Home Instead Farnborough, Farnham & Fleet is calling on the local community to get involved in its annual Easter appeal, collecting Easter egg donations for The Vine Centre in Aldershot.

The Farnborough team, which provides personalised home care to older adults across the area, has made community giving a cornerstone of how it operates. Last year's appeal saw the team deliver Easter eggs and food donations directly to Farnborough Foodbank and the Children's Ward at Frimley Park Hospital, and this year they are hoping the community will once again dig deep to help make Easter a little brighter for local families.

It is easy to underestimate what a donated Easter egg can mean to someone who is struggling. For parents using food bank services, treating their children to something special is often the first thing to go when budgets are tight. An Easter egg can give them that moment back, the chance to see their child's face light up in the way every parent wants. And it is not just children who benefit. For older or isolated members of our community, a small treat can carry real emotional weight, a reminder that someone is thinking of them.

Lauren Fridge, Business Development Manager at Home Instead Farnborough, said: "Every year we are blown away by the generosity of our local community, and it is something we are incredibly proud to be part of. Getting out and making those deliveries in person, seeing the smiles and the gratitude from the people we are helping is one of the highlights of our year. This Easter we are supporting The Vine Centre in Aldershot, which does such important work for people in our community, and we would love as many people as possible to get involved. No donation is too small, every egg and every contribution makes a real difference."

Easter egg donations are welcome until Friday 27th March and can be dropped off at the Home Instead Farnborough office at 45 Alexandra Road, North Camp, Farnborough, GU14 6BS.
