We have received first class care from your company and I would recommend them to anybody needed care. Nothing is too much trouble. They give 100%.
I would like to say that everybody at Homeinstead, from the manager and his wife and all the carers that looked after my Mother when she was alive, are wonderful, loving, considerate people. They all can be trusted completely to give care when it is needed and looked after my Mother with love in their hearts. If they care for others like they did my Mum then please be assured of their commitment and trust.
Later she needed round the clock care and Home Instead provided respite care for the permanent carers coming in for their breaks every day. The care managers went above and beyond to make sure everything was in place, even collecting and delivering eye drops from the pharmacy when supplies ran low on more than one occasion, and one of the carers collected other medicines from the village shop every week. Responses to any queries were always very quick - we would heartily recommend their services.
I would and do highly recommend this care agency. We have been using these carers now for over two years. Their care, compassion and professionalism are second to none. The carers we use have made such a difference to my mother's outlook in life since she lost her partner two years ago and they too gave him the personal care to enable him to end his life in a dignified and comfortable way. It is not just my mother that benefits but also the whole family to know that I can trust leaving her in their care to enable me to work.
I am very happy with the level of service provided by Home Instead Senior Care (North Oxfordshire) - lovely and knowledgeable ladies who really managed my mam's illness beautifully with no loss of dignity. I've already recommended your firm to others. I just cannot fault Home Instead Senior Care (North Oxfordshire) and was extremely grateful for them.
My father is 91 and moved in with my family in September. Home Instead help him with personal care twice a day, am and pm. Our caregivers are all really lovely people, who always treat dad with respect and thoughtful care. He enjoys their company and because they stay for an hour it means they have time to chat and help dad without rushing him. They are never late and if they haven't finished on time they don't quibble about leaving bang on the hour. They are very considerate when they arrive, fitting around our sometimes chaotic family home! From my point of view I really appreciate the support I get from head office. It's great to have knowledgeable people at the end of the phone if I need to discuss a concern regarding dad. Their attention to detail regarding following medical staff's instructions regarding the application of creams and support stockings etc has been very impressive. There are so many care companies it's tricky knowing who to pick. I am so glad I chose Home Instead.
My husband had been receiving daily personal care and companionship up to his entering a residential care home, following a worsening of his ft dementia condition, in August this year. Right from the first day, some two years previously, he had been in receipt of first class care and friendship from the very professional, compassionate and deeply caring ladies from Home Instead. He was carefully matched by the managers and had an amazing relationship with all of the carers who visited him each day. I cannot commend them enough for their compassion and understanding. I really could not have coped without them all. They are very person centred, ultra professional and everything you would expect from a very well run agency. They became a big part of his life and I considered them family friends eventually. I would recommend them to anyone in need of a carer for their loved one.
I have found this company lovely. They treat my dear father who has dementia with kindness and are gentle caring people who are looking after him. He very much has enjoyed their company and it's also been a great help to me. I would recommend them to anyone who is in need of help.
The agency must have a very good selection system to provide such consistently good people.
It was increasingly difficult to care for the needs of an elderly wife with dementia and alzheimers. We contacted Home Instead who promptly arranged home visits to ascertain our needs and to advise on how they could support us. Subsequent visits were also very professional and caring leading to a 'tailor made' selection of caregivers for home visits. These visits increased over the next 10 months as the Alzheimers deteriorated and my wife fractured her femur. Following a long spell in hospital she is now requiring residential nursing care. Our connection with Home Instead has always been very professional, caring, pleasant and very supportive to our needs. I would strongly recommend their services to anyone in similar circumstances to ours.
I have experienced the regular committed attendance to my wife which was a great support to me over the period. My wife was helped as much as I was when I needed to attend hospital appointments carers came. I am more than grateful for all the commitment from the carers
Home instead have been caring for my father on a regular basis since a deterioration in his health earlier this year. The excellent care and support provided enables my father to fulfill his wish to continue living at home. The carefully selected team of care givers visit regularly and provide help where needed while respecting my father's need to maintain his independence. Home Instead provide a safe, effective person-centred service by building a strong relationship based on trust and respect. They are always very professional in their approach and have kept the family involved and informed as appropriate at every stage. This is a team that is genuine, caring and who go that extra mile. I would not hesitate to recommend this service to others.
