Dementia Cafe

Since October 2025, we’ve been running our very own dementia café, Echoes from the Past. We host this warm and welcoming group once a month at The Upper Room Café, a venue we carefully chose for its easy access, wheelchair friendly layout, and convenient on site parking. The café also offers a lovely selection of freshly prepared food, cakes, and drinks at affordable prices, making it a comfortable and enjoyable place for everyone.

Our monthly sessions are all about connection, comfort, and joy. We play music from the past to spark memories and encourage conversation, helping bring special moments back to life. Alongside this, we enjoy simple mind games, friendly chats over coffee and cake, and a relaxed atmosphere where everyone can feel included and supported.
