received a couple of nice gifts, a tomato plant and a recipe book which was a really nice touch. Happy to recommend the team to anyone.
Throughout the last few years the care that home Instead provided has been brilliant and really did allow Mum to remain as independent as possible.
I came to rely on the care and support provided by Graham and team which in turn provided me with reassurance and comfort that Mums care needs were being fully met.
In addition to the physical care provided, Graham was also able to provide me with guidance and support in relation to the current care system and the best way to navigate the difficult decisions required when the time came to relocate out of the family home and into residential care.
I would 100% recommend Home Instead to provide quality care and wider support.
We're so impressed with the care Home Instead provides for my mother-in-law. Both the management and the carers are kind, patient, compassionate and genuinely interested in her wellbeing, which has made such a difference to her quality of life. Their support over the last 3+ years has given us, and continues to give, great peace of mind, knowing she's in safe and caring hands, particularly as we live over 500 miles away. Nothing is too much trouble for them, plus the management team are very proactive in providing feedback and recommendations. Highly recommended!
Home Instead have been great for my dad who at 91 needs some extra care. They don't just look after his wellbeing but also engage his brain with conversation and having a laugh. They are also very flexible and wherever possible will step in at short notice. Highly recommend
Home Instead have been helping my mother for 2 years and we have nothing but praise for the service and care they provide. Always reliable; always helpful and responsive to special requests; always attentive to Mum's changing needs. They offer friendship, practical support and kindness , both to Mum and to me as her principal carer. We would recommend our local Home Instead team (North Oxfordshire) without hesitation.
My Mum has been visited by the wonderful carers at Home Instead for 8 years now. It is impossible to praise them enough. Diagnosed with Alzheimer's and unable to drive, Mum has continued to lead a full and happy life thanks to them; they have taken her out for walks in the countryside, for trips to the shops and visits to local cafes and clubs. They transformed what could have been a very dark situation into one full of laughter. Their rapport with my mum was so special that, even when she moved into a care home, I asked that they continue to visit. This was an invaluable way of helping her transition across to her new surroundings. The empathy and attention to detail of the management staff at Home Instead have also been invaluable. They took the time to properly get to know Mum in the first instance and chose carers who would suit her personality. As my mother's disease has progressed, the whole team has proved vital in ensuring her changing needs are met. Thank you.
I contacted Home Instead after my mother had a hip replacement operation and found the return to independent living in her own home very challenging, both physically and mentally. It was such a relief to find a care provider who looks beyond each client's practical care needs to the person they are and the relationship they can build with them. Although Mum continues to face challenges, her carers offer her friendship, company and care in equal measure, which makes her life much richer and gives us peace of mind. Whenever we have raised questions or concerns, the Home Instead team has responded swiftly and offered good solutions. My sister and I are very grateful and would recommend Home Instead (North Oxfordshire) without reservation.

Meet the Team (5)
I joined Home Instead because of my experience in seeking Care for my father who had Alzheimer's Disease. I discovered that it's not easy to find quality support for a loved one and so my wife and I decided to create it. We joined Home Instead and opened our office in October 2013. Since that time we feel we have added something to the lives of 100's of clients and their families in North Oxfordshire and South West Northamptonshire.
Graham's overall role is to manage the business. He is also the nominated person with the Care Quality Commission.
I'm Adina and work with Home Instead in North Oxfordshire as Registered Care Manager, which means I am responsible for all elements of the service we provide. I initially joined as Deputy Manager for two years and also have over five years of experience in other roles within the care industry in Oxfordshire. I have found the focus we put on quality to be reflected in the experience people have every day. I feel very motivated and passionate about providing the highest quality service to our clients and their families.
I live nearby with my family and have a young daughter - see picture, I'm on the left! I love being a Mum… even if it does mean I don’t have too much time for hobbies these days!
I've been with Home Instead in North Oxfordshire since 2015. Initially, I was responsible for scheduling for three years, but after taking a year off to have twins (!) I undertook a role supporting as trainer Care Professionals through supervision and training. Since early 2025, I have taken a role as Deputy Care Manager, supporting Adina and the rest of the team to ensure the safe and high-quality delivery of our services.
I originally trained to degree level in psychology and have worked with both younger and older people since then. I really love working for Home Instead. The attention clients get, and the support we provide our staff, is second to none. I feel proud to work for the organisation.
I have worked in varied roles for a number of years, but after experiencing the need for care and support for my own parents, and the difference that extra support made to them both, I joined Home Instead in North Oxfordshire in 2018. I loved visiting my clients and progressed from CAREGiver to Senior CAREGiver and then to Field Supervisor in 2020, and am now in a training role. This involves the support of Care Professionals, making sure they are competent and confident to support their clients. I love the feeling you get when you know you make such a difference to people.
Outside of work, I love spending time with my family and especially my grandchildren. I have a wide and possibly unusual range of interests, including dressmaking, and I am also a keen motorcyclist and love nothing more than riding through the country lanes with my husband, especially in the summer months.
Gemma joined us in 2024 after having worked in patient services at a GP surgery. Her role ensures that client visits are scheduled efficiently, matching clients to caregivers, reacting to needs and ensuring no one goes without a visit. In this way, her role ensures the safe and high-quality delivery of what we do.