We are extremely happy with the service we have received from Home Instead North Oxfordshire, they are a great team to deal with and are only too pleased to help in all situations. They are only too willing to help and advise on any situation that may arise, and their feedback is first class. We would have no hesitation in recommending their service to anyone.
Home Instead cared for my mother providing additional carers on a daily basis in tandem with her live-in carer.
We employed them when my mother became bed-bound and our carer was unable to assist on her own safely. They were able to assist us within a few days and proved themselves to be ultra-efficient in care, administration and reliability. I have nothing but the highest admiration and confidence in their care. I live in New Zealand so have to rely heavily on care staff for my mother. I felt that my mother and carer were in safe and capable hands. Sadly, her condition worsened and we had to make the decision to place her in residential care so we no longer employ Home Instead.
I highly recommend their services.
Home Instead North Oxfordshire proved themselves to be an extremely confident and conscientious agency. They select and train their staff carefully, and monitor effectively. Absolutely no complaints. I was confident my daughter was being very well looked after.
The same for the carers my mum had . They went out of their way to think of things to do even though my mother was blind. I found everyone in the company are full of empathy which we have not always received with other agency's. I would recommend this company to anybody who was thinking of using them . You would not be disappointed.

Meet the Team (5)
I joined Home Instead because of my experience in seeking Care for my father who had Alzheimer's Disease. I discovered that it's not easy to find quality support for a loved one and so my wife and I decided to create it. We joined Home Instead and opened our office in October 2013. Since that time we feel we have added something to the lives of 100's of clients and their families in North Oxfordshire and South West Northamptonshire.
Graham's overall role is to manage the business. He is also the nominated person with the Care Quality Commission.
I'm Adina and work with Home Instead in North Oxfordshire as Registered Care Manager, which means I am responsible for all elements of the service we provide. I initially joined as Deputy Manager for two years and also have over five years of experience in other roles within the care industry in Oxfordshire. I have found the focus we put on quality to be reflected in the experience people have every day. I feel very motivated and passionate about providing the highest quality service to our clients and their families.
I live nearby with my family and have a young daughter - see picture, I'm on the left! I love being a Mum… even if it does mean I don’t have too much time for hobbies these days!
I've been with Home Instead in North Oxfordshire since 2015. Initially, I was responsible for scheduling for three years, but after taking a year off to have twins (!) I undertook a role supporting as trainer Care Professionals through supervision and training. Since early 2025, I have taken a role as Deputy Care Manager, supporting Adina and the rest of the team to ensure the safe and high-quality delivery of our services.
I originally trained to degree level in psychology and have worked with both younger and older people since then. I really love working for Home Instead. The attention clients get, and the support we provide our staff, is second to none. I feel proud to work for the organisation.
I have worked in varied roles for a number of years, but after experiencing the need for care and support for my own parents, and the difference that extra support made to them both, I joined Home Instead in North Oxfordshire in 2018. I loved visiting my clients and progressed from CAREGiver to Senior CAREGiver and then to Field Supervisor in 2020, and am now in a training role. This involves the support of Care Professionals, making sure they are competent and confident to support their clients. I love the feeling you get when you know you make such a difference to people.
Outside of work, I love spending time with my family and especially my grandchildren. I have a wide and possibly unusual range of interests, including dressmaking, and I am also a keen motorcyclist and love nothing more than riding through the country lanes with my husband, especially in the summer months.
Gemma joined us in 2024 after having worked in patient services at a GP surgery. Her role ensures that client visits are scheduled efficiently, matching clients to caregivers, reacting to needs and ensuring no one goes without a visit. In this way, her role ensures the safe and high-quality delivery of what we do.
